Trump Reluctant to Deny He Sexually Assaults Women

Last night, Anderson Cooper confronted Donald Trump regarding the most salient question that emerged from leaked recordings from his conversation with Billy Bush of Access Hollywood fame. Was Trump’s admission to sexual assault a true statement or was he lying to Billy Bush?

Twice, Donald Trump refused to answer:

Cooper: Just for the record, though, are you saying that what you said on that bus 11 years ago that you did not actually kiss women without consent or grope women without consent?

Trump: I have great respect for women. Nobody has more respect for women than I do.

Cooper: So, for the record, you're saying you never did that?

Trump: I've said things that, frankly, you hear these things I said. And I was embarrassed by it. But I have tremendous respect for women.

Cooper: Have you ever done those things?

Trump: And women have respect for me. And I will tell you: No, I have not. And I will tell you that I'm going to make our country safe...

The American people are smart enough to figure out the truth. Donald Trump cares more about telling Billy Bush the truth than he cares about being honest with the American people. A straightforward and upfront clarification that the conversation on the bus 11 years ago was just a fantasy would have gone a long way towards healing the wounds Donald Trump has sown. Instead, we receive obfuscation and misdirection. That's not leadership, it is cowardice.

Conor Friedersdorf has an excellent summary of the exchange. This is no mere locker room banter. It is a serious confession that Donald Trump has personally committed heinous crimes against women.

Trump's lackeys might be tempted to draw comparisons with Bill Clinton. There are two distinctions to be made. Firstly, Bill Clinton is not asking Americans for their vote and he is not running for any public office. Hillary Clinton is the candidate for President and there has never been any allegation that she has ever been unfaithful to her husband let alone a perpetrator of sickening sexual crimes. Secondly, Bill Clinton engaged in two consensual extramarital relationships with Monica Lewinsky and Gennifer Flowers. There may be more instances of adultery that have not been proven or admitted. Juanita Broaddrick's rape accusations are contradicted by her own sworn affidavit; Kathleen Willey lost her integrity a long time ago; and Paula Jones' allegations lack distinguishing characteristics that would make them credible. It is a sign of desperation that claims that were debunked decades ago are signature in Trump's last stance.

Access Hollywood explained who was on the bus and exactly what happened back with the Billy Bush conversation. The link posted before is correct but doesn’t work. If you want the details you have to search for this title on YT’s Access Hollywod channel:

All I see here is the left stuck on old news. Since both candidates have baggage, Trump with his racy comments about women where there is no proof that he ever did anything but talk, then we have Hillary with her home brew server which may or may not have been hacked and her old news with Bill’s womanizing, that we actually know happened. What we need is to know their policies NOT if they screwed or played with some woman’s pussy 11 years ago or what Bill did in the Oval Office 20+ years ago. Policy people Policy is what we need to focus on. By the way I don’t give a rats A** what a candidate said in a supposed private conversation about their sexual prowness.

This. Is. Awesome.

Having been unable to defend Clinton’s dishonesty, terrible judgement and being one of the liberal elite, leftists have had to resort to a war of hyperbole and hypocrisy. LOL!

Even though I don’t support Trump and am an atheist, I am praying to every God there is for a Trump win just so I can watch the total leftist melt-down that would follow.

Is there one iota of evidence that indicates that Clinton ever engaged in a nonconsensual sexual relationship?

Warren Porter, are you talking about Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton? If you are referring to Hillary Clinton then I can see why you would ask that question. If you’re talking about Bill Clinton, then I have to ask, do you have your head in the sand?

You slander Trump with a manufactured outrage, and you completely ignore three of Bill Clinton’s real victims!

Incredibly hypocritical or unbelievably ignorant, which is it?

Juanita Broaddick, Kathleen Wiley and Paula Jones all got their shot at a hearing 20 years ago. None of their claims stood up after being thoroughly investigated by Ken Starr and others.

I don’t give a rats A** what a candidate said in a supposed private conversation about their sexual prowness.

Neither do I. But, when someone brags about breaking the law and getting away with it, we all should care.

Apparently, a former prosecutor doesn’t believe it’s a crime to grope a woman’s genitals.

Warped, Like Hillary????? By the way what was the $850,000 pay out for? Bill had to pay that money for a reason and it wasn’t just for consensual $ex. Bill, like Trump was a womanizer, he grabbed pussy because of his position as Gov. and President just like Trump. But the really S**TTY thing is Hillary went after the women and she says she is for women??? LOL.

Yes, and Monica Lewinsky has always said the relationship was consensual.

Warped, Monica wasn’t the only one, maybe she consented but he lied about the affair and that is what started the impeachment trials and the Paula affair.

It started as an investigation into the “Whitewater” affair. It suddenly shifted to the Lewinski circus for some reason and the Whitewater investigation was forgotten about.

W.W., According to Wikipedia 2 Perjury charges, 1 Obstruction of justice charge and 1 Abuse of power charge. It was the Senate Democrats that saved his A** and refused to impeach.

Remember, the definition of “sexual relations” given to Bill Clinton during his deposition by Paula Jones’ lawyers excluded fellatio. This is why Clinton didn’t perjure himself when he said he hadn’t had “sexual relations” with Monica.

Regardless, Clinton was impeached by the House and a trial was held in the Senate. The result of the trial: “Not Guilty”. End of story.

My point was the original investigation by Ken Star started as an investigation into the “shady real estate deals”, that’s what the media consistently referred to them as, “shady real estate deals”.

There were no details given by the MSM and when Ken Star switched his investigation to the Lewinski affair, the “shady real estate deals” were forgotten about. There was no conclusion to that part of the investigation. The Lewenski affair simply took over.

WW,

I don’t know why Starr stopped investigating whitewater. Presumably, he decided that the real estate dealings weren’t as “shady” as you allege.

We’ll never know, will we? Star could have at least come out and said she was extremely negligent in putting her profits in one account and her losses in another.
