Bin Laden Has Gone to Hell

Right about now, Bin Laden is finding out that he is not in paradise but in a place much warmer. It is good news that the old evil pervert is dead, although at this point it is mostly just joy that I no longer have to share the earth with him. His actual power has been declining for a long time. I hope he died a nasty but natural death. As much as there would be satisfaction that we killed him, it is better for the long term if he died of something prosaic like complication of diabetes, cancer or AIDS. I am sure my note will be overtaken by events. We will update as updates become available.

On Al-Jazzera, I heard that OBL was killed by a drone a week ago.

Glad to see the guy is gone, although its too bad he wasn’t captured alive. I’d rather have seen him go through the humiliation of standing trial and rotting away in prison.

I am afraid if the old goat f*er had been captured alive, we would have to put up with people claiming we violated his rights.

It is funny. I have to admit feeling strange. I am joyful at the death of this evil man. I surprise myself. I have to get up to go to work at 5am. I should go to sleep, but I just have to wait to see.

I remember 9/11 and how I felt then. I know that logically this does not end the story, but I sure am happy that he is dead. I hope he went hard and if there is a hell, he is now there.

Now CNN is saying he was in a mansion in Islamabad. I’m going to shut up until the President makes his speech.

Good idea. I know that there is no point in speculating about something we will know for sure in a couple of minutes.

What keeps on going through my mind is trivial. I keep on thinking of that song from the Wizard of Oz - ding-dong the witch is dead …

I’ve heard different reports, the last he was killed in Palace outside of Islamabad. I’ve heard both a drone or shot and we have his body. The President is supposed to come on the air any time now. Crowds are gathering outside the White House shouting USA, USA.

I would love to be the one to break the news to those A-holes down in Guantanamo.

I wish Obama would get on with the announcement. I need to get some sleep. NYT is reporting that Obama is personally writing the speech. That may explain some of the delay.

Well now that was it.

I assume more details will leak out over the next few days.

You won’t get too many details. I bet he got it right in the forehead and his eyes are now looking sideways like a fish. He didn’t know he was dead until he showed up in hell.

I would say that the good thing about this is that every sick son of a *****out there who thinks he can attack us and get away with it now knows that we’ll get them eventually. All it took was an American President determined to do it.

Bush wanted Saddam, and wanted him bad. So, he got Saddam. Obama was looking to get Bin Laden, didn’t consider him unimportant, so he got Bin Laden.

Rasmussen poll—-Obama approval rating at 99%.

No president should take credit for either Saddam or BinLaden. These were missions that were supposed to be ongoing and conducted by our people in those areas who we hope know what they are doing. If the reports are true then I am glad we got him, but I am not rejoicing and jumping up and down. Al-Queda is still very much alive and progressing.

Didn’t take long for someone to politicize this happy occasion.

From the Emanuael Dead Fish Book of Standard Operations.
Don’t let any opportunity go by without milking it for everything its worth and the cow screams CEASE AND DESIST!!!
This should be moment of thankfullness for our men who did the work of getting him.

…..and speaking of dead fish….that is exactly what the A-hole is doing..feeding the fishies… “burial at sea”.
I can’t wait for the first idiot to post their questions and doubts regarding (if) what took place.

Tom, do you mean like the cowboy fighter pilot and MISSION ACOMPLISHED? The right cheered themselves voiceless and for what? So Howdy Doody could do some grandstanding when tens of thousands, including thousands of American troops where still to die.

I have my bones to pick with Obama, but he proved himself to be a president yesterday.

I don’t see the threat as any greater today than it was yesterday. There has hardly been a month go by, since 9ll that Al-Qaeda hasn’t attacked somewhere or been caught in the act before they could.

We don’t know what is to come. The line about Ben Laden and Al-Qaeda being mass murders of Muslims might start sinking in. I doubt it, but it is a possibility.

Tdobson, politicize? I have no problem envisioning what the right would be saying about Obama if this happy occasion had been a disastrous occasion. Perhaps you would have waited till tomorrow.

I would have been grieving the loss of our brave troops instead of celebrating their success.

This will make things better.

We have to be culturally appropriate. The PC thing to do was to kill bin Laden. These guys understand revenge and expect it. We would have been acting in a culturally insensitive way if we had let him live.
