Trump Train Moving Fast

Just finished voting in mid=terms, high noon, and I was the 25th voter to show. Things move kinda slow in the county.

But, the Trump train is burning up the rails. Over the last 48 hours we have witnessed:

A G7 conference

A summit meeting with N. Kor

IG report today

New sanctions on Russia

Mid-term candidates selected

And, my wife received a 'Johnny Cash cookbook'

Will the wheels fly off this train? We just have to sit back and watch the action. And, how will the communist news network and the fake news media react to the 'fast train'? Senator Menendez says he is 'alarmed'. Chris Matthews and his ilk are pretty sure we are in deep doo-doo.

Seems clear that Trump has assembled a very competent admin and is able to carry out his ideas efficiently, in spite of the never trumpers, establishment, deep swamp, NAU'ers and so on. Leaves one really looking forward to the next six years or so.

Hey Roy, let us know what you think of Johnny Cash’s cooking recipes.

The rabid Left was somewhat subdued during the reign of Barack, as they were getting lots of social goodies despite the lack of spendable goodies. The Left treasures ideas over substance, soaring oratory over words that move people to action, promises over delivery, and status quo over forward movement.

We now witness a Democrat Party devoid of any middle ground. Women, blacks, Hispanics and young people are deserting the party in historical droves. We don’t wonder the cause, we simply wonder why it took so long.

Years ago, I was at a job, working away, and a co-worker said to me, “Quit working so hard, you’re making me look bad!”. I told her I was making myself look good, not making her look bad. She didn’t want to hear it.

She must have been raised by Democratics, because that’s what they’re doing with Trump. Trump’s working harder than any Democratic has, and they know they’re looking bad when stacked up against Trump’s successes.

Democratics had their chance and they wasted it on buying votes.

While you were looking the other way, the Trump administration sold control of the internet to AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast. The Onion summarized it best:

“Having trouble understanding the nuances of net neutrality regulation ever since that horse kicked you upside the head? That’s just fine—you relax and look out at the river, now. Look it how the light sparkles off it just right, and don’t you turn around to look at me now, you hear?”

And, I misstated the IG report due date. It will be out Thursday and should be revealing, a big step forward.

Elections in November, N. Kor denuking, moving toward justice on Hillary and her email escapade… things are coming up roses.

Folks are running on Trump’s coat tails rather than running against him.

Not even pardons will save Trump. As someone said, Cohen doesn’t just know where the bodies are buried. He was the guy with the shovel. Collusion, money laundering, pay-to-play bribes from corporations to Trump- Cohen knows.

Manafort has more history with the right wing party than Dumpty has, going back at least 30 years.

Dumpty is clearly unwell, and should never have attempted the trip to Singapore. He made even less sense than usual, and has created problems in so many areas. He went into a private meeting with a dictator. There are probably recordings of what he said. He agreed to suspend military exercises as a precondition to the meeting, without bothering to tell the military, who are so far intending to ignore him without direct orders. Kelly and Pompeo were there, but have so far not clarified anything in public, but they must have had some contact with Mattis by now, but maybe not. The American public are being kept in the dark by a fool who tears up Presidential records, while others have to follow him around taping them back together.

That capitulation from Trump to North Korea can be explained one of three ways: 1) Trump is a terrible negotiator and got snookered, 2) Putin told him to do it, or 3) China told him to do it. In the past, both China and Russia have demanded an end to the training exercises.

None of the three possibilities are good for the US. None of our allies were notified prior to the offhand announcement. It was not even included in the one page “comprehensive” document signed by Trump and Kim Jong Un. The Defense Department, South Korea, Japan, VP Pence, and the GOP are scrambling to find out how things could have gone so wrong.

Why did Trump cave in to a demand the North Koreans have been making for literally decades? Why did he capitulate without receiving anything in return? Like I said, none of the answers are good.

President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un state the following:

The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new US-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.
The United States and DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula
The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.

Team Spirit continued to be scheduled from 1994 to 1996 but was canceled each year as an incentive to improve relations.

You guys don’t even try any more.

So you mean to tell me Trump went all the way to Singapore with a precondition agreement in place before Kim Jung Un would meet with him and we didn’t get anything in return for abandoning South Korea as a precondition to the meeting!

This general statement about denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula was already in place in April and they met to discuss specific but didn’t reveal what the time frame or other specifics are?

We get help with MIA/POW issues from 65 years ago in return for withdrawing our help from our friends in South Korea? After the North Koreans mountain collapsed on their nuclear program they agreed to denuclearize and we still sold out South Korea!

Yep it is a good thing he is such a deal maker. No wonder he was defrauding people or bankrupting his companies and others. With this type of weak leadership it seems Trump is both Putin and Jung Un’s b**ch. We got an agreement to disband a nuclear program that is blown up and doesn’t seem to be …well… even exist.. at this point and we sold out our long time allies!

Conservatives what has happened to you guys? Are you selling out the US government in favor of an Oligarch and/or a dictator? I realize you guys have a hatred of the US.. oh …wait… not the US… the US government… but you do realize by taking the government down you are taking the country down.

