Adam Schiff - The Milquetoast Coyote from California

Adam Schiff is not on the trail, and of course he’s going to be firing up a bunch of investigations as soon as he takes the gavel of the House Intelligence Committee and it seems like one of his big plans is to somehow combine the Khashoggi affair with the emoluments clause. Yes, he’s going to try and link Trump’s hotel with what happened in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

Schiff spoke to The Washington Post's Greg Sargent, "We'll look at what the intelligence community assessments are at any given time. Then it will be quite clear whether the president is relying on the intelligence community and our best source of information or whether the president is representing something very different."

As if Trump is being hush hush about why he's not going whole hog on publicly criticizing the Saudis. And as if criminalizing foreign policy is Schiff's duty as chairman of the intel committee. And of course that brings up the hotel, "There are a whole set of potential financial conflicts of interest and emoluments problems that Congress will need to get to the bottom of."

Anything will do for Schiff who behaves as if he were on Mueller's team. In fact, one suspects Schiff would love to be on Mueller's team and likely communicates with them on a far more regular basis than the media reports. And that means that as long as Schiff has the gavel, Russian collusion will not die as a story or as a means of impeachment. No matter the lack of evidence, because there's always another rabbit hole to go chasing down. Schiff said, "The president has sought to keep that off limits, but if that's the leverage Russians pose that's a real threat to our country."

The "that" Schiff is referring to is supposed financial ties between President Trump and the Russians. As in Trump owing money to Russian banks or oligarchs and therefore giving Putin leverage over him.

So tie Russian money (never mind that Russian money actually goes to support Iran and Syria in direct opposition to Saudi influence) and Saudi brutality and shadowy, as well as hinted-at financial connections between the President and Putin together, and maybe you can expand and revive the Mueller probe just as it was in danger of winding down and releasing a final report.

Schiff has one goal in mind. To impeach Trump. And failing that, to do enough damage by stoking the Russian collusion story until 2020 rolls around to ensure that the President remains a one-term president. And he knows perfectly well that he doesn't need real evidence to keep the stories going. Just a hint of plausibility will keep much of the media frantically busy circulating these dubious theories. Because most of them also still want Trump gone by practically any means possible.

Stay tuned because there will no avoiding the milquetoast coyote from California this upcoming Congress.

Well Keeley, one can hope that “Schiffty” and his Democrat colleagues in the House will ignore the platform on which they ran, and spend the next two years making fools of themselves turning over old dirt with a new shovel.

Frankly, I don’t expect much legislation to get thru the divided congress to the president’s desk. President Trump will run in 2020 against a “do-nothing” congress and win while recapturing the House and keeping the Senate.

Adam Schiff is a such a slimy, lying, leaking, weasel.

Schiff has a talent for answering questions with smooth, soft-spoken, circular, nonsensical, hypocritical arguments and rhetoric; like a true master-parasite.

Sarah Sanders got it right at a press meeting on 4-MAY-2018:

    “We here at the White House try never to be concerned with anything dealing with Adam Schiff.”

Schiff will concentrate on three areas: 1) The Khashoggi murder and possible Trump financial ties to Saudi Arabia, 2) Possible compromise Trump through Russian financing, and 3) Interference in the Mueller probe by the Acting AG and Trump.

Trump has refused to accept the assessment of US intelligence (and the intelligence of our allies) that MSB approved of the murder. Three times Trump repeated Saudi denials, even when the Saudi story was utterly implausible. Why? In July 2015 Trump said: “Saudi Arabia, I get along with all of them. They buy apartments from me. They spend $40 million, $50 million. Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much.” In a tweet last month Trump said he has “no financial interests in Saudi Arabia.” So which is it? Why does Trump keep making up numbers about the size of Saudi arms deals, and the number of people that will be employed as a result? Is this related to the inexplicable plunge in oil prices into the $50’s? Something is very wrong here. Schiff will investigate this.

Schiff will also investigate whether Russia has compromised
Trump through financial dealings. The Mueller probe may already have this information. The House Judiciary Committee will have his taxes.

The last area of major concern will be the Acting AG, Whitaker. It is possible Whitaker will conceal indictments and reports from the Mueller investigation, or otherwise restrict the investigation. Schiff will serve as a backstop. He can bring anything from the Mueller investigation before the Committee. Whitaker may be able to shutdown the investigation and prevent the public from finding out- for a while- but eventually, this will out.

I believe Whitaker will be first on deck for testimony. Why has he not recused himself, after making public statements last year attacking the probe? That is an appearance of conflict of interest, and grounds for recusal. Why has he not recused himself, when he represented Sam Clovis as a witness for the probe? That is a conflict of interest, and grounds for recusal. And, he was the sole employee of his organization, FACT. Dark money funded him. Who gave him the $1.2 million? Why? Is this part of his payoff for obstructing justice?

Whitaker was deeply involved in a scam. That company was already under investigation by the FBI. Now Whitaker will be in charge of the FBI. What will happen with that investigation? Is part of the deal for obstructing justice the reward of becoming AG and a promise of a pardon by Trump, if needed, in exchange for quashing Mueller?

phx8, Do you write that stuff yourself, or copy it from some other journalist or article somewhere?

It is starting to look a lot like you, Adam Schiff, other Democrats, and similar ilk are just making up crap, no matter whether it is true or not.

Great, more Russia! Russia! Russia! Russia! Russia! Russia! Russia! Russia! Russia! Russia!

Now, Saudi! Saudi! Saudi! Saudi! Saudi! Saudi! Saudi! Saudi! Saudi! Saudi!

Maybe IF Mueller has 6 more years, he might find an impeachable offense, eh?

Now, Impeachment! Impeachment! Impeachment! Impeachment! Impeachment! Impeachment! Impeachment!

Regarding the Saudi Crown Prince, IF the CIA has credible evidence that Saudi Crown Prince ordered the murder of Khashoggi, then I think it would be justifiable to halt any arms sales to Saudi Arabia, stop buying Saudi oil (since The U.S. exported 3.28 times more petroleum (in 2017) than it is imported from Saudi Arabia), and impose more sanctions against Saudi Arabia. Right? At least, until (which isn’t likely) the Saudi Crown Prince is punished.

However, IF the U.S. is going to treat Saudi Arabia that way, shouldn’t the U.S. be consistent, and also treat certain other countries the same way, IF not more harshly (i.e. China, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Turkey, Russia, Myanmar, and some other countries), that are also guilty of similar and far, far, far worse human violations? What (exactly) do you suggest?

Also, what about the 15 of the 19 hijackers from Saudi Arabia that (on 11-SEP-2001), in which 19 illegal immigrants killed 2,996 people, and more than 6,000 others injured. The immediate deaths included 265 on the four planes (including the terrorists), 2,606 in the World Trade Center and in the surrounding area, and 125 at the Pentagon. The attacks were the deadliest terrorist act in world history, and the most devastating foreign attack on United States soil since the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. As of September 28, 2008, a total of over 33,000 police officers, firefighters, responders, and community members have been treated for injuries and sickness related to the 9/11 attacks in New York City, including respiratory conditions, mental health problems like PTSD and depression, gastrointestinal conditions, and at least 4,166 cases of cancer; according to one advocacy group “more cops have died of illness linked to the attack than had perished in it”. The 19 perpetrators of 11-SEP-2001 were illegal immigrants, 18 of the 19 terrorist hijackers on 11-SEP-2001 possessed state-issued and/or counterfeit driver’s licenses or ID cards and ALL 19 had obtained Social Security numbers. 15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, and the others were from the United Arab Emirates(2), Egypt(1), and Lebanon(1). All 19 were affiliated with Al-Qaeda (a radical Sunni Muslim organization dedicated to the elimination of a Western presence in Arab countries and militantly opposed to Western foreign policy: founded by Osama bin Laden in 1988). The big question is, did the Saudi Arabian government have anything to do with the attacks on 11-SEP-2001?

