Now That the DNC Is Over, Let The War Begin

Hillary Clinton has just clinched the historical spot as the 2017 candidate for President of the United States of America.

It was a shoe-in for Clinton considering her position as former Secretary of State of the U.S. Under present president Barack Obama. Clinton now caps a long career for serving the the people and winning the presidency would be stellar consider she would be the top women’s candidate for all time. Clinton’s husband, former president Bill Clinton on would like nothing more than to see she take the high office. Women across the landscape would be as equally enamored should she take the office as well. It would send shockwaves throughout the world and women would feel empowered like never before.

Although Clinton has made history, she's not out of the barn yet. She still has major competition from the Donald Trump forces who will no doubt be ready to defend their position sun up to sun down. Democrats aren't all that happy with Clinton nor are all Republicans happy with Trump, but both candidates have the public on the run to the point of confusion and upset. It will take the Democrats quite an uphill battle to beat the Trumps but all is not lost. In Clinton's favor will come her public service record. She's proven herself there with no doubt. Trump has no track record regarding public service to the likes of Clinton and when it comes to public service, that means a lot.

On popularity's side is Trump. He's got all the flash and show of a wily candidate and the money too. He'll have to come in on the side of getting the people's attention and that won't be difficult for Trump and his campaign people.

Now the battle rages. It would be suggest that both sides not attack one another and just present the facts and let the people decide. Will the country need a business exec with a penchant for outlandish and viciously attacking their opponents or a president known for diplomacy? Trump and his volatile nature and Clinton with her lack of awareness of security till undoubtedly be the center of the controversy and considering both have been Clinton's downfall it may be her undoing.

Security is paramount in making presidential decisions. Should Clinton make another misstep, it's all over for her. Should Trump's loud mouth spew anymore hostility, it will be like a snake biting itself in the hide.

Between now and election day it going to be one long wait.

“Security is paramount in making presidential decisions. Should Clinton make another misstep, it’s all over for her. “

Oh please Greg; get real. She has already proven she is unreliable with national secrets and is called a liar by the FBI Director. Why would anyone with any common sense give her another chance?

Trump can be as hostile as he wishes to those who would attack, or attempt to change, our Democratic Republic.

Relax, Royal Flush. This is just the setup for when Democratics play the wombaphobe card. Just like with Obama being black, Hillbilly by sheer luck is a woman and can’t be criticized.

Did Hillbilly even go to the convention? I thought she phoned it in yesterday or the day before.

Trump has so much ammunition. Should be super entertaining to watch him drill down on Hillary re her email problems during the debates. Then, there is Benghazi, the Iran deal, the ‘reset’ with Russia, sailors being grabbed up by Iran in Red Sea, the Cuba deal, Gitmo, Bill meeting with the attny general.

I know she’s a tough lady but I truly do feel for her.

Roy,

I wouldn’t be so confident about Trump in the debates. At some point, he is going to have to actually articulate how he is going to accomplish anything. He says that he is the “only one” who can solve problems. OK, how! That may be a more difficult task than he thinks.

Rich, I believe Trump can continue being Trump and pull it off. Also, believe the voters are not interested in policy or ‘how its going to work’. They want to be entertained, amused, and will vote based on which candidate has the best snippets, best one liners, best ‘gotcha’ moments, and so on — -

And, good grief, what could Hillary say about how she is going to make us great based on her and the Obama track record?

All Trump has to do is keep breathing, IMO.

Here it is, Royal Flush! The Wombaphobe card being played. You can’t criticize the Hillbilly.

I knew it was just a matter of time.
This is stupid, no, desperate logic. How can anyone come to the conclusion someone thinks all women are incompetent simply because he points out one woman is incompetent?

It’s like what the definition of is, is…
We’re going to raise taxes on the middle class!!!
(Cheers and Applause from people programmed to cheer and applaud)
What difference, at this point, does it make!?
Sorry, I short circuited.
CoughCoughHackHack.

Hillbilly is not getting elected.
