What Jerry & the Democrats Care About

Here’s what you need to know about the Democrats subpoena threat with regard to AG Barr’s release of the Mueller Report in mid-April. It’s entirely partisan. Here’s Morgan Chalfant and Olivia Beavers writing in The Hill (hardly a pro-Trump media outfit):

Democrats are desperate to get the report, particularly after the White House touted Barr’s principal findings of the 22-month probe as an exoneration of President Trump.

In other words, it's all about quickly launching a counter-narrative to offset AG Barr's 4-page summary which states that the report cleared Trump and his campaign of any collusion and found insufficient evidence to further investigate or charge Trump with obstruction of justice. Clearly something that Democrats in general and specifically, Nadler and company at the House Judiciary Committee cannot, will not, and shall not accept. Here's Chalfant and Beavers again:

"The Constitution charges Congress with holding the president accountable for alleged official misconduct," Nadler said at the outset of a meeting Wednesday before lawmakers approved the subpoena. "That job requires us to evaluate the evidence for ourselves -- not the attorney general's summary, not a substantially redacted synopsis, but the full report and the underlying evidence."

Imagine those words coming out of previous House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte. The reaction of course would have been: you'll get our secret agents and G-men killed! They will die in cafes in Vienna and Paris and Washington DC! Secrecy of sensitive material and informants is the basis for all our intelligence around the world!

And yes, Putin does kill people, mostly his own spies who flee to supposedly safe places like the UK and even America. But now the tables have turned and any concern for methods and informants is merely burying the truth that Mueller - with a budget of tens of millions of dollars and some of the nastiest, evil-genius prosecutors on the planet - was just plain unable to find.

So yes, let's release it all. I agree. Barr is a little too old-school for that, however, and actually does care about process and methods, having had a lot of experience precisely in or related to the job at Justice that he now holds. But I think redactions should be kept to an absolute minimum.

That will open up the likelihood of Nadler and his posse and a whole host of others re-litigating the facts as they see them, in order to come to the pre-ordained conclusion that Trump - by tweeting and by firing Comey are likely the main reasons but who knows what they'll use - yes indeed committed obstruction of justice.

But do it anyway. Open up that frickin' report for all of us to see. It's going to be leaked bit by bit anyway in an orchestrated strategy by Democrats along with their sympathizers in the media and in the intel communities and in various other government agencies. So get it all out, or as much as you can. And quickly.

As ranking member Doug Collins (R-Ga) said:

"There is no legislative purpose to these subpoenas, but there is a lesson. The chief and most fruitful charge of this committee is lawmaking, and no one waiting for immigration, criminal justice, or patent reform thinks it's fair to see these issues neglected in exchange for subpoenaing Hope Hicks."

This is where partisanship is leading us. Legislative process - all those abstruse rules meant to both obtain advantages but also reach some sort of consensus - is now a campaign weapon. And not much else. Yes, legislation does get done in the wings or at best over on stage left or on stage right, but enormous amounts of time, energy, and political capital are now spent in order to weaken the opposition's next electoral campaign and win back or maintain an electoral advantage.

Because the real law-making gets done in the halls and offices of the various and sundry government agencies who write the detailed rules and regulations. Congress itself is now an endless electoral campaign.

And Nadler's job is to damage Trump enough that he can't win in 2020. That's all Jerry and the Democrats care about.

Silly “Keeley”, just born yesterday, so you wouldn’t know that the Rublicans had control of all 3 branches of government until a couple of months ago, and could have done everything they wanted to do. What they wanted was to give money to their wealthiest donors, and not much else. So the Rublican party exists to transfer wealth to the wealthiest. The rest of this silly article is silly gossip. Also, being born yesterday, you wouldn’t know that the Enemy Of The People, Cahooter and Colluder, and Stochastic Terrorist Traitor has been campaigning continuously for many years, since he finds it profitable to make money off his stupid donors. I credit him though for stopping the Sinclair takeover of the Tribune, although he probably doesn’t know or remember that he did that. They’re still licking his boots anyway, while he’s thinking about his oranges in Germany. I would be interested in a bio of his grandmother Elizabeth Christ Drumpf, who didn’t like this country, but was lucky enough to have her husband kicked out of Germany before WW1. She started the real estate business with her husband’s whoremongering money from Seattle and the Klondike, after he died, with her little son Friedrice.

The strong renewal assumption states that at each arrival time and at each fixed time, the process must probabilistically restart, independent of the past. The first part of that assumption implies that is a sequence of independent, identically distributed variables. The second part of the assumption implies that if the first arrival has not occurred by time , then the time remaining until the arrival occurs must have the same distribution as the first arrival time itself. This is known as the memoryless property

Mueller was persuaded by Tr-mp’s lawyers not to interview him, because Tr-mp’s a moronidiotimbecile, or otherwise mentally incapacitated, or is not capable of telling the truth in any meaningful way, or remembering anything about the oranges of his father in Germany.

Do you have something against Trump, ohrealy?

Did anyone notice that Trump’s tax returns took a far back seat to Mueller’s investigation while it was going on? Not a word about his taxes since the election and then all of the sudden (after Barr’s summary is released) the smoking gun called Trump’s tax returns is the thing now.

