He will try to enforce immigration law, revamp healthcare, revamp education, rebuild/renovate the military, beef up national security, and otherwise, put American first.

Remember that, Roy Ellis? Two months later the Democratics were complaining Trump hasn't achieved a single goal yet. Remember that?

What else did we have doodled on this page...?

Is there any reason the biographies of the site's writers don't work?
Posted by: Warren Porter at September 10, 2016 11:27 AM

Is this solved?
What if we do this;
If someone contributes to WatchBlog we will write and publish their biography on WatchBlog for them. Can we do this? I think it's a good idea!

We can't forget what Liz said!

Thank you, WW. Your contribution to WatchBlog is greatly appreciated!

You're welcome, Liz! Let's get some contributions coming in and start writing informative biographies about our contributors, yes?

Thanks Weary.

It is refreshing reading the results of the Hollywood Liberal Hypocrite bash (aka Oscars). Last nights Oscar Flop attracted the fewest viewers in many years.

It seems the majority of Americans have voted, by viewing preference, to ignore the Hollywood hypocrites and their attempt at humor aimed at Conservatives and Republicans.

I never watch those things. I often don’t watch movies with activist actors in them either. It’s like I’m watching a 2 hour long political ad. You never can tell if what your watching represents the truth. They’re so ginned up with political statements you can’t tell if it’s the truth or just someone trying to make a political point.

TV sitcoms are even worse. It’s like every one of them has to have a gay couple in it. How can something be funny if it makes you gag when watching it? The jokes suck also. It’s like, say a line, laugh track, say a line, laugh track, say a line, laugh track. It’s not worth watching any more.

WW, 17th or no 17th, I don’t see where it would make any difference re the W Va teachers strike. Seems the teachers are using the school children as a bargaining chip to ‘get a raise’.

Like I say, I would go along with repeal just for a change but I don’t really believe it would make a big difference. Senators would still ball up in Washington where they are easy prey for lobbyist. State governors might have more sway over their senators if the 17th is repealed but the outcome would still be about the same, IMO.

We can see the corpocracy coming into play on this issue of free trade vs regulated trade. Clear that the corpocracy will support Trump on issues they agree with and fight him like hell on issues where they don’t agree. We need to move more establishment GOP’er’s out come midterms.

Yeah Faux News is terrible when it comes to truth isn’t it Weary.

Roy, reach in your pocket if you want change just for change. The 17th amendment was ratified because of the corruption in the picking of senators prior to that time. Why would you want any Senators involved in the teachers strike in W. Va.? You oligarchist are all alike.

If all you have to offer is name calling, why bother? You know you have questions you should be answering in another post, don’t you? Are you unable to answer these questions? You’re only capable of name calling?

So it seems after a court decision Trump was thrown out of a hotel he bullied his way into in Cyprus and the owner celebrated with the anti-fascist song “Accordeon” is that just so appropriate or what?

An actual reflection of my ideas!? Did you really say that?

You are really loosing credibility, j2t2! What did I say that gave you the impression I am a government of any kind?

Just because you think we are stupid doesn’t mean you can just spout this kind of nonsense and get away with it.

You act like a petulant child with your inability to answer questions and throwing around insults. You don’t even know what they mean!

Yes, it is name calling. Bratty, juvenile, insulting, name calling.

court decision Trump was thrown out of a hotel he bullied his way into in Cyprus

Is this in the National Inquirer or some other tabloid? I have no idea what you’re talking about. Do you have a link to this? Is it on the website? Are you getting your news from Bill Mahar and Jimmy Kimmel again?

Weary I don’t think you are stupid.

Yes, it is name calling. Bratty, juvenile, insulting, name calling.

You guys are so politically correct when it comes to what you want to be called Weary. To bad you don’t give that same respect to others.Where was your outrage when Trump mocked the reporter with the joint condition? Is it name calling when some one is offended when you call them a derogatory name for their race or s*x or their religion?

I’m starting to think this whole “politically correct” thing is really nothing more than showing respect for those with opposing views, skin color, religion, and so on. I mean to hear conservatives tell it I am a leftist or a socialist or a communist and that is perfectly fine with them, not name calling. But when I say you are an oligarchist or fascist or Nazi or extremist far right authoritarian you get all butt hurt and tell me it is name calling! Jeez I wonder what the answer is to that dilemma.

