Debbie Wasserman Schultz Resigns

The Florida Congresswoman commonly known by her initials, DWS, will not be chairing this weeks’ Democratic National Convention. Her tenure as Chair of the Democratic National Committee will end soon shortly thereafter. All this is the result of fallout from a leak of private DNC emails onto Wikileaks.

Over the past year, the Democratic National Committee was the victim of repeated security breaches. Russian hackers are the suspected culprits.

The biggest fallout has been the confirmation of what was long suspected. DWS and her subordinates were actively hostile to the Bernie Sanders' campaign throughout the entire primary process. While it is unlikely that she and her allies wielded enough influence to tip the election to Hillary Clinton, the lack of neutrality has disturbed many. Even if Hillary Clinton would have won anyway, this scandal strikes at the heart of the DNC's integrity.

From my vantage point, DWS' has a long record of misbehavior. Taken individually, these miniature scandals are nothing to worry about, but in the aggregate they speak to someone who struggles to be honest and straightforward with the people around her. Clearly, her instincts have not been very good, leading to many silly mistakes. Whether she is fit to represent Florida in Congress is up to the residents of Florida's 23rd district, but I am glad that she no longer chairs my party.

That said, the most concerning aspect of this whole situation has been the role played by Russia. If one of our foreign adversaries is working to influence one of our elections ought to raise the eyebrows of every American. Why Russia is helping Donald Trump become President is the realm of speculation. But we all ought to pause and examine exactly what is going on here. Trump's financial entanglements with Russia deserve scrutiny alongside other aspects of his campaign including Paul Manafort's relationship with Viktor Yanukovych.

Ultimately, the best way for Trump to nip these rumors in the bed would be to release his tax returns. That would go a long way towards assuaging Americans who are concerned that a Trump Presidency would place Russian interests over American ones for financial reasons. On the other hand, excising anti-Russian language from the GOP platform is not going to help these matters.

That said, we look ahead to the Democratic National Convention. This week, we will learn whether the Democratic party can unite behind its nominees for President and VP. Tim Kaine was a solid choice for Clinton's running mate. Only time will tell if Bernie Sanders' supporters will agree.

The collusion to support Hillary is not surprising, as the RNC (I’m sure) pulled for someone behind the scenes to one degree or another. What is FAAAAR more newsworthy is the fact that Journalists (from organizations often quoted as sources on this blog - like politico) were sending their articles out to Hillary’s campaign for approval.

The Blue side on Watchblog constantly says the news is unbiased except for Fox News, which is a propaganda machine for the Right, while we call out media bias on the left all the time.

This is always utterly denied, or “but-look-what-you-guys-do-ed” away, these emails just support what rational Americans have been seeing and hearing for years.

Watch the news media spin this faster than a CD player to be all about the Russians and Trump working together, so people will stop talking about the real story of news bias and the DNC’s biggest surprise donors…

Yukon Jake,

Thank you for your comment. The instance whereby Politico gave the Clinton campaign opportunities to review articles before they were published definitely flaunts the lines of ethical journalism.

I would never claim that the media is unbiased. To the contrary, they are heavily biased. However, that bias is always in favor of the bottom line. We’ve all heard the sayings, “If it bleeds, it leads”. Nobody is going to publish “Dog bites man” when they can publish “Man bites dog”. Those are the real biases in the news.

One thing I never understood-
The DNC is a Democratic organization. Although I like many things about Sanders, he is not a Democrat. Why is the DNC obliged to give a person who is not a Democrat a fair chance at taking over the organization? Seems to me a party organization specifically exists to promote the party’s interests, and not the interests of a person who is not a Democrat.

That is in no way a knock on Sanders. I just don’t understand the expectation that the DNC should be neutral.

Normally, when someone accuses someone else of something, they offer proof, evidence. Nothing was offered by this guy in your first link. The Newsby asked the right questions, but the response was not official and it was based on pure speculation. How can you accuse Russia when there is no proof?

This one link demonstrates how the media, the DNC, Hillbilly, and Warren Porter will point fingers without any facts, (remember the youtube video?) and keep repeating it over and over until the media forgets about it.

Next, Warren Porter uses his next paragraph to scapegoat Schultz. Nice segue into a return to blaming a country (Russia), in an effort to malign a person’s character (Trump).

