Jussie Smollett & Laughter in America

Jussie Smollett’s claim of a racist attack by supposed MAGA-attire-wearing or slogan-shouting nut jobs is now shredded. And while the media has mostly distanced itself from its own reporting as if this was a Hollywood thing to be apologized for by those stars and personalities who believed Jussie story, and has been in turn ridiculed by some in conservative media for its about face, we now have another hoax in the making, and the problem of what-to-do-with-this?

• Use it to attack the mostly left-of and really-frickin'-left-of-center media?
• Use the event to talk about how racism is still a huge problem in America, whatever the data actually shows?
• Use the event to talk about how it shows how in fact racism of this sort in America is much rarer than anyone would suppose reading the headlines on your favorite news-site or listening to the talking heads on cable news?
• Use it to talk about the intersectionality of technology, media, identity, racism, culture, politics, sport, and a few of your favorite shows on Netflix and thus show how brilliant a commentator you must in fact be?
• Use it to blame Trump?
• Use it to blame those who blame Trump?
• Use it to blame those who refuse to blame Trump and thereby perpetuate the evils that the attack on Smollett typifies, regardless of what actually happened?

Or we could do something that is practically a forbidden option in today's climate precisely because of all that raging intersectionality and righteous, red-guard-like denouncing of presumed past sins.

We could ask, "Why the hell did he do that?"

Which is what we would have done a decade or more ago. Maybe a couple of decades ago. And whatever the answers turn out to be we would have morbidly allowed our curiosity to pull us into the details of Jussie's reasons. He's a handsome, well-paid star in a hit show. We want to know!

But nowadays the head of the company that produced that shameless slogan to sell the National Enquirer is caught up in what may be a political scandal that could truly hurt the president and for me as an older white guy to even talk about Jussie Smollett from a purely aesthetic/gossipy perspective is itself classified as prejudicial if not downright racist by the crazed identity police.

As has been noted for some time by astute commentators, we've turned comedy into a dreary, daily (yes that's a pun, ha) political exercise in woke virtue-signaling and public-square shaming. There is no longer official approval for gossip even as it continues to get consumed in large amounts, especially in the guise of objective facts about the Russia probes.

But Lord, it would help if we got a little gossipy on Jussie because of this: people need to see successful figures - whether in entertainment, sports, politics or culture in general - fall on their tush and have a good public shaming to the sound of fans guffawing and then shed a few tears as they admit their guilt and do their time in media-purgatory before rising phoenix-like to reclaim their spot in the Happy Valley of dreams-come-true. With a deputized badge on their lapel that says, "I have suffered and been redeemed, and I can even make a few jokes about it."

But we have no time for that suddenly distant working-out of fame and redemption that runs deep in the nation's roots and probably always has even if its forms have evolved from the Salem village square in 18th century New England.

But we can't and we dare not merely laugh at Jussie and let him do some time in Shame City before he snags a bitter-sweet role in some film that reveals a deeper side a different angle a brilliant performance, nominations for Golden Globes and Oscars and a triumphant return.

No.

That's so yesteryear.

Because if a smirkish-smile on the face of a kid from a Kentucky Catholic school is enough to produce tweets wishing they were fed head-first into a wood-chipper, how can we shake our heads and merely laugh at Jussie? How can we smile at the two buff, body-building brothers from Nigeria? Who are desperately trying to keep the crazed politics in America at arm's length from their incipient careers as extras and hopefully something more from what we know of their statements? Good luck guys ...

We are forbidden to laugh, therefore, we can't forgive Jussie, especially if we don't delve Enquirer-like head-first into the lurid and likely exaggerated details of his life and of this particular and most curious episode in that life.
Because Jussie of course is still thought of as somehow a victim by most on the progressive side of things, regardless of the actual story. It could have happened to this gay black actor in America. It has happened to other gay black men. It therefore has its own truth. So the logic goes.

How can you laugh at that?

