Springer-Schwarzenegger

Jerry Springer is running for Senate in Ohio. Can Schwarzenegger for Governor in California be far behind?

Tell people he won’t make any more movies and they’ll vote for Ah-nold.

The cult of personality continues to kill democracy as we know it.

From the state that elected Sonny Bono and Reagan, star of “Bedtime for Bonzo,” absolutely.

But wait a second. When all those Hollywood actors were making comments on the war, they were attacked by all the conservative talkshow harpies as being “from Hollywood” so they should keep their yaps shut.

So how come it’s okay for entertainment types like Bono, Reagan and now Schwarzy to run for office, but it’s not okay for Martin Sheen to say he was against the war?

Oh right, they’re conservatives.

Yeah being the mayor of the most corrupt city in the nation except for Baltimore and Seattle makes him qualified. Hitler youth? What?

Springer is OK with you? Even though you know he is scum? I dont get it. That would be like me saying that David Duke is qualified. Not me buddy no way.

please clarify that Hitler youth thing. That is interesting although it doesnt say anything about Arnolds character. He grew up free and is certainly not a racist or even a bad guy. Please explain.

Comparing Arnold to Hitler is like saying that Al Gore is an anti civil rights for black people activist. After all, Al Gore’s own father was opposed to civil rights for black people (something not widely mentioned), but I don’t recall hearing comments questioning Gore’s views on to civil rights. What’s with people on this post trying to smear Schwarzenegger (a great American — and he IS an American, by the way) based on the idiocy of his father (who he wasn’t even that close to).

I think arnold likes hitler and if we keep bringing germans and austrians to our country its going to endup in dictatorship. Germany still hates us, they think they are race # but they are not. Schwarzenegger its part of Nazi party. We need to save democracy once and for all. Save our country!!! Save United States of America. Save California!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all I do want to emphasize that I really wish people would leave some of these dirty accusations about Arnold alone. I just don’t think we have enough evidence to prove the Hitler accusations, and since we don’t, why should we continue to possibly defame him. Secondly, even the issue about the women (though he admitted it) is still so vague, and void of all the necessary variables that we would be prudent to wait on the necessaries before rushing to judgment. But here is the real issue: One person emphasizes that “Schwarzenegger (a great American — and he IS an American, by the way). Arnold has been in the U.S. for decades now, has successfully earned millions of AMERICAN $$$ from 2 careers, and yet he still has his distinctly non-American accent. But we, and the Republican Party can still support and vote for him to be a U.S. governor. Shame on us. If Arnold, was a native of Mexico or Latin America, and after decades he still possessed his distinct Latin accent, the majority race in America would tout this as a reason to cast him as unqualified to be a U.S. governor. um hum! Arnold has no background that would equip him to be an efficient governor, unless you count the fact that as an actor he knows how to pretend to be a governor; we already had one guy do that. And he was a very good actor. “the TRUTH will set us free.”