Are you going to take this accusation, that Russia is behind this, at face value? Aren’t you in the least bit interested in the facts that led this person to say what he said in your first link?

To be honest, Warren Porter?

When I was growing up, I was told to question everything. It’s advice you should consider good. Surely you should question these baseless accusations against Russia. They’re being manufactured to deflect from the emails and build a narrative that Trump and the Russians are somehow in cahoots!

You’ve said some preposterous things trying to defend your party, Warren Porter. You could spare yourself by actually listening to what your champions are saying instead of assuming their premise is correct and endlessly parroting their conclusions.

These conventions are absolutely nothing more than a feel good moment for those voters who want to feel good at the moment.

Both dems and reps and Bernie() are corrupt in that they work to serve corpocracy.

Corpocracy needs only to buy a few committee chair persons to control the legislative agenda.

Some of this has come to light of recent: Clinton’s emails, DNC emails, Cruz and Rubio taking on Phil Gramm as an associate,

Recall the secrecy both sides utilized in trying to push thru the North American Union. When the PEOPLE realized what was going down it came to a stop. In the interim NAU policy has been implemented piecemeal to the extent possible. Open bordeers, workers moving around freely is part of that.

Recall that the folks have wanted border control since the 1st Regan amnesty in 86. Regan promised border control if he could have amnesty.

Both sides have had full control of gov’t at various times since 86 and nothing changed at the border.

When Trump, an OUTSIDER, raised the immigration issue voters swarmed the GOP voting booths. Sufficiently so, to put Trump in the catbird seat come Nov.

The Dem corpocratist/establishment had a great plan to hang on to their power and ensure status quo. They would put Hillary up against an ‘over the hill commie’ and a guy from Maryland with a milk toast personality and nothing more. They were amazed that Bernie did so well but wasn’t bothered as they could control him thru the DNC, which they have. It’s those pesky Bernie supporters who have thrown a wrench into the gears.

The Clinton dynasty would have been super great for the corpocracy. Now they have to settle with just being great under a Trump run.

Once in office, should Trump allow the infighting to be publicized, we will be entertained way more biggly than the conventions have been able to provide.

Otherwise - - -

There is little doubt the hackers were from the Russian state.

“It was the keyboards that gave them away. Russian hackers, typing on keyboards configured in Cyrillic and doing it in a time zone consistent with Moscow, created the “eloquent” code…”

http://abcnews.go.com/International/reasonable-doubt-russians-hacked-dnc-analyst/story?id=40863292

In addition, the hackers worked during the Russian workday (9 - 5) and they observed Russian holidays not observed elsewhere. The level of sophistication was also a marker.

It was the most blatant effort by a foreign power to affect the presidential election that I can ever remember. I really was shocked. This was not just a matter of observing, or a hack to determine trends or possible future policies. This was an active effort, an attack intended to harm Democrats and help Donald Trump.

Why support Trump? Because Trump made comments indicating he might not honor NATO commitments. Dismantling NATO has long been a primary goal of the Russians. Also because Trump changed the GOP platform to state the US would not provide lethal arms to the Ukrainians- virtually the only change the Trump campaign made. The Russians liked this too. Remember, Trump’s campaign manager is Paul Manafort. His last gig was lobbying on behalf of the Russian oligarch who used to be in charge of the Ukraine-

Until he was overthrown with the support of the Democrats.

Not to mention that the US tanked the Russian ruble in retribution for their campaign in the Ukraine. Heh. Obama also threatened to make it personal by going after the Russian oligarch’s personal bank accounts. That hurt.

The Russians do NOT like the Democrats and Hillary Clinton because they support NATO and resistance in the Ukraine.

Trump is their dream come true.

At least one more DNC document dump is expected, along with one from the Clinton Foundation. We’ll see.

There is no question the Russians are attempting to influence the outcome of the election. I think it has shaken everybody up. Really enjoyed Michelle Obama’s speech last night, knocked it out of the park and tore the cover off of it. Looking forward to the rest of the week’s speeches but really looking forward to the general election and especially the Presidential debates first. The first one was canceled right off due to concerns regarding security expenditures, the security costs were up from 3+ million dollars in 2012 to over 8 million dollars for this year. I guess Wayne State University in Ohio couldn’t handle that price tag, Hofstra will be hosting the first one now.

