Biography: Christine does not have formal study in any political, historical or law-based field. In fact, her Bachelor degree is in Engineering (and you thought none of us had any creativity!). Her job is not in Engineering though, so I don’t know if that tells you anything or not… She loves to read – usually alternating one fiction book with one non-fiction book – and she’s hoping that she can infect others with her non-fiction fascinations (obsessions?) and her alarm at some of the trends that she sees. She does have a little comfort in the view that ideas and policies appear to be cyclical throughout history – like a swinging pendulum… but can you always count on that?
