Bored To Death Of Being Scared
Sometimes its fun or exciting to be/get scared. But, when its overdone, like most anything, it gets to be downright boring. The Corpocracy, in working the US down to its fighting weight, is overdoing the use of scare tactics, IMO.
On average, we are being scared by the Corpocracy about once every quarter and there seems to be more 'fiscal cliffs' lining up in our future. Some see it as a useful tool to get people to go along with the program. Some find it exciting to wonder if they or their neighbor might lose their job, etc. I tend to see it as akin to playing with your nasal drip, in that not much will come of it.
Ironic, that the Corpocracy is releasing some number of illegal aliens from prisons as a cost savings measure re the 'sequester'. These folks were likely in training so that after release they could go out and find jobs in the community. As it is, I expect they will beat feet for the Southern border. Truly, a loss for commerce, very scary to business folks, I assume.
Would seem that we could keep the prison doors locked a while longer just by nullifying a 13 year old grant made during the golden age of pork to fund some 80 small airports that are devoid of flight activity. Or, any number of such projects that were injected back in the heydays.
Also kinda scary that the majority of terrorists threats/attacks will come from US citizens. Seems many citizens go over seas and rat us out. Seems we need more border security to keep us in rather than to keep them out.

Some people may find this hard to believe, but then they need to understand why their government would do this.
It is not mostly due to costs.
It is mostly for votes and cheap labor, and it is despicable how the majority of U.S. politicians choose to pit U.S. citizens and illegal aliens against each other for votes and profits from cheap labor.
But, then … what does the majority of voters expect, when their politicians are repeatedly rewarded with 90% re-election rates?
At any rate, the majority of voters have the government that they elect, and re-elect, … , and re-elect, at least, possibly, until repeatedly rewarding failure and FOR-SALE, incompetent, arrogant, and corrupt incumbent politicians with perpetual re-election finally becomes too painful.

Soonest we get the 2nd amnesty behind us we will see a push to move the southern border, relative to immigration, from the US to southern Mexico.

I just don’t see the benefit to a ‘new world order’ or to harmonize the world so that a hamburger can be shipped from China to New York and arrive still warm, etc. Where are we going, what’s the rush, etc? I like there being different cultures, languages, and so on …
Not fond of the fact that most terrorists acts will be perpetrated by US citizens from here on out. And, that falls right in line with all this scary stuff. The Corpocracy wants to ensure that the public feels generally threatened/scared so as to encourage them to ‘need’ gov’t. Like, people now ‘need’ armed guards in schools, or they ‘need’ more TSA agents. Let the flying public keep their knives and ‘scare’ the passengers, etc. Release the immigration felons and scare us even more, etc.
And, I do believe that around the end of the month we will be scared with another fiscal issue.
But, I believe it is being overdone and folks will begin to just ignore the scare tactics and slide on into the globalised world in ignorant bliss. People will soon come to ignore the federal debt and live with it, along with their kids/grandkids thru the coming decades in pretty much oblivion, IMO.