Also, should the U.S. consider what might happen in the already-destabilized Middle East if Saudi Arabia is significantly weakened and/or destabilized? Especially with Iran sponsering terrorism all over the region? Will other nations cooperate in imposing sanctions against Saudi Arabia? What if China, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Turkey, Russia, Myanmar, Iran, N. Korea, and some other countries not only choose not to go along, but all team up with Saudi Arabie (against the U.S.A)?

Be careful not to cut OFF your nose to spite your face (i.e. pursuing revenge or justice in a way that would damage the U.S., and also possibly bring harm to many other nations in a region that is also already ustable).

d.a.n.,
“… IF the CIA has credible evidence that Saudi Crown Prince ordered the murder of Khashoggi, then I think it would be justifiable to halt any arms sales to Saudi Arabia, stop buying Saudi oil… and impose more sanctions… until (which isn’t likely) the Saudi Crown Prince is punished.”

The United States needs to stand for its principles- for liberty, freedom, and human rights. We need to stand up for democracy, and protect the free press & journalists. However, the Trump foreign policy seems to be focused only on money. A principled stand and a good outcome does not have to involve cataclysmic all- or-nothing punishments. Sanctions can be introduced and ramped up. Arms deals can be delayed or canceled, first one, then two, until a satisfactory outcome is reached. The best outcome for the US would be to pressure the King to replace MSB with one of the other princes waiting in the wings.

This is not the first time Trump has ignored US Intelligence and sided with an authoritarian telling lies. Trump has supported each of the evolving lies told by the Saudis, no matter how implausible. Why?

“IF the U.S. is going to treat Saudi Arabia that way, shouldn’t the U.S. be consistent, and also treat certain other countries the same way, IF not more harshly (i.e. China, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Turkey, Russia, Myanmar…”

The US and Saudi Arabia have shared interests, just as the US and China, and the US and Russia have shared interests. The Saudis have oil and need money. We have $ and need oil. The Saudis are NOT good allies. When it comes to terrorism, they are FAR worse than Iran, as the 9/11 attack demonstrated. Virtually every attack on Americans has been by Sunni extremists, NOT Shias. The exception usually results from the US imposing its rule upon Shia populations in places like Iraq and southern Lebanon.

Personally, I see no reason to take the side of the Saudi Arabian Sunnis against Iranian Shias, or vice versa. Selling weapons to either side is madness.

Boom.

We may never get to the Khashoggi investigation. Today the Guardian reported Manafort met with Julian Assange in the Ecuadorian Embassy in March 2016. Manafort lied repeatedly to the Mueller investigation and his plea bargain will be revoked.

It appears this was intended to be a delaying tactic, that Manafort was trying to mislead the FBI, knowing that Trump would come through with a pardon.

Believe in coincidences? Trump submitted his written answers to questions about collusion the other day. Now this comes out. The Mueller team has Trump and Manafort dead to rights. The Trump Campaign worked with a non-state intelligence agency hostile to the US, one that often worked with Russia, to undermine the US election and place our adversary’s preferred candidate in the White House. The Trump campaign took stolen material, a crime, obtained by the Russians through cyber warfare and funneled through at least one cut out, to Wikileaks. Yet another tough day for traitors and crooks.

Jerome Corsi is squealing like a stuck pig. Tsk tsk. Shouldn’t lie to the FBI, Jerome. Corsi may be the cut out, or one of the cut outs, between the Russians, Wikileaks, and Trump.

All law breakers should be held accountable.

I wonder what an investigation would find if the Clinton Foundation, and many people in the Obama administration (IRS, FBI, DOJ, VA, DNC, Robert Menendez, Lois Lerner, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, etc., etc., etc.) were investigated the same way Mueller is investigating the current administration?

I suppose phx8 and similar ilk believe Democrats are more honest than Republicans?

Think again. It is more likely that Democrats are better at getting away with violations, because they have the majority of the Main Stream Media in their pocket.
For example (during the Obama Administration from 2009 to 2016):

  • IRS targeting conservatives under Obama and Lois Lerner watch; Obama lied that no laws were violated: “There is not a scintilla of corruption in my administration”; Lois Lerner, head of the IRS Office of Exempt Organizations, stated she had not done anything wrong and then took the Fifth before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Lerner retired (with pension) in 2013 after an internal investigation found that she neglected her duties and was going to call for her ouster. Joseph H. Grant, commissioner of the IRS Tax-exempt and Government Entities division, resigned (with pension) on May 16, 2013. ; but Obama, nor Lois Lerner or Joseph Grant were ever held accountable;
  • VA’s deadly secret waiting lists for veterans; The Secretary of Veterans Affairs, General Eric Shinseki, voluntarily resigned (with pension), but no one was never held accountable;
  • Hillary Clinton’s illegal hackable amateur server and emailing of classified information; the FBI investigation found that 110 messages contained information that was classified at the time it was sent; but Hillary Clinton was never held accountable;
  • Hillary Clinton seized control of the Democratic National Committee which used Pakistani programmers who are now being prosecuted, and Wikileaks had a field day with the classified information that was exposed to our rivals (i.e. Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, Iranians, etc.); but Hillary was never held accountable;
  • Hillary’s camp created and paid for the infamous fictitious “Steele Dossier” which claims that President Trump committed collusion with the Russian government. This classic frame-up is still going on as she smiles at her accusers; but Hillary was never held accountable; this truly amounts to high-tech treason, and the fake news press continues to cover for Hillary, and corrupt FBI, DOJ, and other officials did unbelievable things covering for Hillary, by working under the assumption that she would become the next U.S. president; but Hillary, nor anyone else was ever held accountable;
  • Terence Flynn, an appointee of Barack Obama to the National Labor Relations Board, resigned (with pension) in May 2012 after being accused of serious ethical violations by leaking information to the National Association of Manufacturers; no one was ever held accountable;
  • Martha N. Johnson (D), head of the General Services Administration, fired two top GSA officials and then resigned herself (with pension) after it was revealed that $822,000 had been spent in Las Vegas on a 4-day training conference for 300 GSA employees; no one was ever held accountable;
  • David Petraeus resigned (with pension) as Director of the CIA after admitting having a s*xual relationship with his biographer, pledd guilty to a misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified materials, in which he was given a two-year probation period and a fine of $100,000; so, he got off easy, but it was very harsh compared to the very same type, but more numerous crimes by Hillary Clinton;
  • Comey and others in FBI and DOJ that ignored Hillary Clinton’s violations; but was never held accountable (except Comey was fired by Trump);
  • Fast and Furious obstruction by Eric Holder on gunwalking-program; Eric Holder’s “Fast and Furious” caper caused the murder of hundreds of Mexican citizens and some US border patrol officers with weapons supplied by the US government. Eric Holder was found to be in “Contempt of Congress”, but Eric Holder lost no sleep about it, and Eric Holder was never held accountable;
  • Hillary Clinton lying about video as cause of attacks in Benghazi, Lybia; but was never held accountable;
  • Susan Rice lying about video as cause of attacks in Benghazi, Lybia; but was never held accountable;
  • Obama’s Solyndra scam, which was a phony solar energy scheme which cost out tax payers $500 million. According to the magazine The New American: “the administration funneled billions of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of wealthy Democrats and Obama supporters, who in turn gave some of the cash back via campaign contributions. More than 75 percent of the over $20 billion went to Obama financial backers, according to Department of Energy figures analyzed by researchers.”; but no one was ever held accountable;
  • The Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius was determined to be guilty of violating the Hatch Act by campaigning for the president in her official capacity; but Kathleen Sebelius was never held accountable;
  • Obama’s administration spun intelligence to suit his narrative. It was reported that 50 intelligence analysts said their reports on the Islamic State (who Obama called the JV team) had been watered-down to suit the White House’s spin, and that pressure to do so had come from senior military and intelligence officials; but no one was ever held accountable;
  • Democrats call for restricting or eliminating 2nd Amendment rights, and say it is worth it “even if it saves only ONE life”, but ignore the U.S. citizens (about 1000 per year; exact numbers are difficult to find) killed by illegal immigrants. 32% of everyone in federal prison is an illegal immigrant (total illegal immigrant population in prison in 2003 was over 1.47 Million according to GAO Report GAO-05-646R); Many Democrats and others on the left are calling for the abolishment of I.C.E., and many want open borders; but no one was ever held accountable for that hypocrisy and refusal to secure the U.S. borders;
  • Katherine Archuleta, Director of the Office of Personnel Management, resigned (with pension) on July 10, 2015, after cyber intrusions allowed the theft of data concerning 22 million people, some of whom had applied for sensitive security clearances.
  • Chaka Fattah (D-PA) from Pennsylvania’s 2nd district was found guilty on all 23 charges he faced, which included racketeering, money laundering and fraud. He was sentenced to 10 years and resigned from Congress on June 23, 2016;
  • Anthony Weiner (D-NY) from New York’s 9th congressional district resigned from Congress in June 2011 when the first of what would become multiple s*xting scandals were made public; it was also discovered later that Weiner had access to Hillary’s assistant’s notebook computer, which contained classified information that it should not have contained;
  • David Wu (D-OR) for Oregon’s 1st congressional district announced he would resign (with pension) from Congress, 4 days after a report that a young woman called his office complaining of an “unwanted s*xual encounter” with the congressman;
  • Jesse L. Jackson Jr. (D-IL) pleaded guilty to one felony count of fraud for using $750,000 of campaign money to buy personal items such as stuffed animals, elk heads and fur capes;
  • Laura Richardson (D-CA) was found guilty in 2012 on 7 counts of violating US House rules by improperly using her staff to campaign for her, destroying the evidence and tampering with witness testimony. The House Ethics Committee ordered Richardson to pay a fine of $10,000.
  • Robert Decheine (D) CoS to U.S. Representative Steve Rothman (D-NJ), was sentenced in 2011 to 18 months in prison for soliciting s*x from a minor;
  • Obama an his cronies were up to their necks in questionable business deals and may have distorted public policy to accommodate their profits; Obama and his administration would deem industries either destructive to the environment or exploitative for the financial and professional gain of his friends, including industries such as coal mining, offshore drilling, cash advance companies, and for-profit colleges,” wrote Katelyn Caralle of the Washington Examiner; but no one was ever held accountable;