Anyway Weary I thought you guys liked this kind of derogatory back and forth, because you are so politically incorrect, but if you are offended then I can be a bit gentler with you guys. Of course respect is a two way street so I would expect the same from you guys.

Weary my bad I said Cyprus, which is where the majority owner is from, but it should be Panama. Here is the link.

He mocks everyone like that. He didn’t single this guy out because he was an invalid. That’s fake news.

Who called someone a derogatory name, j2t2?

It’s not showing respect when you demand your views be agreed to. I am not an oligarch, or a fascist, or a Nazi. You simply say those words to cause a stink. They’re baseless. You label people with those words because they don’t agree with you. The answer is to quit making false accusations about people you know nothing about.

Did you read the article you linked to, j2t2? This had nothing to do with Trump. No one kicked Trump out of a hotel. The previous management was escorted out of the building by police. Trump’s name was removed from the building because the guy in the story bought a majority share.

You are manufacturing fake news! Shame on you, j2t2. You not only got the country wrong, you got the whole story wrong!

And I mock everyone like that as well Weary and I didn’t single you out because you were an invalid either. I singled you out because you responded to a comment I made just like Trump singles out the reporter for doing his job. Yet here we are, you are upset. You make excuses for Trump and you criticize me. It’s ok for you guys to mock physical deformities and call people dot heads, Communist, towelheads, Socialist, snowflakes or …whatever you want but when the lack of respect is returned you whine about it. Am I understanding you correctly Weary?

Political correctness is a two way street IMHO not a one way street Weary. You seem sad you can’t have your cake and eat it to.

It’s not showing respect when you demand your views be agreed to.

When have I ever demanded that you agree to my view on any issue Weary? Just like you I have stated opinions and I have also upped the game with facts on many occasions but isn’t that the purpose of WB?

I am not an oligarch, or a fascist, or a Nazi. You simply say those words to cause a stink. They’re baseless. You label people with those words because they don’t agree with you.

So does Trump Weary. So did you when Obama was president. and lord knows the name calling rants of yours when the name Clinton is mentioned. I suggest that because conservatives have supported such nefarious decisions,by the conservatives on the SCOTUS, as Citizens United that an oligarchy form of government is what you preferred. Then when we found Putin had so much sway with Trump that it was a done deal when it came to Oligarchy. The few rich guys get to decide how the country is run.

The answer is to quit making false accusations about people you know nothing about.

What would conservatives have left if that ere the case Weary? How could they win an election without so many false accusations and Russian help…of course. I suggest that the problem is a lack of respect.

You hear all these myths misinformation half truths and outright lies in the conservative echo chamber you live in and you get an attitude towards the rest of us. You then repeat these, complete with name calling, misrepresentations and expect those you direct your anger towards to be ok with it. Then you defend your comments along with so many other conservatives by claiming you are just politically incorrect and tired of hearing about the sensitivity of others towards the derogatory comments you make.

Of course after a while the other guys do the same and poof here we are. you are sensitive to the derogatory comments of others while we are just politically incorrect and tired of hearing about your sensitivities. Of course you know who wins Weary, not you not me. The people that divide us win.The money men for the corporations and political parties win. The establishment as you say. All because you don’t want to respect the opinions of others. You let your anger take over and go into denial mode and …well… allow those same people to win yet again. So yes I would say the issue is a lack of respect towards others.

So it’s fake news eh Weary! Some one just came into Panama and put the Trump signs up at this hotel and when Trump heard about it came and took them down? You had better check it out a bit more Weary the Trump organization lost the lawsuit and got their management team thrown out.

I don’t know how you can justify saying this. It is patently false. It’s always accompanied with the word Nazi at some point. It’s been that way for almost a year with you. You say nothing that matters, just name calling and insults and innuendo. We say show us some proof and it’s more name calling from you. We ask you a question and you never answer, it’s just more name calling and slander.

I’ll enjoy a good debate as much as anyone else, j2t2, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to continue to listen to you beat a dead horse with this Nazi crap and just take it. It’s fake and childish of you to hang on to it like this. Get over it.