And therefore, how can you gently forgive whatever craziness motivated Smollett? And seen that craziness in your own far-from-perfect soul?

Of course, people are laughing gleefully, or maliciously, or just in a way that shows they're enjoying the absurdity of it all. But until that laughter is brought back into the public square, to the talk shows, and back on cable news and media sites around the web, we will remain without a key element of what makes community in our post-modern, tech-disruptive world a little more humane.

Genuine, empathetic laughter freed from the shackles of identity politics.

Average minds follow people.
Good minds follow events.
Great minds follow ideas.

Is there anything behind a person in this story? Apparently a gay black man falsely claimed he was assaulted. The man appears on a television show. Perhaps he is a celebrity? I have never heard of him or his show.

So why does this story even appear in the media? Is there an idea behind it?

As the article and the comments by RF & the link from kctim show, there is an idea behind this. The idea is that when minorities with histories of persecution make claims, they should be laughed at. People in a historical position of weakness, because of their gender or race or orientation, should not be believed when victimized by people in socially and economically superior positions. When a woman, or man, or black, or whatever, calls for equal protection under the law- when such a person calls for justice- the idea is that such a call should be ignored, or better yet, pointed at and jeered.

Are there such things as false reports of rape or assault? Yes. Somewhere between 2-10% of reported rapes and other assaults are false charges. That means somewhere between 90-98% are true. So we should approach such charges with caution; but the idea that they should be dismissed, or laughed at, as if demands for equal protection under the law are “antics,” reflects on those who laugh, not those who are being laughed at.

Phx8, this story only appeared in the leftist media because they are intent on pushing a false narrative. Just like with Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and the Covington kids, they only saw skin color and made themselves look foolish by jumping the gun.
The media, politicians, and special interest groups are the ones who are guilty of not approaching “such charges with caution.”

Those on the right didn’t start questioning this until after the facts started coming out, and they didn’t start mocking him until it was certain that he lied.

Instead of trying to create “ideas” to spin this gross injustice into nothing, perhaps it’s time to accept facts.

OMG, phx8! What is up with that!? You’re about 3 weeks too late for that type of hyperbole.

The Chicago police have sat through hours of video looking for evidence this guy was assaulted. They’ve looked at this issue with a fine tooth comb.

Now, because they’ve looked at the evidence, they are finding out this guy isn’t all that clean and pure as the wind driven snow. His 2 buddies are singing like canaries.

You really should be ashamed of yourself for trying to make this into a social grievance issue. Your comment is really a desperately pathetic excuse for opposition.

You are, AGAIN going to be wrong, phx8. If you get paid for the comment they should charge you a bullshit tax because it is just that, bullshit.

I really try to ignore stories like this one about some guy who made a false charge. Stories like this are obvious examples of attempts to distract.

There is really only one big story, and it is one of the biggest in the history of our country. The Russians attacked our election in 2016. It was a massive attack, a multi-pronged attack. It aimed to undermine American confidence in its elections, aggravate social divisions, weaken HRC, and put Donald Trump in the White House.

The Russians succeeded in their goals. They defeated us. Was that just a battle, or was that the war?

We already know Donald Trump’s campaign worked with the Russians. They colluded. They conspired. The Campaign Manager, Deputy Campaign Manager, National Security Advisor, a Foreign Policy Advisor, and more have pleaded guilty to felonies, or been tried and found guilty. They are going to jail.

And what was Trump’s role? At last count, more than dozen of Trump’s advisors had over 100 contacts with the Russians, and multiple meetings. Nearly all of them lied about it to the FBI. Trump lies constantly about virtually everything. Why did all his people lie about their contacts and meetings with the Russians?

Ever since, Trump has launched a sustained attack against the media and the Justice Department, including the FBI. The people at the top of the FBI- all Republicans- and most with experience in Russian counterintelligence and Russian mob prosecutions- have been attacked, smeared, and fired.

And I haven’t even mentioned the SDNY investigation, or the DOJ investigation into Maria Butina.