One of the major reasons the Democrats get away with so much is because they have the Main Stream Media in their pocket, and Republicans are weak on pursuing law breakers. IF Democrats were properly investigated too, the list above would probably be much longer.

What an interesting comment by our Pal phx8. He doesn’t realize that the principles he mentioned are not even honored and upheld right here in the United States.

phx8 and his Democrat/Liberal/Progressive overlords continue to protect and promote those who participate in violent protest, deny free speech at our schools of higher learning, ignore immigration laws, and adore a former president who disparages American when visiting foreign countries.

The Left wants more liberal abortion laws, diminished religious rights, gun control, and voter fraud.

Whataboutism:

https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/whataboutism-origin-meaning

This is a variation of the tu quoque logical fallacy.

During the Obama administration, the House Oversight Committee issued over 500 subpoenas, more than all pervious ones combined. The House and Senate conducted eight committee investigations into Benghazi between 2012 and 2016. The FBI conducted an extensive investigation into HRC’s e-mails. These were all conducted at the behest of the GOP, and as we now know, almost everyone at the top of the FBI & DOJ were Republicans.

The result? No indictments. No trials. No convictions.

The Mueller investigation has already obtained 32 indictments. There have been trials. There have been convictions. There have been plea bargains.

In addition, the DOJ is in plea bargain agreements with a Russian spy, Maria Butina, who infiltrated the NRA and the GOP.

One unnamed Congressman is also being investigated. From available information it can be deduced that person comes from FL and is connected to Roger Stone. Most likely it is Congressman Maetz.

Republican voters sent Duncan Hunter back to Congress, despite being charged with wire fraud, campaign finance violations, and conspiracy. He engaged in open and flagrant insider trading. Another six- SIX- Congressman are also implicated in insider trading.

But let’s concentrate on the Mueller investigation.

“All law breakers should be held accountable.”

Indeed. With the Trump 2016 election campaign we are looking at law breaking on a scale that is stunning. They betrayed the country in order to win the White House. Some did it for money, some for power, some because they were compromised. They did it to benefit themselves.

They betrayed YOU.

True. But, mostly by these Democrats, and numerous violations far, far, far more serious than the violations by Manafort (tax evasion, bank fraud), Cohen (tax fraud & campaign finance violation), Flynn (perjury), Gates (tax fraud), Papadopoulos (perjury; 14 days in jail), Richard Pinedo (identity theft; 6 months in jail), Alex Van Der Zwaan (perjury; 30 days in jail), or Sam Patten (failed to register as foreign agent). “… white nationalists are certainly familiar with Carlson. As Vox’s Carlos Maza detailed in a video that went viral last year, Carlson’s show has won praise from white nationalist Richard Spencer, former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan David Duke and the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer, which called the host its “greatest ally.”

Carlson has impressed those types with his repeated on-air complaints about immigrants and Muslims.”

“In March, Carlson commented on Hazleton, Pennsylvania, where the Hispanic population has grown exponentially since 2000, saying such demographic changes were “bewildering for people.” Behind Carlson was a graphic that read: “Changes in America.”

“That’s happening all over the country. No nation, no society has ever changed this much, this fast,” Carlson said. “Now before you start calling anyone bigoted, consider and be honest: how would you feel if that happened in your neighborhood?” Last month, Carlson went even further, saying that “Latin American countries are changing election outcomes here by forcing demographic change on this country, at a rate that American voters consistently say they don’t want.

Carlson did not cite a source for that claim. Recent Gallup polls indicate an overwhelming majority of Americans — 75% — view immigration as a “good thing” for America.”

That is pretty much the definition of bigotry. Maybe it is a little easier for me to see. Did you know my children are technically 1/4 Hispanic? My wife and daughter both speak fluent Spanish, although they do not consider themselves Hispanic. You [phx8], j2t2, and ohrealy like to play the race card at every chance possible.

The problem is that you are the true racist, based on your own comments. For example:

      Where is the proof that Tucker Carlson is racist, or has a problem with Latin, Mexican, or Hispanic influence or Hispanics in the workplace?.
      Again, you are not providing proof about Tucker Carlson, but you are certain providing ample proof of your own racism.]

By the way, I searched and found some of those comments you [phx8] listed above, and Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham were talking about illegal immigration, and excessive (over 1 million per year) legal immigration (which MOST U.S. Citizens are opposed to).
That does not mean, nor prove anyone is racist.
phx8 likes to play the race card at every chance possible, and phx8’s own comments, again, prove it.

Occam’s Razor.

Thank you for cutting and pasting my comments. I stand by every single one, and I am gratified to see such consistently high quality in my work. Much appreciated.

There are the racists, bigots, xenophobes, Islamophobes, and misogynists who support Trump, and there are those who are willing to overlook such vile stuff.

But you know, a picture is worth a thousand words:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/nov/14/congress-diversity-democrats-republicans-photo#img-3

For the incoming 116th Congressional Republicans, there are 29 white males in the House, and one female. Overall, the House GOP will consist of 90% white males.

For the House Democrats, the party resembles America- males, females, whites, blacks, Muslims, LGBT, Native Americans, and Hispanics. It is diverse. Just like the United States of America.

And there is nothing- literally nothing- that can be said to deny what this picture so vividly shows.

That picture and your rebuttal proves nothing, because in 2018:

  • 108 (79D, 29R) women hold seats in the United States Congress,
  • comprising 20.2% of the 535 members;
  • 23 women (23%) serve in the U.S. Senate,
  • and 85 women (19.5%) serve in the U.S. House of Representatives.
  • Also, Five women non-voting delegates (3D, 2R) also represent American Samoa, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in the United States House of Representatives.
That does not prove racism in any way.

However, your comments are racist, and your own comments, which you claim to “stand by”, repeatedly prove it.