Weary, funny how it is you guys that bring “Nazi” up so often, isn’t it. I mean I don’t think I have said anything like that in the past several threads. I have focused on oligarchy recently as it seems to be where we are as a country today. I’m sorry you don’t like that but it is where we are with our elected representatives today. The billionaires have won the battle Weary. They have divided us and now dictate to the Congress what laws will be passed and what won’t.

In fact I have compared conservatives in this country to the people of Germany in the ‘20’s and 30’s for…what..4..5 years now. I mean Nazism and Fascism are extreme right wing ideologies and it seems you guys just continue going farther and farther to the right. We have these extremist preaching hate at colleges across the country Weary thanks to the rise of Trump. Now the problem is those that are conservatives but not quite to the extreme defend those that are, they make excuses for them. The comparison is justified Weary as mainstream conservative continue to go farther and farther to the right.

While you may not like it, because you do not want to have a mutually respectful debate you get what you get. This isn’t “just name calling and insults and innuendo” as you claim but because you have so much hatred for those who don’t blow smoke us the Donald’s a** you can’t understand what I am saying. Your loss IMHO.

You have completely disregarded my comments on political incorrectness being a two way street and seem to want a one way street. Sorry for you but life doesn’t work that way Weary.

I can agree that there is a form of oligarchy present in the U.S. GE is a prime example of one. Alphabet is another. How many individual corporations control the entire food source for the U.S? That’s a good question.

What I can’t stand is you’re calling me an oligarch. You’re calling all conservatives oligarchs in your quest to ostracize them. I’ll bet you dimes to donuts there are more Democratics controlling GE and Alphabet and the major news networks than there are conservatives. Why don’t you call them out, j2t2? Why don’t you look into how many of the huge corporations that are controlling practically everything in this country are run by Democratics?

You won’t, will you? You can’t put a blemish on your precious Democratic party. You can’t bear to cast a shadow when it’s so easy to blame conservatism for the problems the Democratic party has caused.

The recent school shooting we’ve been talking about was a direct result of Democratic’s policies, put in place by Democratics, enforced by Democratics, and most of the time the results are committed by Democratics, not the NRA as the left constantly claim. Examine the media’s focus on the NRA compared to the focus it refuses to put on the people who allowed it to happen.

Just compare how long the Arizona Democratic congresswoman was in the news compared to the Republican at the softball game was in the news. No one in the MSM wanted to splash Steve Scalise’s attacker’s history all over the news for weeks like was done with Gifford’s attacker. The MSM went out of their way to claim Gifford’s attacker was a conservative. They went so far as to blame someone who had nothing to do with it, FOR WEEKS! The MSM went out of their way to tar an innocent person who was defending himself and his neighborhood from a drug addled thug. They went out of their way to create a false narrative of “Hands Up”, which caused riots! These are the Democratics at work, j2t2. This behavior is what you support every time you call us a Nazi, every time you blame conservatives, you give license to these people.

If you want to blame someone for cities burning down, blame the people who burnt them down, j2t2. If you want to blame people who shoot up schools, blame the people who shoot up the school. It’s that simple. Quit giving them permission by blaming the abstract boogieman you’ve created in your head.

Weary you must think these two statements are incompatible. But they are not. Just because I have commented on occasion the past several years doesn’t mean I have commented in the past several threads. I usually bring these issues up when the behavior of conservatives reminds me of mindless followers and that has happened a quite a bit recently with Trump and the lengths his followers go to to justify his words and deeds.

As I said previously I am saying conservatives lean towards oligarchy based upon their support of decisions like Citizens United as an example. It is what you support that I base my comments on Weary.

I don’t think who is running the corporations is the actual point Weary. The CEO’s have a position on issues just like the rest of us. The problem is when laws are passed or as in the case of Citizens United decided by SCOTUS in favor of the monied class that we see the monied class determining the outcome of legislation. They basically buy the legislation.

Weary you keep bringing up dems as if I am a dem, I’m not, nor have I ever registered as a dem. I have registered as an independent since I could vote. But FYI they have their share of problems as well.