In 2015 Trump spoke at a conference. Hands were raised, and he called on a person in the crowd. That person, the first to be asked a question, was Maria Butina. How did Trump know to call on a Russian spy? And why did he answer “”I believe I would get along very nicely with Putin, OK?”

When Russia attacked the 2016 elections, Trump said nothing. Not only did he say nothing to defend the United
States, he aided and abetted the attack, insisting that it was not happening, that we should disbelieve American intelligence, and again and again, “I love Wikileaks.”

Trump is treason. And the day of reckoning for the crooks and traitors draws near.

When Russia attacked the 2016 elections, the sitting president Obama, knew and did nothing.

The Mueller report will soon be in the hands of the attorney general. Hopefully, much or all of it, will be released to the public. We will find no charges against President Trump.

Disappointed, our Liberal Loonies will no doubt attack Mueller for covering up what phx8 thinks he knows to be true.

It must be truly embarrassing for phx8 who, for nearly two years, has been printing comments charging President Trump with treason, and no such evidence has been found. But, we understand that one can not embarrass those who close their minds to truth.

Most of us have been laughing at the ridiculous comments concerning Trump and Russian collusion for months. We imagine phx8 simply likes attention, and will do most anything to get it.

phx8 wrote the following nonsense: The idea is that when minorities with histories of persecution make claims, they should be laughed at. When a woman, or man, or black, or whatever, calls for equal protection under the law- when such a person calls for justice- the idea is that such a call should be ignored, or better yet, pointed at and jeered.
There’s no mystery here. phx8 is always demonstrating his racist motives, as phx8 does H E R E repeatedly. These comments by phx8 denigrates white people 13 times, proving that phx8 is a racist, dislikes (and/or hates) white people, which explains why phx8 is now making excuses for Jussie Smollett’s racist scheme to make white people (and Trump supporters) look bad (i.e. Smollett falsely claimed he was assaulted by two men, that made racist, MAGA related (political), and homophobic statements, and put a rope around his neck; but the facts thus far show that Jussie Smollett paid the two men $3,500 to stage the incident).
Of course, Jussie Smollett is innocent until proven guilty, so he deserves a trial, but it looks bad; it looks like a slam-dunk, because there is such overwhelming evidence (i.e. the $3,500 payment from Smollet to the two men, the confessions from the two men that Jussie Smollett hired them, video surveillance, etc.).

But, it is not at all surprising that socialist/leftist extremists will try to defend and rationalize such behavior.

But, that’s what socialist/leftist extremists do, much like phx8, j2t2, and Ed O’hrealy do regularly, because their many comments reveal repeatedly, that they are motivated by their deep-rooted hate and racism.

Many thanks to phx8, j2t2, and Ed O’hrealy for being the gifts that keep on giving! Please keep up the good work!

Now, we can add Jussie Smollett to the list, eh? Of course, after he is most likely to be convicted.

Also, Jussie Smollett mailed himself a letter that contained letters cut out from magazines to create “racial and homophobic threats” towards himself (i.e. Smollett).
During a search of the Osundairo brothers’ (who staged the fake attack on Smollett) home last week, Chicagp Police Deptartment reportedly found and took a “magazine, and a wallet with stamps and a piece of paper/writing.”
According to CBS Chicago, the FBI is now handling the probe into the letter.

HHMMMmmm… . IF you’re going to send your self a fraudulent letter with letters cut out of magazines, it might be a good idea to get rid of the magazines before you mail the letter, eh?

The Mueller Investigation is supposed to wind up very shortly. A few possible charges:

Obstruction of justice depends on a person’s intent — what legal experts often call “corrupt intent.”

Jan. 27, 2017, T-ump asked for a pledge of “loyalty” from James Comey, then the F.B.I. director, who was overseeing the investigation of the Trump campaign.

