Heavy Water in Flint

People in Flint, Michigan have been getting sick from lead poisoning from water they have been drinking for about a year.

If it is determined that elected officials knew of contaminated water they should be removed from office through impeachment or the next election cycle.

A Mi. US senator was blustering this morning that he wanted accountability for those involved. Can anyone imagine how this US senator wouldn’t know of the water quality? A federal agency had published a report declaring that the water contained unsafe lead levels.

Run, Trump, Run = = =

Roy, was that federal agency the EPA? With their power they should have shut the city down and fined it $10 million per day until water quality was safe; as they would with any other entity.

Go Cruz…Go Trump

I think it was an EPA report, Royal.

But there won’t be any ‘accountability’. No politician wants to quarrel with another local politician who can cost him/her votes at the next election. Total wimps, IMO.

Notice how both parties want the folks to ‘be nice’ to them, don’t make any waves. They want it to stay the way it has been, tenure secured thru special interests.

Regan gave amnesty in the 80’s and said he would get a handle on immigration. I don’t think I will see it in my lifetime.

Some of us want something done about the $20T, immigration, the economy, inequality and so on - - -

Huge crowd for Trump in Pensacola tonight. I’m hopeful that between those disaffected in the parties and the Indies that Trump can carry through to win the presidency.

Well, me and Tommie Jefferson are going to continue to take it to them - - -

Rum, Trump, Rum - - -

Roy, Flint was forced to switch water supplies as a cost savings measure after the jack booted thug that run the state put an emergency manager in place to cut costs.

The state DEQ failed to demand Flint add corrosion control chemicals, the EPA wasn’t involved to any degree.

Yes Snyder should be removed from office.

Before we all get our panties in a bunch, blaming the EPA and the Federal government, here is a link to the ongoing poisoning of American people that results when the fox is put in charge of the chickens.

Massive river pollution bad enough to corrode machinery? Lead pipes?

Is Flint Michigan still living in the ‘70’s?

These sound like problems the rest of the country fixed 40 years ago!

Another fine example of the austerity that Republicans promulgate.

Really starting to look forward to the primary process if it weren’t for all of the hype surrounding every word. But it is part of the process so I guess I can just enjoy what I can from it all and hope that the best man/woman wins the election.

President Obama may be able to get lots done that I agree with since all of the focus will be on the candidates.

Just get in there and be nice, don’t make any waves, try to like everybody and you can build a career/retirement bigtime. If that don’t work then fall in the bathtub and go out on disability, and so on = = =