If I ever decide to run for a presidential nomination I should probably join the party that I am running for first. Bernie Sanders didn’t understand that but that is OK he is still one heckuva Senator and has some great ideas. I understand he has decided to keep his Independent affiliation.

What does that have to do with anything? The parties reversed polarity when the Democrats passed civil rights legislation in the 60’s. The GOP chose to pursue The Southern Strategy. The parties switched places, and now the GOP has become overtly racist. That is how we got to where we are today.

Donald Trump has repeatedly posted material originating on white supremacist web sites. The percentage of blacks nationwide voting for Republican presidents has dropped into the single digits. Out of almost 2,500 GOP delegates at the convention, only 18 were black.

In 1976 I voted for McCarthy rather than the conservative Carter, so I understand the Bernie rugrats. I voted for Carter in 1980, Mondale in 1984, Lenora Fulani in 1988, WJC in 1992 and 1996, and after that I’ve mostly voted for Green Party candidates. I expect HRC45 to be a one term POTUS, because of the unrelenting negativity of the opposition and her age, but The Vast International Right Wing Conspiracy could screw up enough to get her a second term.

Visitor,

Firstly, it isn’t the left who alleged Russian culpability behind the leaked emails. It was an independent security firm which discovered evidence that the hackers used cyrillic keyboards and only worked during Russian business hours.

Secondly, the Russians definitely knew about the DNC’s email servers. However, the same cannot be said about Clinton’s Chappaqua server. You cannot hack what you don’t even know exists, so it is not that hard to imagine that the DNC email was compromised even when the Clintonmail server was not.

That said, Comey testified is that we have no way of ever knowing if hostile actors ever hacked her email server. So, the possibility that Russia or others hacked the server in Chappaqua can never be fully dismissed.

Right now there is an interesting conversation going on among US intelligence services: is Donald Trump a Siberian candidate?

He has made statements intended to undermine NATO and US treaty commitments to allies. He has repeatedly expressed his admiration for Vladimir Putin. While he may not have any investments in Russia, Russian oligarchs reportedly have hundreds of millions invested in him. The Trump campaign made only one significant change to the GOP platform, saying that the US would no longer provide arms to Ukraine. Trump’s campaign chief represented the former head of the Ukraine, who fled to Russia when his regime was overthrown, in part due to Hillary Clinton.

Now Russian intelligence has used Wikileaks in a cyber attack on Democrats. Donald Trump stood on a stage this morning and said, Russia, I HOPE YOUR’E ABLE, launch another one, because the media will “richly reward” you.

Does US intelligence dare provide the Trump campaign with classified information? Will they run a sting, provide him with a false piece, and see if he shares it with the Russians? You know darn well someone is thinking about it.

The media is trying to parse every word Trump says, looking for the one thing…that one hidden meaning that will sink him. So here we have phx8, who’s hung up on Trump’s words; just like the media, trying to find the one word that will beat him in the polls. Yet he just keeps climbing. Phx8, nobody cares. Trump connects and Hillary’s an old crooked liar. Sorry, but them’ the facts.

To phx8 and Warren Dean Porter; I’m having a real problem understanding your logic. Are you saying that Hillary Clinton still has a working server that contains classified emails? If Trump is calling for the Russians to hack her email, then she must still have a server…or, could Trump have possibly been saying….Russia, if you already have her emails, please send them to us? No, that’s too simple and doesn’t fit the narrative.

Fox News is a political party? Sorry, but have the ability to watch and comprehend. CNN and the rest of the MSM are peeing down their legs at trying to cover for Hillary. From their failure to cover the recent terrorist murders to their failure to discuss the content of the released emails. Typical liberalism to attack the messenger and ignore the message. Let’s discuss the message; how the left has disparaged Jews, Blacks, and Hispanics; or that the DNC actively worked to undermine the Sanders campaign. The false outrage of the left’s talking heads means nothing to the voters. As I said earlier, just keep up the BS, Hillary will continue to fall and Trump will continue to rise in the polls.

Trump speaks with the vocabulary of a fifth grader, that’s the only reason why he connects with the people he connects with.

“The media is trying to parse every word Trump says, looking for the one thing…that one hidden meaning that will sink him.”

There is no deeper meaning. Trump is a con man. He changes his tune to suit the weather. The media isn’t paying attention.

His words alone should sink a battleship, yet no one calls him on his bullshit so he continues to spew it.