True racists are usually the people that are running around calling everyone else (that they disagree with) Racist!!! Racist!!! Racist!!! Racist!!!

The state (Vermont) has never sent a woman to either the House or the Senate.
Is phx8 going to tell us Vermont is Racist too?

True racists are always looking for any opportunity, no matter if it is truly applicable (or not), to play the race card, and run around calling everyone else (that they disagree with) Racist!!! Racist!!! Racist!!! Racist

Phx8, you literally just condemned people for voting white male and then turned right around and praised people for not voting white male.
THAT is the very definition of racism.

I bet you have plenty excuses to justify blacks and hispanics being upset about gentrification turning their neighborhoods white. To justify blacks voting for blacks, muslims voting for muslims, gays for gays, and women for women.

Why are identity politics so much more important to you than facts?

“That’s happening all over the country. No nation, no society has ever changed this much, this fast,
Carlson said.

Carlson is not correct.

Venezuela changed pretty fast. Cuba changed really fast. Belgium, Netherlands, France, Czech, Slovakia, Poland, they all changed pretty fast.

Russia and China changed relatively fast.

Carlson’s comment just doesn’t hold water.

I’m looking at the photo phx8 provided and it only shows how sexist the Democratic party has become. The white male population is woefully underrepresented. Democratics really should do some soul searching in that regard.

It’s funny how when Republicans elect a woman to the Senate she is considered a racist and a white supremacist.

Funny how that works for Democratics.

kctim asked phx8: Why are identity politics so much more important to you than facts?

phx8 searches and searches the internet for things to rationalize that phx8’s racism is justified, and conveniently ignores that fact that 63.7% of the U.S. population is white (based on 2010 CENSUS).

IF phx8 believes the racial make-up of Congress should be identical to the racial make-up of U.S.A., then that means that non-whites must have voted for white people, since the 116th Congress consists of 81% white people, but the U.S.A. consists of 63.7% white people?

Also, consider as of 2018, of all 235 Million registered voters:

  • 40% are Democrat (94 Million);
  • 29% are Republican (68.2 Million);
  • 28% Independent (65.8 Million;
The make-up of the 116th Congress is:
  • 280 Democrats and Independents (47+233) = 52.3%
  • 251 Republicans (52+199) = 46.93%
Therefore, many non-white people must have voted for white people.
Does phx8 believe those non-white voters are also racist for voting for white people (since Congress is 81% white, but the U.S. is 63.7% white)?

Hence, kctim’s question:
kctim asked phx8: Why are identity politics so much more important to you than facts [ as demonstrated here by phx8’s own comments ]?
Based on the numerous racist statements by phx8 (especially about white people) (which phx8 claims to “stands by”), phx8 appears to think white people are racist, but ignores that fact that the percentage of white people in Congress (i.e. 80%) would be much less than 80% IF only white people were voting for white people, since white people only make up 63.7% of the U.S. population.

Texas is only 43% white, 38% Hispanic, 12% black, and 7% other, but it is a RED state.
There are 10 other states are 50%-to-60% white, but are RED states.
How does phx8 explain that?

phx8’s numerous comments (that repeatedly accuse the majority of white people of racism, s*xism, misogyny, white nationalism, fascism, etc.) do not make sense, and ignores many facts, including the fact that many white people (who comprise 63.7% of the U.S. population) helped elect Obama twice, and helped Hillary Clinton get the popular vote in 2016.

There are many, many more examples that don’t support phx8’s claims of racism and misogyny.
Obviously, the racial composition of a party does not necessarily make a party racist or s*xist.
Did phx8 ever consider that the composition of a party may reflect the positions-on-issues that the constituents agree with (instead of race or s*x)?

Of course, there are some racist people in the U.S., but far fewer than past decades.
Unfortunately, phx8 is one of those people, as demonstrated by phx8’s own comments, who epitomizes the hypocrisy of accusing others of racism, while practicing racism here, repeatedly.

Why else would someone work so hard to continually try to hunt for examples of racism, but repeatedly fail to provide credible evidence?

Sadly, phx8 believes racism in congress can be proven by a numerical system. Just count on your fingers, toes, and whatever else you possess.

We all know that we are supposed to vote for people by color, race, ethnicity, gender, age and se*ual preference.

We must achieve a look that, as someone said, resembles the bar scene from Star Wars.

“the composition of a party may reflect the positions-on-issues that the constituents agree with”

Of course that is true for the vast majority of Americans, but for the left to acknowledge that, they must first accept the rejection of leftist policy, and that’s not going to happen.
It’s much easier for them to engage in the politics of personal destruction with baseless claims of fascism, nazi, racist, sexist, xenophobe, murderer etc…

Let’s do something Democratics refuse to do. Let’s consider what they propose.

Let’s define the vote by race. Our HOR will reflect the racial diversity of the nation. XX% white, XX% black, on down the line. Mixed race voters identify permanently with the race they feel comfortable with.

Now, races can only vote for candidates who share the same race, otherwise the HOR would be skewed. Districts would be abolished because they would no longer be needed.

Does anyone see any benefits of this setup? I can see a person of the same race understanding his constituents at a much more fundamental level.

I also see the total obsolescence of the state governments. With political boundaries redefined by race, the concept of states is obsolete. Gerrymandering would be a thing of the past. We would have a state of black, a state of white, a state of brown, etc. (have I been spelling etc. wrong all this time?)

We would have to limit the number of races we can admit into the union. Since existing political boundaries are obsolete nationalism cannot define a race. French people are from France, but they are white, so the concept of France is obsolete and cannot be considered a race.

Democratics can agree this is more toward the concept of Global government, but instead of nation states we have races. I think it may be something worth considering. Why fight between nationalism and globalism when we can achieve much greater inclusion and bonding with races?

Is this something both sides could consider? Hypothetically of course!

The U.S. is already a diverse nation (ranks around the middle of all nations around the world), but that doesn’t appear to be good enough for phx8 ?

Since some people like to see the world through “race-based lenses”, perhaps some people (i.e. phx8) would like one huge global/world government, and the number of representatives for each race would be determined by the global population of each race, which would be based on the last world decennial population CENSUS.

Therefore:

  • (1) the East Asians (i.e. including China) would have the most representatives (25.0%),
  • (2) then the South Asians (including India) would have the next most (21.0%),
  • (3) and then Whites (16.0%),
  • (4) and then Blacks (14.5%),
  • (5) and then Southeast Asians (8.5%)
  • (6) and then Central and South Americans (7.5%).
  • (7) and then Middle Easterners (7.5%)
Is that enough granularity?
I suppose that it could be divided-up further.

China would probably love that, eh?

Sorry phx8, that would put (5) and (6) near the bottom in number of Representatives. So, that might not be such a good idea after all, eh?

HHMmmmm … in fact that might be a terrible idea, because some races may decide to try to rapidly multiply by huge numbers, simply in order to acquire more representation, power, and influence in government … like the Democrat party has (despicably) been doing for decades, by pandering to illegal immigrants (with promises of citizenship, another amnesty, welfare, healthcare, birthright citizenship, free housing, drivers’ licenses, foodstamps, free education, in-state tuition, voting in elections, etc., etc., etc.) for votes, via more House Representatives (and more electors) via apportionment, based on the decennial CENSUS, which does not verify citizenship.

See how ridiculous things get when you see the world through “race-based lenses” ?

Asians is the race. You’ve broken Asians down into subgroups.

The Asian state would include South, Southeast, and East Asians totaling 54.5%.

phx8 better start checking the Asian box on his resume.

I suppose phx8 and similar ilk believe Democrats are more honest than Republicans?

Looking back at the different administrations one can safely say the Dems have run the government without the corruption we have come to expect of a repub administration. Nixon, compare to Carter, Dems are better.
Reagan/GHWB compared to Clinton, hands down the dems were much less corrupt. GWB/Obama hands down the dems once again. Then we have Mitch McConnell who should be in jail for his dereliction of duty when it came to the Garland nomination. And this doesn’t include the POS we have in office now.
The big list you have made up, the conservatives wish list hasn’t panned out D. Your wild accusations have been discredited as nothing more than gibberish and how many of these false accusations were programs started under the GWB administration?

j2t2 seems to think Democrats are more honest than Republicans?