Feb. 14, Tr-mp directed several other officials to leave the Oval Office so he could speak privately with Comey. He then told Comey to “let this go,” referring to the investigation of Michael Flynn, who had resigned the previous day as Tr-mp’s national security adviser.

March 22, Tr-mp directed several other officials to leave a White House briefing so he could speak privately with Daniel Coats, the director of national intelligence, and Mike Pompeo, the C.I.A. director. Tr-mp asked them to persuade Comey to back off investigating Flynn.

March and April, Tr-mp told Comey in phone calls that he wanted Comey to lift the ”cloud” of the investigation.
Sign up for Frank Bruni’s newsletter

May 9, Tr-mp fired Comey as F.B.I. director. On May 10, Tr-mp told Russian officials that the firing had “taken off” the “great pressure” of the Russia investigation. On May 11, he told NBC News that the firing was because of “this Russia thing.”

May 17, shortly after hearing that the Justice Department had appointed Mueller to take over the Russia investigation, Tr-mp berated Jeff Sessions, the attorney general. The appointment had caused the administration again to lose control over the investigation, and Tr-mp accused Sessions of “disloyalty.”

In June, Tr-mp explored several options to retake control. At one point, he ordered the firing of Mueller, before the White House counsel resisted.

July 8, aboard Air Force One, Tr-mp helped draft a false public statement for his son, Donald Tr-mp Jr. The statement claimed that a 2016 meeting with a Russian lawyer was about adoption policy. Tr-mp Jr. later acknowledged that the meeting was to discuss damaging information the Russian government had about Hillary Clinton.

July 26, in a tweet, Tr-mp called for the firing of Andrew McCabe, the F.B.I.’s deputy director, a potential corroborating witness for Comey’s conversations with Tr-mp. The tweet was part of Tr-mp’s efforts, discussed with White House aides, to discredit F.B.I. official

Many instances, Tr-mp (and this quotation comes from the Nixon article of impeachment) “made false or misleading public statements for the purpose of deceiving the people of the United States.” Among other things, Tr-mp repeatedly made untruthful statements about American intelligence agencies’ conclusions regarding Russia’s role in the 2016 election.

https://oversight.house.gov/news/press-releases/multiple-whistleblowers-raise-grave-concerns-with-white-house-efforts-to

Washington, D.C. (Feb. 19, 2019)—Today, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, the Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, issued an interim staff report after multiple whistleblowers came forward to warn about efforts inside the White House to rush the transfer of highly sensitive U.S. nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia in potential violation of the Atomic Energy Act and without review by Congress as required by law—efforts that may be ongoing to this day. The report states:

“The whistleblowers who came forward have expressed significant concerns about the potential procedural and legal violations connected with rushing through a plan to transfer nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia. They have warned of conflicts of interest among top White House advisers that could implicate federal criminal statutes. They have also warned about a working environment inside the White House marked by chaos, dysfunction, and backbiting. And they have warned about political appointees ignoring directives from top ethics advisors at the White House who repeatedly and unsuccessfully ordered senior Trump Administration officials to halt their efforts.”

The report warns that that White House efforts to transfer sensitive U.S. nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia may be accelerating after meetings last week at the White House and ahead of a planned visit to Saudi Arabia by the President’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner

This seems to be a big deal, but for the life of me I can’t see anything wrong with what Jr. did here. What happened to freedom of association? What happened to freedom of speech?

Some have said it’s illegal to gather intelligence on opposition candidates. I can hardly believe congress passed and any president signed a law that says it is illegal to gather intelligence about an opposing candidate. Not in a million years will I believe that happened.

So looking the other way when the WP reporter was butchered by thugs working for the Saudi crown prince was more than it appeared? Now we are rewarding the Saudi’s with sensitive nuclear technology! I wonder what Putin is up to ? This could be a real national emergency and no one on the right wants to hear about it!