This is what I thought Trump meant. If Russia already has Clinton’s emails, we should not be encouraging Russia to release them on Wikileaks.

Alternatively, Clinton has presumably maintained an email account over the past year with her personal information. Another interpretation would be that Trump is encouraging Russia to hack that server. While that server doesn’t contain precious national secrets, it does contain personal details from Clinton’s life that really shouldn’t be any of our business.

Sorry for the duplicate post, my iPhone is acting up.

I would consider “Drumph” and “Faux News” comments as fifth grade level.

Warren Dean Porter, did Trump say he wanted Russia to release the emails to Wikileaks? I thought he wanted them released to the FBI.

Rocky Marks, so you have the intelligence to say that the only people listening to Trump, including republicans, democrats, and independents only have the ability to understand fifth grade level conversation. Have you by chance ever watched Watter’s World? The part where Watters visits the campuses of well known liberal colleges and asks questions like “what year did the war of 1775 take place?” And the answer was “1850???” Or perhaps the question, “who was the first American president”, and the answer was “Abraham Lincoln”. Yes, Rocky, tell us again of who has the fifth grade education.

Oh, the outrage. So worried about what Trump said, but conveniently silent on the things Hillary has said.

Don’t pretend like I am stupid. This is what Trump said:

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press,”

Why on Earth would the FBI want Clinton’s 30,000 personal emails? How on earth would Russia be “rewarded mightily by our press” if they secretly gave them to the FBI. Obviously, Trump refers to Russia’s preferred medium for disclosing US secrets, Julian Assange’s Wikileaks.

Asking a foreign power to launch a cyber attack against a political opponent crosses the line and flirts with treason. It does not matter whether the goals is to obtain info about e-mails, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS, Filegate, Travelgate, Watergate, Whitewater, or whatever; that crosses the line.

Why? Because it puts Party ahead of country. And yes, words matter. When Trump looked directly into the camera and said:

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

That crosses the line. Appealing to Russia to help your candidate win an election crosses the line.

Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation.

Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank…

Your side believes that if they can shift the mantra to Trump, then we will forget how untrustworthy Hillary really is. 68% of Americans believe she is untrustworthy. Trump has consistently gone up in every poll for the past week. And as much as the left continue to defend her, she continues to fall. Nancy Pelosi stated that white middle class Americans are the supporters of Trump; the same men that are classified as union workers, who used to support democrats. The real Democratic Party is found in Pelosi’s comments about the evil uneducated middle class white men, who cling to their guns and God. This is the very group that democrats once depended on for support.

Tonight it wraps up with Hillary Clinton giving hers acceptance speech. After following professional political speakers like Biden and Obama, Hillary has to speak. She has one of two options; either she can used her boring drone voice that puts everyone to sleep, or she can use the screeching, shouting voice that she uses on Bill behind closed doors. Did anyone notice the the loyalist democrat Leon Panetta was literally booed of the stage last night. What we witnessed was the modern Democratic Party I action, “no more war, no more war, no more war”; even while Panetta was trying to explain the Great War victories of Obama and Hillary. Panetta was tied with the CIA, therefore the enemy of the modern democrat party.

One of these days, the left will realize the truth of “Hillary’s America” and “Clinton Cash” and we will see the end of liberalism. One can only hope.

The Director of the FBI testified Hillary Clinton was cooperative, did not hide anything, did not obstruct justice, and provided everything requested.

KAP,
I don’t believe HRC has said anything about the statement by Trump. In a tweet, former CIA Director Leon Panetta questioned Trump’s loyalty, and William Inboden, who served on the NSC under George W Bush, called Trump’s statement “tantamount to treason.”

Again, it has been investigated, and HRC did NOTHING illegal with classified information. Sorry. That is what the investigation determined. And just to be clear, her server was legal.

And it was not a “sarcastic remark” by Trump. I watched the news conference live (I was on an elliptical).