Pdx8, it really looks like Putain is attempting to re-assert his authority over his puppet since the Indonesia deal, with China one-upping him on the bribery front. He may feel that Dumpty has more interest in the newer bribes, and is forgetting about how he became a millionaire again after losing everything. Some of this would actually make sense if we were going back into the TPP. He may have promised that in private, or maybe his corporation is just going to be in the TPP. He is a terrible negotiator. I’m pretty surprised at Pompeo and Kelly, but maybe they know this will all be over soon.

In other news, things really seem to be going nuts in Orlando, with murders, an anthrax hoax, and some kind of chemical attack on an individual.

The symbolic statement and a little common sense tells you what’s going.

We have used the joint exercises as an incentive before. It doesn’t diminish the support we provide to South Korea.

The MIA/POW issue is still important to Americans.

We have no idea if or how the mountain collapse affected the NK nuclear program.

The rest of your rhetoric sounds like you and Oh are reading the same nonsense.

Kim Jong Un looked pretty uncomfortable most of the time and couldn’t wait to get away from Dumpty, but maybe it was a digestive issue. China paid for his travel, and Singapore paid the local expenses($8600 a night) by actually charging the international media extra on their hotel rates. We were supposed to pay, but the North Koreans didn’t want to look dependent. That was probably the most significant negotiation of the entire trip. The PM(dictator), Lee Hsien Loong didn’t want to pay, but figured out a way around it. The whole cost to Singapore was about 20 million. They are one of the few countries that have diplomatic relations with North Korea and the US.

Once again our Liberal WB Pals have shown their hypocrisy.

We have heard from them many times in praise of flag-burning, and comparing that act with patriotism. No one is surprised as they also consider kneeling during our national anthem as patriotic; or yelling “Fu*ck President Trump” from the stage of a nationally televised event as a worthy form of protest.

Yet, when the flag of the United States is shown with the flag of North Korea, at an important summit, they declare it as treason. They actually say it diminishes our flag. Wow…these folks have no shame.

President Trump’s approval rating in both South Korea and Japan have soared to record highs since the meeting with Kim. Our Libby Pals have already forgotten the fear in those two countries, Guam, Hawaii and others when NK was launching missiles and making threats.

These loons were terrified just a few short months ago when the NK threat was being shown on TV. Our North West coastal Pals in LibbieLand, within reach of Kim’s missiles, were begging President Trump to do something.

How short their memories. Now, with these threats ended, they sully the air with crap; rather than their underwear.

An actual rocket scientist explains what would need to happen:

A successful negotiation with North Korea requires a framework that meets four criteria. First, North Korea would have to produce an immediate declaration of all facilities and all people who have knowledge of nuclear development, and international inspectors must be given access to those individuals. Second, we need a complete catalogue of all nuclear material including the amounts and history of their production. Any agreement must also require that all nuclear devices be put under immediate international monitoring as they are disassembled or shipped out of the country. Lastly, North Korea must agree to a complete and ongoing regime of snap inspections throughout North Korea, including conventional military facilities.

Can we have a show of hands of those who expected a fully fledged-out, extremely detailed and nuanced, in treaty form, agreement at this first meeting? Those who did simply weren’t paying attention to the presidents statements.

Simply laughable.

And, these talking heads are so anxious to score political points that they forget that Kim is a God-like tyrant and undisputed leader of North Korea. Does anyone suppose he needs to get permission to disarm?

What he orders done will be done.

The North Koreans are playing the video of Trump saluting their general over and over again. Trump was briefed not to do this. He did it anyway.

Trump continues to praise Kim Jong Un. He just won’t quit. It is just awful to see the President of the United States fawning over a tinpot dictator. Trump refuses to condemn him.

Meanwhile, the Canadian parliament unanimously condemned Trump. Trump had no problem insulting Trudeau.

The German Foreign Minister gave a very sad speech about how America has become a country they need to take “countermeasures” against.

We used to be a good ally. We used to be the leader of the free world, at the forefront of human rights, freedom, and liberty. No more.

Both the Chinese and the Russians take credit for Trump making a concession about training without getting anything in return. According to that leftist rag, Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal, it was Putin.

Finally, conwservativers are seeing what they have waited for a long time, the IG report. Comey is criticized, but in the clear. Hillary Clinton is in the clear. LOL. Caught a few minutes of Limbaugh. Wish I had a nickel for every time he said “I don’t care what the IG report says!”

The state of NY is suing Trump over the Trump Foundation. Turns out Trump and his family were using the Foundation as a personal checkbook for his campaign. There was literally nothing to it, no administrative expenses, just an account. Trump even kept vouchers!

That Trump is mind bogglingly corrupt isn’t really news, but this case should move quickly and add an exclamation mark, or should I say, another exclamation mark to the constant and willful law breaking of Trump and his spawn. Financial crimes leave a trail. Trump literally kept the vouchers for spending on things that were NOT charities, and the state has them in its possession.