Think again !

It is more likely that Democrats are only better at getting away with violations, because they have the majority of the Main Stream Media in their pocket, and the Democrat DOJ and FBI are corrupt and won’t indict Democrats (such as Hillary Clinton).
For example (during the Obama Administration from JAN-2009 to JAN-2017):

  • [01] IRS targeting conservatives under Obama and Lois Lerner watch; Obama lied that no laws were violated: “There is not a scintilla of corruption in my administration”; Lois Lerner, head of the IRS Office of Exempt Organizations, stated she had not done anything wrong and then took the Fifth before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Lerner retired (with pension) in 2013 after an internal investigation found that she neglected her duties and was going to call for her ouster. Joseph H. Grant, commissioner of the IRS Tax-exempt and Government Entities division, resigned (with pension) on May 16, 2013. ; but Obama, nor Lois Lerner or Joseph Grant were ever held accountable;
  • [02] VA’s deadly secret waiting lists for veterans; The Secretary of Veterans Affairs, General Eric Shinseki, voluntarily resigned (with pension), but no one was never held accountable;
  • [03] Hillary Clinton’s illegal hackable amateur server and emailing of classified information; the FBI investigation found that 110 messages contained information that was classified at the time it was sent; but Hillary Clinton was never held accountable;
  • [04] Hillary Clinton seized control of the Democratic National Committee which used Pakistani programmers who are now being prosecuted, and Wikileaks had a field day with the classified information that was exposed to our rivals (i.e. Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, Iranians, etc.); but Hillary was never held accountable;
  • [05] Hillary’s camp created and paid for the infamous fictitious “Steele Dossier” which claims that President Trump committed collusion with the Russian government. This classic frame-up is still going on as she smiles at her accusers; but Hillary was never held accountable; this truly amounts to high-tech treason, and the fake news press continues to cover for Hillary, and corrupt FBI, DOJ, and other officials did unbelievable things covering for Hillary, by working under the assumption that she would become the next U.S. president; but Hillary, nor anyone else was ever held accountable;
  • [06] Terence Flynn, an appointee of Barack Obama to the National Labor Relations Board, resigned (with pension) in May 2012 after being accused of serious ethical violations by leaking information to the National Association of Manufacturers; no one was ever held accountable;
  • [07] Martha N. Johnson (D), head of the General Services Administration, fired two top GSA officials and then resigned herself (with pension) after it was revealed that $822,000 had been spent in Las Vegas on a 4-day training conference for 300 GSA employees; no one was ever held accountable;
  • [08] David Petraeus resigned (with pension) as Director of the CIA after admitting having a s*xual relationship with his biographer, pledd guilty to a misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified materials, in which he was given a two-year probation period and a fine of $100,000; so, he got off easy, but it was very harsh compared to the very same type, but more numerous crimes by Hillary Clinton;
  • [09] Comey and others in FBI and DOJ that ignored Hillary Clinton’s violations; but was never held accountable (except Comey was fired by Trump);
  • [10] Fast and Furious (a previous, similar program was started and ended during Bush’s administration called “Operation Wide Receiver”, but Fast and Furious started NOV-2009 (during Obama’s administration), and Eric Holder obstructed the investigations for the gunwalking-program; Eric Holder’s “Fast and Furious” obstruction caused the murder of hundreds of Mexican citizens and some US border patrol officers with weapons supplied by the US government. Some ATF agents became concerned the weapons were being used for crimes. On Dec. 14, 2010, U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was killed during a gunfight. Guns in the shootout were involved in the Fast and Furious operation, it was later learned. Eric Holder was found to be in “Contempt of Congress”, but Eric Holder lost no sleep about it, and Eric Holder was never held accountable;
  • [11] Hillary Clinton lying about video as cause of attacks in Benghazi, Lybia; but was never held accountable;
  • [12] Susan Rice lying about video as cause of attacks in Benghazi, Lybia; but was never held accountable;
  • [13] Obama’s Solyndra scam, which was a phony solar energy scheme which cost out tax payers $500 million. According to the magazine The New American: “the administration funneled billions of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of wealthy Democrats and Obama supporters, who in turn gave some of the cash back via campaign contributions. More than 75 percent of the over $20 billion went to Obama financial backers, according to Department of Energy figures analyzed by researchers.”; but no one was ever held accountable;
  • [14] The Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius was determined to be guilty of violating the Hatch Act by campaigning for the president in her official capacity; but Kathleen Sebelius was never held accountable;
  • [15] Obama’s administration spun intelligence to suit his narrative. It was reported that 50 intelligence analysts said their reports on the Islamic State (who Obama called the JV team) had been watered-down to suit the White House’s spin, and that pressure to do so had come from senior military and intelligence officials; but no one was ever held accountable;
  • [16] Democrats call for restricting or eliminating 2nd Amendment rights, and say it is worth it “even if it saves only ONE life”, but ignore the U.S. citizens (about 1000 per year; exact numbers are difficult to find) killed by illegal immigrants. 32% of everyone in federal prison is an illegal immigrant (total prison population in 2003 was over 1.47 Million according to GAO Report GAO-05-646R); Many Democrats and others on the left are calling for the abolishment of I.C.E., and many want open borders; but no one was ever held accountable for that hypocrisy and refusal to secure the U.S. borders;
  • [17] Katherine Archuleta, Director of the Office of Personnel Management, resigned (with pension) on July 10, 2015, after cyber intrusions allowed the theft of data concerning 22 million people, some of whom had applied for sensitive security clearances.
  • [18] Chaka Fattah (D-PA) from Pennsylvania’s 2nd district was found guilty on all 23 charges he faced, which included racketeering, money laundering and fraud. He was sentenced to 10 years and resigned from Congress on June 23, 2016;
  • [19] Anthony Weiner (D-NY) from New York’s 9th congressional district resigned from Congress in June 2011 when the first of what would become multiple s*xting scandals were made public; it was also discovered later that Weiner had access to Hillary’s assistant’s notebook computer, which contained classified information that it should not have contained;
  • [20] David Wu (D-OR) for Oregon’s 1st congressional district announced he would resign (with pension) from Congress, 4 days after a report that a young woman called his office complaining of an “unwanted s*xual encounter” with the congressman;
  • [21] Jesse L. Jackson Jr. (D-IL) pleaded guilty to one felony count of fraud for using $750,000 of campaign money to buy personal items such as stuffed animals, elk heads and fur capes;
  • [22] Laura Richardson (D-CA) was found guilty in 2012 on 7 counts of violating US House rules by improperly using her staff to campaign for her, destroying the evidence and tampering with witness testimony. The House Ethics Committee ordered Richardson to pay a fine of $10,000.
  • [23] Robert Decheine (D) CoS to U.S. Representative Steve Rothman (D-NJ), was sentenced in 2011 to 18 months in prison for soliciting s*x from a minor;
  • [24] Obama and his cronies were up to their necks in questionable business deals and may have distorted public policy to accommodate their profits; Obama and his administration would deem industries either destructive to the environment or exploitative for the financial and professional gain of his friends, including industries such as coal mining, offshore drilling, cash advance companies, and for-profit colleges,” wrote Katelyn Caralle of the Washington Examiner; but no one was ever held accountable;

Again, one of the major reasons the Democrats get away with so much is because they have the Main Stream Media in their pocket, and Republicans are weak on pursuing law breakers. IF Democrats were properly investigated too, the list above would probably be much longer.