So, in a topic about another racist leftist perpetrating a hoax, a media trying to create a narrative that doesn’t actually exist, all with hopes of bringing harm and silencing those who disagree with them, we get nothing but nonsense like:

Creating nonsensical ‘ideas’ to shift blame onto the right.
Spreading wishful theories about President Trump colluding with the Russians.
Screaming climate change.
Boycott Starbucks.
Calling for the death of those who dare disagree with leftists.
A cut and paste on treason.
A timeline of wishful possibilities.
Partisan opinions about Saudi Arabia.
A link to a wannabe domestic terrorist that was just caught.
Bringing up the murder of a Saudi columnist by the Saudis, in Turkey.

I haven’t seen this much deflection from leftists since classified emails were found on Hillary’s personal server.

It makes me wonder how long they’ve been able to get away with this. Democratics have been a dominant party in this country for all of it’s history. Is this how they stay in power?

Let’s take a look at what a major newspaper owner said about Cannabis before it became illegal.

His counterpart in the anti-marihuana propaganda machine was William Randolph Hearst, an ultra powerful monopolistic newspaper owner. By all accounts Hearst was a megalomaniac and completely obsessed with the same causes as Aslinger – vilifying marihuana and forwarding his fiercely racist beliefs. In fact, Hearst favored fascists like Mussolini and often supported the Nazis in his papers. He disseminated more ridiculous stories about the dark, crude races using marihuana to sleep with white women and kill white children, of course without bothering to include any facts or truths other than ones he made up. The term “yellow journalism” was actually coined to describe Hearst’s smear tactics.

Let’s take a trip in the way-back machine, Mr. Peabody!

Who was dominating the political power in the U.S. during this mage hoax, and passed The Marihuana Tax Act of 1937?
Hmmm?

Would they have been able to do it without “yellow journalism”? How many other issues have the Democratics shoved down the throats of the American people using this abhorrent tactic. How many people have they destroyed using the power of the press?

It is unusual isn’t it kctim. But we are just taking lessons from the right wingers here on WB. So I, at least, felt the urge to say “well they did it too” and “but the repubs are more despicable than the dems” and “look, over there” and you have to believe it I said it so many times” just because D. repeats the same thing so many times in each and every thread. Then Royal with his ” you guys are to dumb to notice” schtick causes me to want to respond with “well they are to dumb to notice” but you did pick up on it, just like we do.

Yeah I now attacking the messengers, who would have thought.

Na J2, you guys just don’t want to debate the facts and negative results that destroy the false narratives you have created.
In this case, it’s the lie that white supremacy is running rampant across the nation. Of course, leftists can’t prove this to be true, so they always try to control the narrative by jumping in head first before any facts are known. And when it doesn’t pan out, as is usually the case, they lie, deny and deflect until the next opportunity comes about.

I have not seen so many Democrats (and similar ilk) sink so low as to blatantly and despicably encourage and use illegal immigration to acquire more votes, money, and power (via decennial census) since many Democrats:
  • (1) sought to continue slavery (source: www.britannica.com/topic/Democratic-Party);
  • (2) created the KKK (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan);
  • (3) created Jim Crow laws (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Crow_laws);
  • (4) and imposed racial segregation (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Democrats).

Kctim, you can’t ignore the record high number of right wing hate groups active today. They have increased in numbers and they have been more active since Trump won the presidency. He was their an after all. Running rampant, I don’t know who said that; but they are stirring the pot. Lets wait until summer when they crawl back out from under their rocks and see what they have planned.

As far as Smollett what exactly is their to debate? He is going to jail or he is in jail as we speak. I didn’t see anyone trying to say he doesn’t deserve this for his actions. What is the issue you want to debate? When you think about it this is rather small potatoes when you see the other news, such as Trump selling nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia on the down low. Or the Buffoon calling the NYP an enemy of the people. Or the NC election fraud by repubs this past election cycle. Or Putin challenging Trump to another Cuban missile crisis.

D., good job keeping up on the Big Lie. It’s all about the repetition isn’t it. Goebbels would be so proud of your propaganda.