And here is the fact check from his news conference for some other fun stuff:

◾The Republican presidential candidate wrongly said that Sen. Bernie Sanders had “lied” in saying Trump supported a minimum wage below $7.25. In fact, Trump told NBC News in May that he didn’t support a federal “floor” and would leave it up to the states. Sanders got it right.
◾Trump insisted again that Vladimir Putin called him a “genius,” even though Putin clarified just last month that he called Trump “flamboyant.”
◾We found no evidence to corroborate Trump’s claim that Putin “mentioned the N-word one time.” Two experts on Russia told us they had no idea what Trump was talking about.
◾Trump claimed with no evidence that Hillary Clinton deleted emails from her private server “after she gets a subpoena” from Congress.
◾There’s also no evidence for Trump’s repeated claim that “many people” saw or knew about “bombs lying all over the floor” of the San Bernardino shooters’ home and didn’t report it.
◾Trump said Blue Cross Blue Shield in Texas had “announced a 60 percent increase” in health insurance premiums. That’s a proposed increase for 2017 that has yet to be approved by regulators for certain plans purchased by those buying their own insurance.

http://www.factcheck.org/2016/07/trumps-press-conference/

Maybe the whole presser was just an exercise in sarcasm.

In slightly more than 3 months all of these comments regarding Clinton and Trump will be looked at as the conjecture that they so readily display.

I am content to wait until the American voters make their decision in November however I am certain that there are many here that would attempt to influence any and all. Fortunately a very, very, very small percentage of people are affected by all of this conjecture here and elsewhere and as usual it will have very little affect on the outcome of the election.

I do enjoy reading some of the more thoughtful comments regarding the attempted conjecture however most seemed to be filled with vitriolic nonsense that can easily be skipped over.

For my part I will support Hillary Clinton for President until and if my position changes. I am looking forward to hearing a little of her speech tonight but doubt that I will hang on her every word. So far the speechifying has been interesting and I have found nothing to be displeased about other than the license some commenters here take in declaring one guilty or the other not guilty of something or other. According to Walter Williams writing in Townhall…http://townhall.com/columnists/walterewilliams/2016/07/27/what-can-discrimination-explain-n2197498

“From the late 1940s to the mid-1950s, black youth unemployment was slightly less than or equal to white youth unemployment. Today black youth unemployment is at least double that of white youth unemployment. Would anyone try to explain the difference with the argument that there was less racial discrimination during the ’40s and ’50s than today?

Today’s black illegitimacy rate is about 73 percent. When I was a youngster, during the 1940s, illegitimacy was around 15 percent. In the same period, about 80 percent of black children were born inside marriage.

Today only a little over 30 percent of black children are raised in two-parent households. The importance of these and other statistics showing greater stability and less pathology among blacks in earlier periods is that they put a lie to today’s excuses.

Intellectuals and political hustlers who blame the plight of so many blacks on poverty, racial discrimination and the “legacy of slavery” are complicit in the socio-economic and moral decay.”

How do we know your comments haven’t been hacked? How do we know you are not subject to blackmail? Maybe you are really a Russian agent. We don’t know for sure, do we?

C’mon. That is not a valid reason to object- to suggest that something might have happened that no one knows about.

Again- the FBI investigated HRC’s server and found nothing illegal. There were no indictments. According to the Director of the FBI, she cooperated, provided everything requested, hid nothing, and did nothing to obstruct justice.

Feel free to claim something might have happened that no one knows about, but it will be difficult to function in real life using that kind of thinking.

Calling people “IDIOTS” does nothing to advance your cause. Trump does a lot of name-calling. It becomes a way of attacking an opponent without standing up for any issues.
Can you name a single issue Trump stands for? Try. I will bet I can provide a quote by him that contradicts it. He has been on both sides of almost every issue, sometimes switching back and forth multiple times, such as on Libya and the minimum wage.

And remember. Hillary Clinton has lived her life in a fishbowl. She has chosen to devote it to public service, despite literally decades of attacks. She has released decades of tax forms. The Clinton Foundation is remarkable for its transparency. She has shown a fundamental decency as she has advocated for children and health care issues throughout her life.

Can you say that about Trump? Has he devoted his life to public service? Has he released his tax forms? Are his charities transparent? Has he ever advocated for anything other than himself?

Not the missing 30,000 emails. We don’t have a clue what they may contain.

Actually, we do have a couple of clues:

HRC instructed her lawyers to identify which emails were work related and which ones were personal. Out of roughly 60,000 total emails, 30 thousand were deemed work related turned over to investigators and the other 30 thousand were deemed personal and irreparably deleted. Comey’s testimony tells us that the separation of emails was done by searching the subject lines for certain keywords. Unfortunately, the discrimination was not perfect and at least a handful of work related emails ended up in the wrong category and were destroyed. However, the FBI was able to recover a small number of these emails by examining the records kept by other State Dept employees and by performing forensic reconstruction of data in the server’s “slack space”. Of those reconstructed emails, a small number contain retroactively classified information.

