DemReps a.k.a Corpocracy

I can’t get too excited about the nebularies tween the dem/reps. None, as I can tell, would do much to change the status quo, i.e. gov’t by corpocracy. IMO, Huckabee would make a good centrist president but alas, will never get the nod.

An article in today's WaPo relates that the voting public has little interest in reform of gov't re corpocracy or inequality. Pretty lame when a socialist, Bernie Sanders, carries the populist and 3rd party banner for the country. His numbers indicate that the top one-tenth of 1 percent own more wealth than the bottom 90 percent. That the Walton family owns more wealth than the bottom 40 percent.

Seems the corpocracy will plow about $2B into the 2016 presidential election. The Koch borthers plan to spend some $889M on the presidentials. According to Bernie, a half-dozen new senators attended a Koch confab in Palm Springs weekend to thank their patrons.

Article concludes with the statement that "you can't have a populist revolution without people."

Yeah, more Koch hate… Nevermind the fact that they personally give more to charity than they directly give to political causes, they are simply evil!

Soros, Steyer, etc give more personally than those two as well…

Do they seek donations to their political foundations and help direct it? Yes, they do. But so does every political foundation, like Greenpeace, SEIU, NAACP, etc. They are all directed by individuals who are put in charge of them. But they do raise a lot of money, perhaps that is because a lot of people agree with what they are doing?

No, it’s all a plot to take over the government apparently… ‘corporate interests’, ‘illuminati’, ‘new world order’, ‘freemasonry’, etc…

And as we all apparently know, if you spend a lot of money, you will win. It’s a foregone conclusion. And that fits in with the narrative that people are stupid and they need us smart people to tell them how to live otherwise they might fall for this evilness!

“you can’t have a populist revolution without people.”

So, why would you want a populist revolution if you think that people are so stupid as to just vote for the guy who spends more money? Or is it just that the populists want to be the ones to tell those people how to think without competition?

Rhinehold, no Koch hate coming from me. The Koch’ clan is doing what comes natural.

It’s seems really simple to me. Money buys power and money is not equally distributed among us. So, let’s take as much money as possible out of politics/gov’t.

Va. is currently trying to limit the amount/level of gifts to their governor. Are you all right with that?

I would rather have congress legislating most of the time rather than spend 3/4’s of their time dialing for dollars.

There is a better way, IMO.

You post “No, it’s all a plot to take over the government apparently… ‘corporate interests’, ‘illuminati’, ‘new world order’, ‘freemasonry’, etc”

I believe corporations/wealthy ‘took over’ the government, except for naming the courthouses, setting up franking privileges and so on, many decades hence. ‘illuminati’ and ‘free masonry doesn’t translate.

On NWO I would relate that some 400 US workers are being fired at a Calif energy plant. Their last task is to train some 400 H1B visa holders to take over from them. Each H1B worker said to save the corp $40k/yr.

I believe the WaPo gave the President several pinochios (close) for saying his proposed transasia trade treaty would create jobs for US citizens. And, we do know very well the jobs lost thru NAFTA and all the Afta’s and so on - - -

The Labor Dept has authority to set it right if a US worker is fired to create positions for foreign H1B workers. Hasn’t happened. NWO, on the move, Rhinehold

Otherwise, we have the corpocracy we deserve.