J2, the SPLC has become nothing more than an activist group that labels everybody that doesn’t fall for the social justice and PC nonsense as hate groups. Ever search for antifa on the SPLC website?
Please don’t fall for their propaganda.
Support traditional marriage? Hate group. Believe there are only two genders? Hate group. Tired of watching antifa attack innocent people? Hate group. Support more effective border security? Hate group.
It’s nothing more than ridiculous partisan fear-mongering.

Yes, there are actual hate groups, and yes, because of all this social justice and PC nonsense, there are probably a few more added each year. People don’t dispute that. What they do dispute though, is that those groups are anything more than a bunch or marginalized yahoos who can barely organize a national ‘rally’ of more than 20-30 people.

The issue to debate with Smollett is the same issue as with Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, the Covington kids etc… Why is it ok that the media pushes the ‘white supremacy’ false narrative before knowing any of the facts? And why is it ok that they keep perpetrating that false narrative when they are proven wrong?

It’s not OK, but that is the type of people they are (very much like j2t2, phx8, and Ed O’hrealy), who are now willing to sink to all-time new lows for more power via more votes and money.
Trying to reason with them is truly pointless. The only good part about their rhetoric is that it reveals, for all to see, how depraved they really are (though, they don’t get that at all; not one bit).
They are members of the party that contains many Democrats (and similar ilk) that:
  • (1) are despicably pitting U.S. citizens and illegal immigrants against each other for more votes, money, and power;
  • (2) sought to continue slavery (source: www.britannica.com/topic/Democratic-Party);
  • (3) created the KKK (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan);
  • (4) created Jim Crow laws (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Crow_laws);
  • (5) and imposed racial segregation (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Democrats).
The goal of many Democrats (and similar ilk) is to:
  • (01) despicably pit U.S. citizens and illegal immigrants against each other for votes, by pandering to illegal immigrants for 30+ years, for more votes (via more representation in the House, via more U.S. House representatives, via apportionment of representatives (and more electoral votes, and more federal funding), based on population, based on the decennial CENSUS, which does NOT verify U.S. citizenship);
  • (02) are also fighting against a [x]citizenship check-box on decennial CENSUS;
  • (03) lie about level of crime by illegal immigrants, and refuse to report 2,000 homicides per year by criminal non-citizens (source: DHS, GAO, cis.org);
  • (04) lie about the cost of massive illegal (and legal) immigration (about $300 Billion per year in net losses; sources: www.washingtontimes.com ; www.youtube.com/watch?v=msGVs4lFDw4 );
  • (05) are calling for open borders;
  • (06) are calling to abolish I.C.E.;
  • (07) want another amnesty, like the shamnesty of 1986;
  • (08) refuse requirement for employers to use eVerify;
  • (09) want to give illegal immigrants drivers’ licenses, and also automatically register them to vote at the same time; and then Democrats ignore many tens of thousands of instances of voter fraud by illegal immigrants (source: site2data.com/voting1.html);
  • (10) want more mayors like Libby Schaaf, who warns illegal immigrants before an ICE raid to arrest criminal illegal immigrants;
  • (11) want more sanctuary cities and states, where Democrats (and A.G. Xavier Becerra) passed sanctuary city and state laws that protect criminal non-citizens (e.g. an illegal immigrant, Garcia Zarate (already deported 5 times) can shoot and murder Kate Steinle, and be acquitted for that murder);
  • (12) want to abolish or restrict 2nd Amendment rights, and say it is worth it “even if it saves only ONE life”, but conveniently ignore 2,000 homicides per year by criminal non-citizens;
So, good luck trying to persuade such people that those 12 things above are not only not OK, but despicable too.
However, these socialist/leftist extremists do serve a valuable purpose, which is to demonstrate the depth of their depravity for all to see. Fortunately, most voters are most likely to look at those 12 things above, and much of what the Democrat party has become, and recognize that it has sunk to new lows. That’s not mere opinion; that is based on the 12 facts above. Posted by: d.a.n at February 21, 2019 4:56 PM

Congratulations to those who guessed Maxine Waters as the author of the horrendous “border wall” quote I posted above. It is difficult to imagine a more hate filled person that her.