Hmmm. You’d think they could come up with an original complaint. They must have been caught flat footed with what Mueller ended up with. A big… What did he say? A big NOTHINGBURGER!

I listened to President Obama, speaking in Germany, caution Democrat presidential nominees against the dangers of forming a “circular firing squad”.

Wow, I agree with Obama. These crazy folks are running hard to demonize each other. Some say an opposing candidate is not “black” enough, “gay” enough, “young” enough, or “liberal” enough. Some champion the “Green New Deal” but voted against it. Some are promising “reparations”.

“Reparations”, wow; what an act of desperation. The Dems are losing the “Black” and “Hispanic” vote and are bribing them with free money to stay in the party. I don’t believe many black or Hispanic folks will take the bribe over the good jobs that President Trump and Republicans have helped create.

Women are becoming uncomfortable with the Democrat demands for more easy, and late term abortions. They did not sign up for killing children.

Three-fourths of the nation are in favor of immigration and oppose illegal border crossing.

Some prominent Democrats are warning the Party of impending doom. Listen to Democrat Bob Kerrey, the former Nebraska senator and governor.

He says the first major delusion of his party is that “Americans long for a president who will ask us to pay more for the pleasure of increasing the role of the federal government in our lives (Green New Deal, wealth taxes and Medicare-for-all).”

The Dems’ second delusion, he says, “is that Americans were robbed of the truth when Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller and Attorney General William Barr concluded that President Trump did not collude with Russia in 2016.” He goes on to say there is no reason to think the full report will change the finding that Trump is an innocent man.

We will be in for an audible and visual treat come June when these “wanna-be” presidents begin taking aim and firing at each other.

“Collusion Delusion” is over, except for some idiots like Jerry Nadler is another hateful grave-digger, like Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, Maxine Waters, Robert Francis O’Rourke, etc.

Also, the top FBI officials who created the fake “Steele Dossier”, ran the Clinton investigation, and the Trump-Russia investigation, need to be held accountable (i.e. James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Jim Baker, Lisa Page, and Peter Strzok, of which all five have been fired, demoted or resigned and left the FBI; possibly other too, such as Clapper and Brenan).

While Jerry Nadler sent out his 81 document requests, he didn’t send letters to Christopher Steele (the guy who wrote the bogus dossier), or Glenn Simpson (the guy whose opposition research firm the Clinton campaign hired to put the dossier together). And perhaps we should know about the conversations between Simpson and Schiff when they secretly met in 2018 in Aspen, Colorado?

Here’s what most Democrats and similar ilk care about, and it’s working, and that is why the Democrats are doing the dozen+ things in that list.

Thanks for reminding us of all the twisted, criminal, and despicable actions performed by the Trump-haters. A day of reckoning is coming.

Rep. Devin Nunes sent eight criminal referrals to DOJ. Nunes said five of the referrals are related to lying to Congress, misleading Congress and leaking classified information.
The other referrals, Nunes said, are allegations of lying to the FISA court that approves foreign surveillance warrants, manipulating intelligence and what he described as a “global leak referral,” which Nunes said wasn’t tied to one individual.

Remember years ago the left on WatchBlog were so sure they were the superior race as far as running a country/world goes. You couldn’t get them to entertain an opposing view to save your soul.

This Mueller thing must have really knocked them for a loop! Only ohrealy and j2t2 have commented and they are few and far between. I’m looking forward to their return, but I don’t think they will have learned anything from this.

I wonder how Chelsea Handler feels being in the same category as Alex Jones. We should ask her.

And phx8 a few times.
No matter how many times they are proven wrong, they never admit it.
What does it mean when a person insists that the world is flat, and you show them a picture of the round earth from space, and they still insist that the earth is flat?
But, that’s a good thing, and I want to thank all three of them for being the gift that keeps on giving!

Well d.a.n. and Weary, we all know the old saying; “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, if his old tricks still work.”

At some point in their lives, our Liberal Pals received some kind of benefit from a Democrat politician. It may have been a leg up for a job in the union, rezoning, welfare, or a lighter jail term. It was such an experience that kindled in them a love for abuse of political power in government.

We can imagine that they yearn to once again elect corrupt politicians who will give them special treatment at the expense of others.

—but if you asked me: Would I use a gun to stop a murder? Yeah! Would I use a gun to stop a rape? Yeah! Would I use the threat of a gun to stop a robbery? Yeah, I think you kind of have to. Would I use a gun to protect our country and our way of life? Yeah!

Would I use a gun to build a library? No!

My Father had a library. He paid for it, every book. It’s mine now, available next to my library. Neither of us expected the public to buy books for our libraries.

Not only do public libraries hold a gun to the heads of property owners to buy books, they also decimate the book and video store market in their communities.

How would the history described in my 1963 version of The Encyclopedia Britannica be portrayed in the current versions available today?

Does your public library have a 1963 version of the Encyclopedia Britannica?

If not, what good is your public library?

History is being rewritten by every generation. Should we consider that normal?

I don’t think so. History is not a living document either.