Fighting for fairer trade
Loosening regulations a little bit
Getting us out of the Paris Accord
Getting us out of the Iran ‘treaty’
Forcing North Korea into negotiations
America and Americans first

The left:
24/7 negative MSM coverage not working as planned
Claims of Russian collusion yet to pan out
Hate based personal attacks not working all that great
Hate based attacks on family backfires
Disrespecting our country, flag, culture and history also backfiring
Lies being ignored

I have a suspicion that the reason the right wing party is in lockstep with their cowardly leader is that they were engaged in some hacking of their own before he started cahooting and colluding with the russians. Hence the rush to the exits.

Well, that video shows some incredibly offensive stuff generated by the likes of FOX, Limbaugh, and others. They turned out to be dead wrong, but their followers will never hold them to account, never.

Hannity is a real piece of work. All those years he was telling his viewers about the bad economy under Obama, but he failed to mention he personally bet the farm on a good economic recovery, buying large amounts of real estate using loans from the federal government, and making large sums of money. Thanks, Obama.

Cohen only had three clients: Trump, Broidy, and Hannity. It will be fun to see if anything is ever released about Hannity and Trump’s fixer. Wonder what kind of scandals Hannity needed quashing. What a sleazy guy.

Let’s hold a moment of silence for all those conspiracy theories that died with the release of the IG report. I never much cared, and it didn’t tell me anything new, just reconfirmed what Democrats have been saying all along, namely, that Comey messed up. He played a major role in sinking Hillary Clinton and putting Trump into the presidency.

Sadly, the right wing imagined all sorts of things about criminal wrongdoing by virtually everyone at DOJ, the FBI, and of course, HRC and Obama. So sad.

Rather than nit pick the summit meeting between Trump and Kim, some observers point out some pluses.

President Trump “offered a sharp break from the previous administration’s appeasement of Iran and its feckless “strategic patience” policy on North Korea, which was Obama-ese for doing nothing. Last summer, Susan Rice, Obama’s national security adviser, even urged Trump in an op-ed to “tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea” rather than risk war.”

…”the deal is a sensational triumph for much of the human race, one that could improve the security of hundreds of millions of people in America, both Koreas and Japan. It also lifts the spirits of anybody anywhere who believes in the possibility of peace on Earth.

Before our eyes, a promise is made to turn swords into ploughshares. As Joe Biden said on a far less significant occasion, this is truly “a big f–king deal.”

A recent annual poll of presidential historians, both Republicans and Democrats, ranked Obama as the 8th best president.

They ranked Trump 45th. Out of 45. When Democrats were taken out of the mix and only Republicans counted, Trump ranked 40th.

That was last year. It has been downhill since then, as kctim’s earlier list demonstrates.

A tax cut the GOP no longer wants to own.

Horrific, heartbreaking images of immigrants parents seeking asylum at the border being forcibly separated from their children.

Trade wars.

Broken agreements and treaties.

But cheer up. In special elections at the state level, Democrats have flipped 44 seats. The GOP has flipped 7.

The Mueller investigation may wrap up the Obstruction portion in the next month or so. And I don’t think Mueller will go along with the efforts to stall over an interview with Trump. They might issue a subpoena, but then again, they might just go ahead and issue a report. Meanwhile, GOP hopes to discredit the FBI and DOJ through an IG report failed.

It just doesn’t get any funnier than this friends. phx8 is telling us that presidential historians have already examined, considered, and formed a majority consensus, on the Obama presidency a mere year and a half since his leaving office.

Historians worked at warp speed and have access to all the Obama presidential papers despite their being no library to house them or organized search engine to find them.

These same busy beaver historians have also made conclusions about the Trump presidency not yet even in its second year. They tell phx8 that from Trumps performance so far, they can extrapolate the remainder of his time in office. Some call that tea leaf reading. phx8 calls that fact.

I am curious however. We all know that during his first term, Obama blamed Bush for all his failures. Did the historians us this same tactic?

More laughs please phx8.

So the ongoing Trump crime family charity served no useful purpose but to funnel money to the Trumps….my what a surprise. Remember what conservatives were saying about the Clinton foundation and none of it true well your wishes have come true only it’s on Trump.

Trump had to go all the way to Singapore to meet with the dictator of North Korea. Praised him, gave this dictator credibility and declared North Korea would denuclearize this time as if they haven’t said the same thing a dozen times already. Maybe they will this time seeings they lost their test mountain recently and possibly their crtew working on nuclear projects..But they haven’t the last dozen or so times they said they would. The desperation in Trumps voice as he bragged about this appeasement was palpable. Hopefully he got this one right at the expense of our South Korean allies.

How far does Trump go to get rid of the Obama legacy? Will he forgo our long time allies like Canada, France, England and Germany for the lies of China, Russia the Philippines and North Korea? What we know is he is without a doubt Putin’s b**ch, totally owned by Putin. We know he has accepted bribes from China to keep some of their worst offenders in business and sucked up to Jung Un.

Phx8 are you suggesting the IG report that Roy and our other conservative friends have been anticipating would have Hillary doing the perp walk has all went up in smoke!