And then, there are these lies, scandals, and fraud during the Obama administration:

  • (001) Remember, Obama said: “Unlike some, I actually try to state facts. I believe in facts. I believe in a fact-based reality, and a fact-based politics.”
  • However, Obamacare cost Americans billion$ in losses (possibly, worse).
    • Remember, Obama said: “[Health Insurance] Premiums will be lowered by $2500”;

  • (003) Obama did not have a clue about economics, and said GDP could never rise about 2.0%. Yet, in 2018, GDP reached 4.2%.
  • (004) Obama said jobs that went off-shore are NEVER coming back. Yet, many corporations, money, and jobs ARE returning to the U.S. due to the common-sense reduction of the corporate tax from 35% to 21% (closer to the global average of 20%)

  • (097) Inexcusable! Obama released many from Gitmo, and they committed more terrorist acts, killing 6 U.S. soldiers, and injuring others (www.politifact.com/florida/statements/2017/jan/25/cory-gardner/how-many-released-guantanamo-bay-prisoners-commit-/); Seriously? As of 23-JAN-2017, several Americans have been killed by the released terrorists; the federal government reported that 17.6% (122 individuals) had been “confirmed of re-engaging” and 12.4% (86 individuals) were suspected of re-engaging in terrorism. George W. Bush released some too, so he is culpable too.
  • (098) Obama negotiates with terrorists to release an army deserter because “we can’t leave an American Behind” but does nothing for the Marine that was being detained illegally in Mexico, arrested in Mexico less than 1 mile from the U.S. border (news.vice.com/article/ex-marine-who-carried-loaded-guns-into-mexico-is-released); Even if Tahmooressi intentionally broke the law, how does the actions of Bergdahl and Tahmooressi compare?
  • (099) Barack Obama’s admits to a what he calls a “boneheaded” move in involving contributor Antoin “Tony” Rezko, a Chicago businessman, in the purchase of his property on June 15, 2005. Rezko’s wife, Rita, also an Obama donor, bought the adjoining plot in Hyde Park from the couple, Fredric Wondisford and Sally Radovick, for the $625,000 asking price, the same day that Obama bought the house for $300,000 less than the asking price. Antoin Rezko was under federal investigation at the time. Rezko was indicted on unrelated fraud charges 16 months later, in October 2006. Obama has since returned about $85,000 in campaign contributions made or raised by Rezko … In January 2006, Rita Rezko sold Obamas’ one-sixth of the lot, for $104,500, to expand their yard;
  • (100) Since Obama’s inauguration in JAN-2009, 1,100 elected Democrats have subsequently been ousted by Republicans, hold only 18 of 50 governorships, and 31 of 99 state legislature chambers. Obama asked Americans to cast their votes for a thumbs-up or thumbs-down, and they did. In almost every respect, Obama leaves behind a trail of failure and disappointment. Obamacare was a healthcare disaster, and Politifact dubbed Obama’s statement, which he repeated over and over (“If you like your health plan, you can keep it”) as the “Lie of the Year”. Obama’s foreign policy was a disaster, and Obama’s rush to pull troops from Iraq and Afghanistan created a vacuum which plunged the region into terror, voilence, and inspired lethal terrorist attacks in the west.
  • (101) Obama promised to soothe America’s bitter and divisive politics, but the healer-in-chief never showed up. In Obama’s own words, his political strategy was one of ruthless escalation: Obama said: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” During his 2012 reelection campaign;
  • (102) Obama and his administration had a filibuster-proof Congress in 2009, and failed to pass a pathway to citizenship for the “Dreamer” illegal immigrants; Obama was already too focused on Obamacare and what he thouhgt was going to be his benevolent legacy for America (which turned into a disaster);
  • (103) In Obama’s administration, Hillary Clinton broke the law (by sending classified information through personal email, and for destroying emails), and James Comey and Loretta Lynch (and others in the FBI and DOJ) protected Hillary from being prosecuted. Other people have spent time in prison for far less. Loretta Lynch subsequently met secretly in a private meeting Bill Clinton in Phoenix (29-JUN-2016) to signal Hillary’s exoneration decision by Comey. Hillary Clinton claimed that the private meeting happened by mere “chance”. Scum bags. It was later proven on 5-AUG-2017 that the meeting was “planned”. Lorreta Lynch used an alias email name of “Elizabeth Carlisle” in the letter to Bill Clinton about the meeting in Phoenix on 29-JUN-2016. The public exoneration statements for Hillary were created before the meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton. Peter Strzok was involved in editing and softening the Comey exoneration draft statement, and texts between Strzok and Lisa Page indicate that Loretta Lynch knew in advance that Hillary would be exonerated by Comey.
  • (104) More…
What would be found in an investigation of the Clinton Foundation, and many people in the Obama administration (IRS, FBI, DOJ, VA, DNC, Robert Menendez, Lois Lerner, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, John Brennan, etc., etc., etc.) if they were investigated the same way Mueller is investigating the current administration?

What is the problem, D? Are you just g*ddamn stupid, or did you cut and past another screed without either bother to reading it?

Let’s look at this gem:

“(084) As of 21-APR-2014, Obama delays the keystone pipeline for the 45th time.”

The Keystone pipeline is not profitable at $50/bbl, not even close. Sweet J*sus, you are such a total waste of time. WTF.

Can someone ban this guy from WB? Seriously. Stop this crap. The site is bad enough as it is.

Happy now? Waaa Waa!
What about the other 124+ items?

D.! All your BS and it amounts to absolutely zero convictions. So yes despite your “much ado about nothing” list no corruption just anger and hatred on your part. The repubs have a long list of corruption in their administrations…just a fact.

You can try to baffle people with BS but it seems not even the conservatives here on WB are reading your stuff! Nice try D..

D.! All your BS and it amounts to absolutely zero convictions.
Only because there were no convictions does not mean Leaker Adam Schiff, crooked Robert Menendez, Lois Lerner, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Brennan, crookded Hillary Clinton (and the Clinton Foundation, etc.) are innocent of perjury and other serious violations.

Luckily for Democrats, there was no serious investigations of serious violations and instances of perjury (especially of Hillary’s illegal emails, and the Clinton Foundation) by several people in the Obama administration (i.e. in the IRS, FBI, DOJ, VA, DNC, Robert Menendez, Lois Lerner, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, etc., etc., etc.).

These violations by Democrats are more serious than these violations found by Mueller so far:

  • (1) Manafort (tax evasion, bank fraud),
  • (2) Cohen (tax fraud & campaign finance violation),
  • (3) Flynn (perjury),
  • (4) Gates (tax fraud),
  • (5) Papadopoulos (perjury; 14 days in jail),
  • (6) Richard Pinedo (identity theft; 6 months in jail),
  • (7) Alex Van Der Zwaan (perjury; 30 days in jail),
  • (8) or Sam Patten (failed to register as foreign agent).
So, it’s been 2 years now.
Where is the evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russians?

Ha ha!
HHMmmm…..wasn’t it many Democrats ( “Men, Shut up and Step Up” Mazie Hirono , Diane Feinstein, Patrick Leahy, Dick Durbin, Chris Coons, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Dick Blumenthal, Cory Booker, and Sheldon Whitehouse) that essentially decided that Brett Kavanaugh was “guilty until proven innocent”, without a shred of evidence?

Trump should be held accountable for any crimes committed.
How many years do you think it will it take to find “Collusion between Trump and Russians”, or something serious?
Has the scope of the Mueller investigation now wide-open to all potential crimes since the beginning of time?

IF everyone in Congress was investigated in the same way Mueller has investigated Manafort, Cohen, Flynn, Gates, Papadopoulous, etc., more than 50% of Congress would probably be found guilty of violations too (both, Democrats and Republicans).

j2t2 wrote: Face it D., the fact remains the repubs are the definition of corrupt.
I doubt it.
For example, from year 1974 to 2017, there have been 84 federal politicians that were convicted (or pled guilty) of crimes:
  • 44 were Democrats
  • 40 were Republicans
So, neither party appears to more or less dishonest that the other.
j2t2 wrote: You accuse others but offer nothing but biased far right BS
Not true.
I provide information that, apparently, upsets you [j2t2] and phx8.

Yeah, those are great examples of decency, eh?

I read his posts. There are more facts in his posts than any of the Russia collusion theories and hateful racist, nazi, sexist etc… talking-points that are parroted here on a daily basis.

