COME INTO THE LIGHT

Now here’s a third party we don’t hear too much about.

Does this fit into 9thwave’s definition of a wholistic presidency?

Ommmmmmmmm.

The Light Party, huh? It’s much too new age-y for my tastes but they’re definitely coming from a happy place so more power to them. I particularly appreciate the “lighten up” message - that’s one we can all stand to hear as we enter the silly season. Doesn’t look like the site’s been updated in a while but I guess this kind of thinking transcends time, right?

I think I’ll stick with the Dems - although the site declares “everybody has already joined the Light Party, not everybody knows it yet.” So I guess, now that I know…oh never mind. I couldn’t join a party with such a slow-as-molasses Flash intro (circa 1997 I think so I should make allowances) or for having a party founder named Da Vid (nee Dolph Bruce Ornstein), an NYC-born/LI-bred, LSD-tripping, “former medical, now musical” doctor who’s way out there. BTW, he was a write-in candidate for President in 1992, losing to Bill Clinton due to “a limited budget,” he says. And they say politicians don’t have a sense of humor.

This Light Site has a lot of great links, though. I didn’t know there were so many grass roots organizations working together… I will have to do some researching. There may be more to this Light than reaches the eye.
