Third Party & Independents Archives

LIONS '0', CHRISTIANS '1'

What has happened is historical and will never again be repeated, IMO. Christians and the silent majority pushed Trump into the WH. Really hard to get them to stand up and be counted. But, they did, and in so doing have given Trump a populist mandate to bring great change to this country.

Trump is the closest thing to a third party president that one could imagine. His positions represents a mix of conservative, liberal, centrist and populist. One would think he would have support for his agenda from all quarters.

Not so. Corpocracy remains outside Trumps mandate. Globalism and open borders remains the cornerstone of the Corpocracy. Or, money trumps all. They will fight Trump on any attempt to negotiate trade agreements. The right and left will give Trump a hard row to hoe.

Therefore, I expect Trump to achieve very little of his populist reform agenda. BUT, as long as he will stand up and poke a stick in the eye of Corpocracy I will be very satisfied. No other person, IMO, could, operating as a one man band, accomplish what he has been able to do.

A historical moment hinged on turning us from socialism to free and FAIR market capitalism. Trump can appoint SC judges who will represent law under the Constitution, turning from activists judicial legislation. He can nix the executive orders put in place by the Obama administration.

Thank you Christians and silent majority. I am so happy and at peace with myself. Not as good as a new 3rd party w/a/dif/pol/att - - - but, I'll take what we've got fer the time being.

Otherwise, we have the Corpocracy we deserve- - -

He is the most corpocratic candidate possible, and that’s what makes this whole thing so laughable. When you reduce your approach to government to an ideology, you make it insanely simple for a lazy politician to simply say the right words and gain your support.

God Bless our new president and God Bless America. All of us.

No, the most laughable thing about all of this is that the left really has no clue about how this happened.
‘Obamacare,’ your silly a$$ bathroom wars, your labeling all who dare disagree with you ‘unintelligent deplorable racists,’ your rejection of American exceptionalism, supporting and excusing the actions of BLM, attacking religion, constantly attacking the 2nd Amendment…on and on and on.

Fact is, it has been the left who has reduced their approach to government to an ideology, and they are the ones who made it insanely simple for Trump to become President.

Much to my own surprise, the false progressive fantasy world you created in your own minds has been shattered. Your threats are laughable and your doom and gloom is ridiculous. You believed your own lies and excuses to be fact and you are now receiving your just desserts.
The liberal tears are delicious.

To my Republican and Conservative friends, I happily admit that I was wrong. Good job. Trump is more of a moderate Democrat than a Conservative, so please keep him in line.

I’ll wait and see what a Trump administration will bring. As always, my first loyalty will be to the Constitution and the liberal ideals it entails. If Trump can figure a way to fit his policies within that philosophy, he will have a successful Presidency. On the other hand, if he seeks to bludgeon unpopular changes on an unwilling nation, the honeymoon will be very short. He must never forget that Hillary Clinton won the support of more Americans than he did.

I find it funny that Trump supporters acts like he won in a landslide victory. They’re just happy he won at all since the media said it was near impossible, even fox news.. He won the electoral college, he lost the popular vote. More people voted against him than for him, that’s not a mandate. Don’t get me wrong, she was a terrible candidate, good riddance, but so was he. He just someone came off as more genuine. America has been ungovernable for decades, on full display for the whole world to see. I hope he really can unite the country by pushing off labels of right and left and just truly be a president for everyone. and on the funny side (i know not funny) I also want to know who shot JFK?, are there really aliens?, was 9/11 an inside job? He promised “only the truth” just like in the matrix. Americans have decided to take the red pill, so lets see how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Alas, the country was governed quite effectively during the first two years of Barack Obama’s Presidency. Stuff got done and much-needed bills got passed. Sure, things weren’t perfect but it was far better than the basket case Washington DC is today.

He promised “only the truth” just like in the matrix.

Sorry to break it to you, but Trump is not going to herald a new era of transparency. The man who would not trust Americans with his tax returns is not going to trust anyone with any “truth” that may or may not exist behind various conspiracy theories.
