The War on Terrorism
Does the war on terror include shutting down the School of the Americas? For decades, the SOA has been the training center for the military leaders of right wing dictatorships throughout the world, but primarily in South and Central America. Graduates are known for their brutality and terror inducing tactics, particularly aggressively targeting innocent civilians to make examples of them. If we are serious about fighting terrorism, we should start by stopping funding for it.