The most interesting part of d.a.n’s posts has always been how leftists are so afraid of their content. Sure, you guys will sometimes counter with partisan spin, whine about the source, or even find a number that’s a little off here and there, but you rarely address the facts.
And now, to further avoid facts, you are engaging in personal attacks and calling for bans.

What a shameful gutless lot that the left has become.

David R. Remer(phx8) wants to return to preaching to the choir here at WatchBlog. He’s going to have to get his choir to return to WatchBlog first, though. They all left when they were confronted by people who disagreed with them. They couldn’t refute the facts being presented to them so they left for more partisan websites.

Have them come back, phx8. Have them contribute again. Have them bring facts and links to back them up instead of name calling and denigration. Start acting like a political party instead of a mad housewife.

Wow the delusions are strong here on WB. Cognitive dissonance is a much more potent force than I first thought. It seems those Trump supporters suffering from fragile masculinity have circled the wagons and doubled down…… Kctim! Really! More facts! On the issue of corruption, D. has probably posted nothing relevant about Obama. He would have us believe the Repubs and all of their committees were incompetent or corrupt themselves.

Of course, the reality is that was a witch hunt and they couldn’t prove what D. is telling us to be true. So please “facts” are not what D. posts. He tries to prove the Obama administration guilty without any trial, and you are buying into it. Remember zero convictions. Unlike the Trump administration, or the GWB administration, or the Reagan administration.

I suspect you are a bit like me. When I start reading D.’s posts I feel dumber for doing so. perhaps that is why you think he posts facts. IT all gets so hazy as the sheer volume of propaganda increases and D. is a propagandist without credibility.

Why wasn’t Holder held to account for his contempt of congress charge? Why wasn’t Sharpton sent to jail for tax evasion? Why wasn’t Hillbilly’s finances scrutinized? Why wasn’t a special prosecutor appointed to examine Learner’s role in IRS discrimination? Why wasn’t Bill Clinton found guilty of perjury?

Why are things like “wide stance” kept in the news for weeks and months? Why did Tom Delay’s legal troubles take years to be dismissed? Why was Speaker Gingrich drummed out of office for a staffer’s mistake?

These double standards, that have been obvious to me for decades, is why I believe the federal government and the Democratic party are corrupt and criminal. The media has been, and continues to be, a foil for the Democratics, fending off accusations by ignoring them or discounting them to the public.

I don’t trust the media. I haven’t trusted them since they unfairly and continuously criticized Dan Quayle. Mondale gets up in front of everyone and claims he will raise taxes and it’s considered a bold and brave move, but any mention of a tax increase proposed by a Republican is grounds for a public lynching in the media.

What would happen to Donald Trump if he said all black people look the same to him?

Democratics may say they don’t approve of Hillbilly’s comment, but they do nothing to demonstrate that disapproval. They continue to worship her. If any Republican said what she said they would be hounded out of office by the same liberals that give Hillbilly a pass.

The hypocrisy and double standards of the left are as disgusting as they are obvious. The Democratic party should do some soul searching before they continue to condemn those who point out the hypocrisy and double standards of the left.

IF there are so many “lies”, it should be easy to disprove those lies.
For example, you refused to even provide proof that only 1% of t h i s is false.

Again, it appears what enrages you most is: the truth
Otherwise, you would disprove all of the so-called lies, instead of continually whining about it.

Again, only because people in Obama’s administration were not indicted (mostly, because of corrupt Loretta Lynch, Comey, and other deep-state Democrats), does not mean there were no violations, as indicated h e r e.

So, feel free anytime to show exactly which facts are false.
That should be very easy, if as you [j2t2 and phx8] claim, all of it are “lies” and “false facts”.

D., You assume a lot, don’t you. Are you trying to prove my point about you being a propagandist without credibility? I mean D., you just assumed I was upset but unless you count ROTFLMAO as being upset you don’t have a leg to stand on. You either make it up, take it out of context or spin what was said, therefore you have as much credibility as the Obama administration had corruption convictions, Zero. Which, once again, is the reason I don’t bother with your many lists. You are a part of the overall “Big Lie” D..

Weary, Because….You have fallen victim to the conservative propagandist. They used distorted misinformation to convince you about all them there “deep state dems” letting the “non deep state dems” get away with something.

So riddle me this Weary, Are the repubs on all those house investigations the “deep state dems”? If not who is and how are they able to thwart the will of the conservative movement and the Trump administration? Or is it more likely these “deep state dems” only exist in the minds of the gullible movement followers?

tried to get you guys interested in some other topic, one some of us may agree upon, here that would allow you to keep diverting attention away from the clusterf**k that is our current administration. I didn’t mention teargassing women and children at the border. I didn’t mention the lies of Trump coming out due to Cohen’s guilty plea. I didn’t mention the a** kissing of the SCP by Trump. I didn’t mention any of the weekly Trump BS guys. Yet you want to talk about the corruption that didn’t exist! The zero convictions administration of Obama!

You’re ignoring Holder’s contempt of congress. Had he provided the information asked for would there still be no convictions? What was he hiding by not turning over the information he was asked for?

Why was Lerner completely forgotten about by the media? The investigation of Trump has been going on for 2 years and turned up nothing, but the Lerner investigation has no exposure at all. Probably because there wasn’t one.

Sham convictions of Republicans take 3 years to rectify with a small mention in the media on a Friday. Hillbilly’s sham exoneration is still in the media and used continuously as an excuse to not investigate. Never have I heard a cop say, “Yes, she broke the law, but she didn’t mean to so we’re not going to charge her.” NEVER does that work for a Republican!

I think the reason we won’t discuss topics you bring up is because as soon as we contradict your argument you will revert back to the name calling and degradation. Why bother?

The USMCA such a drastic difference from the old NAFTA agreement! LoL. Yet another Trump victory, we can hear all those manufacturing jobs being sucked out of Mexico and returning as we speak… Oh, wait GM says Truck Fump and is at risk to lose all its corporate welfare. Ya know after the tax cut do they really care? Have the threats from der Fuhrer done anything to sway the management at GM from getting rid of all the manufacturing jobs that weren’t going to leave us (according to Trump at least)?

Anyway sorry to get onto some real issues I know you guys have marching orders to keep us looking at the previous administration and the “deep state”. Look, guys, things are looking bad as Trump continues to revise his comments and embarrass himself and his henchmen. If he is going to make it as president the next two years his followers really need to address the problem and make him realize you won’t blindly follow every lie, every threat, every ….. nevermind we all know you will do just that.

I know let us do a “you know you are a conservative if” exercise.
I’ll start-
You know you are a conservative if you believe Mr. Art of the Deal couldn’t get a repub led HoR and Senate to investigate all these supposed acts of corruption during the Obama administration and bring the bad guys to justice.

Bonus points for also believing it was because the “deep state dems” stopped our elected officials from doing their job.

Well J2, here’s how it works then: If d.a.n claims he has posted a fact and you disagree, YOU post the facts that refute his claim.
If you need some left-wing examples, go back before you guys were consumed by so much hate and read some of Warren and Stephen, even Phx8’s, old posts.

All this putting your hands over your ears and mumbling nah nah nah zero convictions nah nah nah, only makes you look silly.

As far as the influence of corporate money on our system, it is a problem of our own making. When you give government power over something, people are going to find a way to abuse that power for their own benefit.
The goal to limiting that abuse is simple:
- Limit government power to running government
- Care about all abuse, not just the abuse that the ‘other side’ is guilty of.

Kctim. your method only gives D.’s “facts” a sort of legitimacy they, for the most part, really don’t deserve. As for the zero convictions, I did give a source of information to back up what was said. You guys, as is the norm, just didn’t read it.

I just got tired of giving sources only to have you guys ignore them. Your team really isn’t interested in facts when it comes to calling out their misinformation. It seems I am just feeding the beast we know as the conservative propaganda machine. We spend all of our time on diversions, it seems, and let the bigger issues go by.