It is fun to watch and listen to the “wanna-be” president candidates following Bernie Sanders lead from 2016. Bernie is the first serious presidential candidate to openly call for socialism in the United States. He is too fearful of being ridiculed to form an actual Socialist Political Party. So he hides behind, and rides the skirts of, the nearly socialist Democrat party.

Does anyone care that the Democrat Party is quickly becoming the party of Socialism? Do mainstream Democrats care?

The Democrat Party is the party of the KKK, the party of racial injustice, the party of discrimination, and the party of hate. Many in the Democrat Party were great fans and supporters of the defunct Soviet Union. Many heralded Fidel Castro and other tyrannical butchers as saviors.

We should not be surprised that this same party now seems to be embracing socialism and perhaps communism. Thankfully, the American people have had a great awakening the past two years. Another two years will reveal just how corrupt, harmful, deceitful, and UN-American this political conglomeration has become.

Why kctim? Corporate media needs to be first and they need to run stories that will make them money. What they actually reported was this Smollett guy was a victim of an attack based upon what he said. What do you think they should have done, not reported anything until…when? Now after a thorough police investigation or after the trial next year? That would be foolish. Did the right wing media wait on any of the Clinton false narratives? Why do they,and propagandist like D., continue to perpetrate falsehoods on Clinton ?

And why is it ok that they keep perpetrating that false narrative when they are proven wrong?

Who is doing that? Other than the right wing media with their falsehoods? Are you suggesting that because many media outlets reported the story as Smollett described it they shouldn’t have said anything about the hate groups that do this kind of stuff?

But guys one man wanting to manipulate the media and others for personal gain shouldn’t be a story. I mean Trump…. does it all the time with false narratives tweeted out as if they were real. To bad the Chicago police couldn’t investigate him.

j2t2 wrote: Why do they,and propagandist like D., continue to perpetrate falsehoods on Clinton ?
What falsehoods?
  • Hillary Clinton’s illegal hackable amateur server and emailing of classified information?
  • Or the FBI investigation found that 110 messages contained information that was classified at the time it was sent?
  • Or that is a crime that, beyond a shadow of a doubt, committed by Hillary Clinton?
  • Or that James Comey, Loretta Lynch, and others in the DOJ and FBI protected Hillary from being indicted for those crimes?
  • Or, lied about youtubevideo as the cause of attacks in Benghazi, Libya; Hillary lied to the victims’ families; Hillary was caught red-handed lying before Congress about Benghazi during that senate committee. It was discovered that Hillary had sent an email to her daughter explaining the people in Benghazi had been killed by Al Qaida-like terrorists. Hillary wrote: “Hey, this attack at Benghazi was caused by Al Qaida-like elements”. Yet, Hillary and Susan Rice went all over saying it was due to a offensive video (Source: www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5DEROUA568)?
  • Or, Hillary Clinton seized control of the Democratic National Committee which used Pakistani programmers who are now being prosecuted, and Wikileaks had a field day with the classified information that was exposed to our rivals (i.e. Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, Iranians, etc.) ?
  • Or, Hillary’s camp created and paid for the infamous “Steele Dossier” which claims that President Trump committed collusion with the Russian government, and other lies? This classic frame-up is still going on as Hillary smiles at her accusers; this truly amounts to high-tech treason, and the fake news press, corrupt FBI, DOJ, and other officials did unbelievable things covering for Hillary, and continue to cover for Hillary, and many were working under the assumption that she would become the next U.S. president;?
  • And more …
j2t2 wrote: To[o] bad the Chicago police couldn’t investigate him.
The FBI, DOJ, and Congress have already been investigating Trump for over 2 years, and the IRS has audited Trump for the past 16 years.