So you think the MSM is picking on you because of the Scalise and the Gifford shootings Weary? Ask yourself this did the Scalise shooter go to court months after the shooting. The answer is no, he was shot and killed on the spot. The Gifford shooter was captured alive and held until he was sane enough to go to trial a time span of several months. My point is you you compare apples and oranges don’t feel butt hurt because the repub’s shooting didn’t stay in the news as long.

The recent school shooting wasn’t the result of dem policies Weary. That is those dividers I have been talking about getting to you. Look the NRA has powerful propaganda and they are part of the oligarchy when it comes to legislation in this country. The reason kids go to schools to shoot people has more to do with the kids life than with a no gun zone. Do you recall any kids going to a different school than their own school and shooting it up? It always seems to be the school they attended doesn’t it? Anyway we seem to be getting way off the politically correct issue but since oligarchy is an issue…..

The nepotism we see in the current administration, that seems to be conservative supported and applauded nepotism that tell us which direction our government is heading in.

Oh crap Weary …you have descended into madness with this blaming the MSM…and dems… and me for the militarized police and whatever else you are talking about. This is those dividers I was telling you about fooling with you Weary. This us against them attitude, Weary, has grabbed you by the short hairs it seems.

It wasn’t that long ago you were outraged over the police raiding and killing people and dogs whilst hunting for drugs. It was the civil forfeiture money that really had their interest. Now the police aren’t militarized they are the victims of the MSM…and the dems…and me!

Do you see how easy it is when you have immigrants, or someone is questioning the AR-15 with high capacity clips after a mass murder, or Muslims, or dems or lazy welfare people or communist or your religious rights are violated because gays marry, to get angry and hateful Weary, It divides us, they win.

It’s funny how you guys think draining the swamp means finding something to pin on the previous administration when this administration is running the Trump business while traveling on the taxpayers dime. When this administration is in league with how many oligarchs from Russia. Yet you get upset…and try to blame the messenger.

j2, purpose of gov’t is to protect and service it’s people. So, whatever the circumstance of the world at the time of the school shooting, gov’t of that state/county/city was expected to act to protect and service the people in that county.

SRO never went into the school to find the shooter. An officer was on site within one and half minutes after shots were fired. It was eleven more minutes before an armed officer went inside the school.

Broward County registered voters are majority dims, 68-30%.

Like the Calif city Mayor tipping off the illegal criminal element of a pending ICE raid. The law is clear that the Federal gov’t has authority over immigration. Yet, the Mayor acts in conflict with long existing law. She’s not alone by a long shot.

But, the greater majority of supporters of her position are dims.

dims are desperate to regain control of gov’t. They are hard at work to get illegals on the voter rolls. They are way willing to ignore law in a rabid attempt to regain control.

dims have pushed their illegal agenda to the point where we may have some small civil wars breaking out around the country. Hatfields and McCoys and so on … .

So whats your point Roy? Are you suggesting that because Broward County is roughly 2/3rds dem voters the shooter …what..exactly? Or the police …what exactly? Oh Roy…. you aren’t trying to legitimize Weary’s “dem policies” argument are you?

Lets remember some things guys before we go ff on such a witch hunt. First of all if the dems had their way on policy do you think the last shooter would have had an assault rifle? Second you are trying to make a logical argument based on the the schools being a no gun zone. But like I said Roy does the shooter really consider going to the school for any other reason than he went to that school at one time or another.

“Everytown for Gun Safety found that among 133 mass shootings between January 2009 and July 2015, 70 percent took place in private homes while 13 percent took place in “gun-free zones,” where carrying of concealed guns were prohibited. Another 17 percent took place in public areas where the carrying of firearms are allowed.”

Politifact, which rated your gun free zone claim a half truth.

Lets also remember Roy there were school shootings long before there were gun free zones.

Although school shootings have a long history in the United States, the 1990s were a pivotal point, with high-profile occurrences in such cities as Pearl, Mississippi (1997); West Paducah, Kentucky (1997); Springfield, Oregon (1998); and Jonesboro, Arkansas (1998). However, it was the shootings at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, in 1999 that brought particular urgency to the issue.

Wrong again, j2t2. School shootings became much more prominent after the 1994 creation of free-fire zones.