Then, of course, you also seem to forget I have randomly chosen several of D.’s claims in the past and it goes right over your collective heads. It was a waste of time. The next thing you need to know is most of what D. posts is part of the overarching “big lie” perpetrated by conservatives over the years.

Pointing out the wrong is also a waste of time as the cognitive dissonance, of our right wingers here on WB, is overwhelming.

j2 I have read your so called FACTS and SOURCES many a time and most of them confirm what was said by either d.a.n., weary, kctim, or Royal. Most of them make you look foolish because of the FACT you didn’t read the SOURCE yourself.

J2,
“My method” is how adults use facts, rather than emotion, to discuss and debate. Your refusal to consider them simply because of what they imply, crushes any chance of rational discussion and debate.

“As for the zero convictions, I did give a source of information to back up what was said. You guys, as is the norm, just didn’t read it.”

The tab to your zero convictions link is still across the top of my browser, J2. I did indeed read it. What I was getting at though, is how you all use your politics to excuse and ignore serious wrongdoing:

You know that the IRS targeted Conservative groups: https://www.npr.org/2017/10/27/560308997/irs-apologizes-for-aggressive-scrutiny-of-conservative-groups

You know that classified material was found of Hillary’s servers: https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/06/us/politics/hillary-clinton-fbi-email-comey.html

But rather than debate it, you put your hands over your ears, la la la no convictions! conservative propaganda machine! and now, some big lie!

“I just got tired of giving sources only to have you guys ignore them”

Then try facts instead of the opinions and biased reporting you like to link to. Your linking for your white supremacy, proud boys, and nazi conspiracy’s have been atrocious.

And now, to further avoid facts, you are engaging in personal attacks and calling for bans.

What a shameful gutless lot that the left has become.

Allow me to add my name to your statement kctim.

It is interesting to speculate on just what mental illness allows one to deny facts, when presented, and then to decry lack of facts. Only in LIBERAL-LOONY-LAND.

For folks who seem to live and die by the latest political revelation or event, it seems odd to find our Liberal Pals so upset after watching the “blue wave” crash over the HOR.

One would expect these curious critters to be a little giddy over such an electoral whomping of House Republicans. Listening to them, and media talking heads, this Democrat wave of winning in the HOR is historical…monumental, and earth-shaking.

Then, there is all the good news about Mueller and his latest indictments, plea bargains, and threats to “sing or compose” that are floating around and being interpreted by CNN, MSNBC, and all the other “letter” media lackeys as bad news for the president.

We also have the Liberal celebration over falling oil prices which proves “we don’t need no fuc*ing pipeline”; and aren’t we glad there is a trade war to cause temporary pain for some Americans?

Good news makes them sad and angry. Bad news makes them sad and angry.

CONCLUSION: LIBERALS ARE SAD AND ANGRY

Of course d.a.n. is correct about Liberals suffering from “Cognitive Dissonance”.

I could have written that d.a.n., but I didn’t want to be labeled as “Nerdy” by our Liberal Pals.

Nerdy!? Oh, God! Isn’t racist, homophobic, xenophobic, sexist, misogynistic, fascist, nazi, enough?

So we all have seen the video of two Trump owners high fiving at the G-20. Because Trump is such a weak president, in action, and all bluff he has allowed these two a**hats to laugh in the face of democracy. That is why his weak response to the Kyshoggi assassination was important.

It seems the Trump apologists here on WB are on the side of the uber-wealthy in the global class war. They don’t talk like it but their actions sure do speak volumes.

It is understandable that people have a strong suspicion that Saudi Crown Prince (Mohammed bin Salman) did order the assassination of Jamal Khoshoggi (17-OCT-2018). It is understandable that people around the world want to see someone held accountable.

However, the CIA said it has “medium-to-high confidence” that the crown prince “personally targeted” Khashoggi and “probably ordered his death,” the Wall Street Journal reported, citing the agency’s assessment.
“To be clear, we [CIA] lack direct reporting of the Crown Prince issuing a kill order,” the CIA assessment read, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The Saudis fired five top officials, 18 were arrested, and 11 people were charged for killing Jamal Khashoggi at the consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. Also, 5 of the suspects may face the death penalty.

IF the Saudi Crown Prince (Mohammed bin Salman) did order or know something in advance about the assassination of Khashoggi, and Salman is now able to seek the death penalty for those 5 loyal subjects, then he is truly despicable.
Is it possible that there were rogue agents that disobeyed orders to only arrest and detain Khashoggi. Would the rest of the Saudi government knowingly allow Mohammed bin Salman to put 5 Saudi agents to death for orders given by Mohammed bin Salma ? IF 5 Saudi agents are executed for doing what Salman ordered them to do, the only problem is that Salman does not receive the same, well-deserved sentence.

So, j2t2, without definitive proof, what do you propose be done?

By the way, there are reasons why people might wonder about your sincerity and priorities, since

  • (2) Between October 1, 2010 and July 21, 2015, the Obama administration released 124 criminal aliens who were later charged with murder-related crimes committed in the U.S. after their release, and before February 2016.
  • (3) In 2011, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) published a study of 249,000 non-citizens in U.S. prisons and jails during 6 years from 2003–2009. This study represented a portion [about 68% of a total of about 364,950 illegal immigrants in state prisons, local jails, and federal prisons in year 2010] of the total population of criminal illegal immigrants who were incarcerated at the state and local levels (i.e. there are no reliable population data on criminal aliens incarcerated in all state prison systems and local jails). The study found that these illegal immigrants had been arrested for the following violent and drug crimes committed within the U.S.:
    • 25,064 homicides (NOTE: 25,064 homicides / 6 years = 4,177 homicides per year by a study group of 249,000 of a total of 354,950 illegal immigrants
    • 69,929 s*x offenses.

  • (4) Another GAO Report GAO-05-646R (Source: www.gao.gov/htext/d05646r.html) found the following (for a study group of 55,332 illegal immigrants (only 12.7% of all 436,313 illegal immigrants) incarcerated during 1 year (1-JUL-2002 to 30-JUN-2003) in 7 of 50 states: Colorado, Florida, Montana, Oklahoma, Oregon, New Jersey, and North Carolina):
    • the study group of 55,332 illegal immigrants is only 12.7% of all illegal immigrants incarcerated in year 2003; the total number of people incarcerated in state and federal prisons and jails was 1,470,045 (in 2003, 29% (436,313) were illegal immigrants; as of year 2018, 32% of all persons in federal prison are illegal immigrants);
    • each illegal immigrant was arrested an average of 8 times;

    • 80% of arrests occurred after year 1990;
    • 5,992 of all offenses were homicides (for 56 years from year 1947 to 2003), which is an average of 107 homicides per year (for the study group 55,332 illegal immigrants in 7 of 50 states; extrapolating, that is 107 x (50/7 states) / (12.7%) = 6017 homicides per year; compare that to 4,177 homicides (extrapolated to 6,142 homicides) for GAO Report GAO-11-187 for years 2003-to-2009 );

  • (5) As of year 2017, 32% of all persons in federal prison are illegal immigrants (Source: cis.org/Huennekens/32-Federal-Inmates-Are-Aliens ).

Many Democrats and others on the left call for restricting and/or eliminating 2nd Amendment rights, and say it is worth it “even if it saves only ONE life”, but many choose to ignore the thousands of U.S. citizens killed by illegal immigrants every year. Many Democrats and others on the left are also calling for the abolishment of I.C.E., and many are also calling for open borders.
HHMMmmmm … seems to me like some severely misplaced priorities and compassion?
Why is that?
Could it have something to do with (despicably) pitting U.S. citizens and illegal immigrants against each other for more votes for Demorats, via more representation and re-apportionment in the House, via more representatives (and electors) based on population, based on a Decennial Census that does not verify citizenship, and despicably pandering to illegal immigrants (with promises of amnesty, citizenship, and footstamps, welfare, healthcare, free education, free housing, etc.)? Regardless, those are some severely misplaced priorities! Posted by: d.a.n at December 1, 2018 4:40 PM