If Russian hackers possess these 30 thousand emails, there is a decent chance some of them contain sensitive state secrets that should not be public. Uploading them to Wikileaks would potentially imperil National Security. This is why Trump’s remarks are absolutely reprehensible. Under no circumstances, should a candidate for public office jeopardize America’s secrets just to score political points.

If Russian hackers possess Hillary emails containing secrets, are you naive enough Warren, to believe they won’t be given to our enemies?

Keeping them secret from the American public is wrong as it may keep a careless and negligent person from betraying our country as president.

Making any such emails public will also destroy their possible usefulness for blackmail.

Royal Flush, the Democratic Party is directly responsible for the plight of black Americans. They have created the problem, just as they are trying to do to Hispanics. But, I have to say, the most puzzling thing is how the Democratic Party have managed to create the impression that they are the heroes of blacks. “Hillary’s America” documents that the democrats were the slave owners, that democrats fought on the side of continued slavery, that it was democrats who organized the KKK as a means of keeping blacks in their place after the Civil War, that it was democrats who instituted Jim Crow laws, it was democrats who voted against civil rights laws, it was democrats who put blacks in government housing, who created a welfare state for the purpose of destroying the black family, it was democrats like Margaret Sanger who organized planned parenthood for the purpose of wiping out blacks through abortion, it is democrats who oppose charter schools which give black children the possibility of a real education, it is democrats who pass gun control laws which prevent blacks from protecting themselves in urban war zones, it is democrats who have tied the hands of police from protecting blacks, and the list goes on and on. I’m sure there is a great fear among democrats that blacks might some day figure it out.

Just to be clear, the “Russian Hackers” that hacked the DNC are almost undoubtedly agents of the Russian government and not private Russian citizens. So, if Clinton’s server were hacked (and there is currently zero evidence suggesting that it ever was hacked), then any classified information contained therein would undoubtedly be in the hands of our adversaries in Russia.

That said, we have other adversaries (eg DAESH) who may not be in the know. Russia only does things if it advances Russia’s interests and Russia may feel that it isn’t in it’s own interest to share intelligence with particular American adversaries. Consequently, it would be tremendously dangerous for Russia to release any stolen information onto a public space such as WikiLeaks.

Posted by: Visitor at July 28, 2016 5:20 PM

That would be catastrophic for the Democrat Party. The power of those who live off keeping black people dependent upon them would be lost. The power and the money is what keeps the top Dems lying to black people.

My hope is that more black and Hispanic people wake up and realize the harm being done to them by the Democrat Party and their leaders.

Warren, any Clinton emails that may have been hacked that may contain secrets would be old news by now. I would find it difficult to believe that she would have even been aware of new weapon developments or precise Pentagon planning.

Surely even Hillary wouldn’t reveal the names and locations of American personnel working behind “enemy” lines.

My concern isn’t what secrets might be revealed after the fact but rather, her extreme carelessness in pursuit of her personal privacy.

I have no reason to believe that her paranoia will change should she become president…do you Warren?

IKR. When I looked at the number of posts since this morning, I thought I would have some actual reading here, but it only took a couple of minutes. Even Warren Porter has gone off the deep end in this Zombie Apocalypse. 1 comment from you and a couple from pdx8. The rest is spam.

On another subject, Sky News was showing video of the jihadists in France yesterday, while France 24 and Le Monde have rejected this way of giving publicity to the evildoers.

Actually, the reverse is true. Of the emails she turned over to investigators, only 52 chains were classified at the time of transmission. On the other hand, over a thousand emails have been classified retroactively. That is, they were not classified in the past, but they are classified today.

I would find it difficult to believe that she would have even been aware of new weapon developments or precise Pentagon planning.

The actual content of a classified document is not our concern. If I had to speculate, I would guess that the most dangerous content would be anything summarizing private conversations with other nations.

My concern isn’t what secrets might be revealed after the fact but rather, her extreme carelessness in pursuit of her personal privacy.
I am also troubled by her past behavior.

