The Terrorist Who Lived in Rochester

If you are a returning member of the military, having done a turn of duty in Iraq, concerns about Veteran Affairs and the quality of medical treatment that you will receive, should you need it, is not your only worry. Aside from planning how to rejoin the workforce, there now appears to be another, far more serious, risk you could face. A Yemen-born naturalized US citizen has been arrested in Rochester accused of providing resources and logistical aid to potential ISIS recruits. But Mufid Elfgeeh has also been charged with purchasing and possessing handguns with silencers to be used against returning soldiers as well as any Shiites who happen to live in the upstate New York area.

One has to commend the FBI and whatever other intelligence agencies were involved in the sting that caught the terrorist red-handed and brought him quickly into custody. But the arrest opens up - to the general public at least - the uncomfortable question of recruiting and volunteering for ISIS in the US and countries like the UK as well. This is a disturbing issue because it raises the question of what country, in terms of beliefs and allegiances, do these potential recruiters or volunteers actually live in? How conditional is their citizenship - assuming they are citizens of the US like Elfgeeh - compared to other immigrants who are willing to serve in the military for example? In Cardiff, Wales, a mosque where ISIS recruits prayed before departing for Syria stated "the mosque is not in the business of making value judgements on the soundness of an individuals Islam from the way they look." How smugly convenient and how politically correct to focus on appearance and judgement, and not on the actions and beliefs of the young men who are now fighting for one of the most savage terrorist organizations the world has witnessed. The Cardiff mosque also suggested that images in the "mainstream media" could be to blame for the young men joining ISIS. In other words, Western troops on the ground or in the air in the Middle East are ultimately to blame for ISIS.

Would Mufid Elfgeeh - had he not been detained - have been as likely to target Shiites as he would have members of the military? Or was that a desperate tactic utilized when he realized he had been caught in a sting? It's a hard question to answer and it may very well be he planned to target both military members and Shiites. The enemy of my enemy is my friend - a proverb that comes from South Asia and not the Middle East apparently and was used extensively in relation to alliances during the Cold War - leads again to the US military policy in the Middle East and the Shiite - Sunni divide. It would be a mistake, however, to worry too much about the divide in Islam and instead focus on how to contain and cut off support for ISIS from within the Western World. That means dealing with kidnappings and European allies, as well as those who turn to terrorism from within the US and other nations in the West. And that means continually obtaining actionable intelligence on local islamic communities in places like Rochester NY and Cardiff Wales, no matter who gets offended. It could be a matter of life and death.

This localized terrorist issue can be laid at the feet of globalisation and the federal gov’t. The U.S. and developed world has to somehow contend with their open doors policy for migrants.

Was never a good idea to allow people just to ‘roll on in’ with no information about them. You couldn’t get any traction say, fifty years ago by stating that some immigrants just might want to cut your head off. Now you can.

We need a system of immigration where people come in thru some official gatekeeping, some vetting, followed by some introduction to the country thru civics, history, constitution education and so on - - -

I’ve always been in approval of locking up Japanese immigrants during WWII. Today, I worry about primarily Chinese spies running off with all the secrets.

Britain is threatening to freeze passports for some of their bad boys. Looking forward, what might the US do if the lone wolves become more successful in knocking off citizens and property? Where would we send people if they don’t know where they came from, etc? Doubtful we would fence them in but, if the level of violence was high enough - - -

Otherwise - - -

There is a speech that the British Prime Minister made, where he said that non violent extremism is just as dangerous as terrorism and must be eradicated using all means at the government’s disposal.

He made references to 9/11 and 7/7 Truthers as examples of the type of extremism that must be dealt in a similar fashion to ISIS, and I suspect he was Secretly Sending a Subliminal Message regrading those who believe that the Scottish Independence Referendum was Rigged.

I wrote a comment to that News Article which is Titled: David Cameron Says Non Violent Conspiracy Theorists Are Just As Dangerous As ISIS at , and it is the rest of this comment.

There could be People who think that it could be a Conspiracy Theory by the Violent War Criminal British Prime Minister, who claims that Conspiracy Theorists Exist, and if Non Violent People with Opinions or with Facts are supposedly more dangerous that ISIS, then please explain the Conspiracy Theories of the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former American President George Bush which were used as a Pretext for the Illegal and Immoral War in Iraq in 2003, which lead to the deaths of many People.

The answer by the Apologists for their Lying War Mongers Partners is that People make honest unintentional mistakes, but we All Know that those War Mongers Deliberately Lied, and so if these War Mongers are Allowed to Lie, and the Citizens of Anglo-America are Not Allowed to be mistaken, then it is one Standard for Us Lying War Mongering Leaders of Anglo-America, and another Standard for the so called Citizens of Anglo-America.

If the Anglo-American War Mongers are Entitled to Lie and Murder, then we are Entitled to our Opinions, and we Reserve the Right to be Wrong.

In a Democracy, it is Impossible to have 100% agreement on Any Matter, and so the Solution is to have the Right to Free Speech, and to Agree to Disagree without becoming Disagreeable.

We All know that the Real Concern of the War Criminal Dictators of Anglo-America, is that Peace Loving People are speaking Proven Facts, which are Inconvenient to the War Criminal Dictators of Anglo-America, who would like People to believe the Lies that are written and spoken by their Puppets in the Western Mainstream Media.

America, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Secretly Fund ISIS, the Syrian Rebels, and the Al Nusra Front, and All of these are Secret Allies of each other against Syria, which is a Democracy, and has recently held an Election.

Dwight Eisenhower warned the American People about the Military Industrial Complex, and America Secretly Employs ISIS to give America a Pretext to be in Iraq and Syria, because America wants Military Bases in Iraq, and they want to give Syria to their ‘Moderate’ Terrorist Criminal Allies, who are Euphemistically called the Syrian Free Army, and this is because Iraq and Syria are some of the Vital Countries that are Needed for the Secret Plan by Britain and America for WW 3.