Warren Porter keeps posting an edited version of Trump’s comments, which is a copy and paste of what the MSM has reported, but here is the full statement:

Trump said, “If it is Russia, which it’s probably not, nobody knows who it is, But if it is Russia, it’s really bad for a different reason, because it shows how little respect they have for our country. When they would hack into a major party and get everything, but it would be interesting. I will tell you this. Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you find the thirty thousand emails that are missing. I think you’ll probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let’s see if that happens next.”

The last time I was on WB, a few months ago, I remember Warren Porter claiming reasons why he would not vote for Hillary Clinton. It appears he has partaken of the cool aid.

So much outrage over Trump’s comments, but no outrage over Obama’s comments last night. What we heard was not the real Obama, it was the campaigning Obama. Obama has not governed by what he said, and doesn’t even believe what he said. The real question is, what will Hillary say tonight? We don’t really know what she will say, but we know it will be a lie, because she is lying crooked Hillary.

I may only have a fifth grade education, but it appears Trump is talking in the past tense when speaking of Russia having the emails and then he said, they probably didn’t. Of course Trump had to explain to the higher educated MSM that his comments were sarcastic. It appears this shot right over the heads of the liberal talking heads of WB too. Now, the question is, how can we prove that Trumps comments were sarcastic? By the continued statement, “I think you’ll (Russia) probably be mightily rewarded by the press”. This was continued sarcasm simply because the press certainly doesn’t want any more information about Hillary’s emails.

See what can be done with a fifth grade education.

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you find the thirty thousand emails that are missing. I think you’ll probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let’s see if that happens next.””

I haven’t been in the fifth grade since 1962, but even I remember that “I hope you find…” isn’t “past tense”.
Neither is “you’ll” (you will).

Apparently some fifth grade educations are much better than others.

“…but we know it will be a lie, because she is lying crooked Hillary.”

Trying to read the tea bag leaves Visitor?

Perhaps a nice hobby.

Rocky Marks, once again you show your ignorance. You failed to include the entire quote of Trump:

Trump said, “If it is Russia, which it’s probably not, nobody knows who it is, But if it is Russia, it’s really bad for a different reason, because it shows how little respect they have for our country. When they would hack into a major party and get everything, but it would be interesting. I will tell you this. Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you find the thirty thousand emails that are missing. I think you’ll probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let’s see if that happens next.”

The hacking of Hillary’s server was in past tense; it cannot be future tense because the server is now in the hands of the FBI. How is Russia supposed to hack her server while in the hands of the FBI…it shouldn’t even be hooked to the internet?

Your next ignorant statement is:

I haven’t been in the fifth grade since 1962, but even I remember that “I hope you find…” isn’t “past tense”. Neither is “you’ll” (you will).

This statement by Trump is not referring to the gathering of emails; it refers to the releasing of emails to the media. Of course this is future tense because the emails have not yet been released to the media. So evidently you failed all English classes from 1962 and forward. You have taken two separate subjects of Trumps speech and combined them. One was the gathering of emails, which had to be past tense because Clintons server is no longer available, and the other is the supplying of the emails to the media, which has not yet happened.

Tea leaves, no; but the hobby of watching liberals like yourself twist and turn to create an agenda in your own image is interesting.

Try again Rocky Marks; you have been listening and parroting the liberal media instead of thinking for yourself.

I hope you find the thirty thousand emails that are missing.

If Trump was referring to the past, wouldn’t he have said: “I hope you found the thirty thousand emails” instead?

I wouldn’t assume it is beyond the capabilities of an adversary as sophisticated as Russia to be able to hack an offline server in the FBI’s possession. Nevertheless, it would be extremely challenging and Russia is not likely to be willing to expend the resources just to learn HRC’s yoga schedule from 5 years ago. Still, it is outrageous for an American politician to egg on a foreign adversary like that.

“Conservative Iowa radio host Steve Deace:

So most of conservative media and the GOP spent the week rooting for Russia, and now the Democrats get to rally around the flag.

Dreadful.”

As quoted on HuffPo

That might have been the worst week for the GOP since they shut down the government.

Doesn’t everyone delete the emails they receive after they’ve read them, and clean up the sent folder once in a while too?

Sorry, visitor, one doesn’t even need to listen to the “liberal media” to recognize the stench of the bilge that emits from the mouths of Donald Trump and his supporters. Likewise I don’t need anyone to remind me that Trump is bark at the moon nuts.
The United States will not (future tense) be better off with Donald J Trump, with his dystopic(sp) visions of reality, as President.
