Bush: America Addicted to Sex

A short time ago President Bush told America that it was addicted to oil. Right on. Now that we have solved that problem, the president is spending this past weekend and today telling America that it is addicted to sex. Maybe you’re having trouble deciphering what Bush is saying because he is exercising great subtlety, so I’ll try to elucidate. You’ve heard of free enterprise, free markets and free trade. Well, this is a free translation of Bush:

"My Fellow Americans

It pains me to say this, but we have problems: Divorce is sky high, worrying me about the future of the family upon which society is based. Healthcare is in bad shape, when about 46 million people are not even insured and they clog our emergency centers when they get sick, thus depriving paying adults with health savings accounts, of decent care. The economy is showing signs of trouble and I'm running out of new tax cuts that may help. Then there is the sad state of education where too many children are left behind. And America's drive to spread freedom throughout the Middle East is stalled in Iraq because we do not have enough soldiers to do the job.

But all these problems pale in comparison with the one huge problem I want to talk to you about. This problem goes to the essence of what America is all about. This problem is fundamental. If we can solve this problem it will go a long way toward solving divorce, healthcare, our economy, education and our drive toward Middle East freedom. I'm talking about America's addiction to sex.

Sex addiction is rampant. Sex is the number one sport in College. Sex is so prevalent that those who are not attracted that much to the opposite sex, think they must be involved too, and they become homosexuals and lesbians. This situation is getting out of hand: Men want to marry men and women want to marry women. This can't go on because same sex marriage is ruining our society. We must have an amendment to the Constitution that says:

'Marriage is between a man and a woman.'

A recent survey found that only about 3% of the population believes that same-sex marriage and abortion are the major moral issues to be addressed by Congress. This proves how bad, far gone and out of control the situation is. We Americans are so addicted to sex, we can't even see the huge problem facing us.

The Federal Marriage Amendment will reduce the divorce rate. Today about half of all marriages end in divorce. This is unfortunate and must be changed. There is only one purpose for sex and that is reproduction. Many couples forget this and go about having sex for fun. When the fun stops they are ready for divorce so they may have fun with someone else. Preventing same-sex marriage will demonstrate to all of us that sex is for reproduction and not for fun. The divorce rate will drop. What is the purpose of getting a divorce if you're not going to have fun anyway?

The Federal Marriage Amendment will improve healthcare. Homosexuals and lesbians will be shown how they may become sexually attractive to the opposite sex - but not before they got married. Thus, they would become truly healthy individuals. This would improve the health of heterosexuals as well because they would not be tempted toward perversions.

The Federal Marriage Amendment will improve the American economy. More people will realize that sex is for procreation only. Since they could not have sex for fun, they will sublimate their desires into hard work that will make our economy boom.

The Federal Marriage Amendment will transform our education system. With reduction of sex addiction, kids would concentrate on learning. No behind left..... I mean no child left behind.

More important than all the rest is the fact that the Federal Marriage Amendment will multiply America's capability to spread freedom and democracy throughout the Middle East. At the present time, our armed forces do not accept homosexuals and lesbians. What a shame. What a waste. By curing men and women of this same-sex disease, more healthy individuals will be available to achieve the grand objective of transforming the Middle East.

America is addicted to sex. The Federal Marriage Amendment will reduce this addiction and at the same time solve the major problems this country faces.

God inspired me to deliver this important message. In the unusual event that I did not get the message straight, let me say:

God bless America."

I think Bush has sex on the brain. Most likely the cause is the inability of George to satisfy Laura. My bet is George & Laura only had bad sex once and the twins are the result. No wonder they stopped!

Of course Mr Bush forgot to mention the baby he had his girlfriend abort!

Will Bush attempt to pass legislation to outlaw sex unless you plan to produce a baby?

Here you will find out the little known truth concerning President George W. Bush, Victor Ashe, the current American ambassador to Poland (formerly mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee and Exec. V.P.; C.F.O. of Fannie Mae), and their adulterous-bisexual relationship with a Las Vegas woman in 1984.

This situation took place in 1984 in the State of Tennessee. It concerns a 41 year old woman [currently residing in Las Vegas], Victor Ashe and George Bush’s encounter in 1984 during the senate debates between Al Gore, Jr., Victor Ashe and Ed McAteer. She was invited to come to Tennessee by Victor Ashe. While attending one of these debates she spoke briefly with Ed McAteer (Senatorial candidate in 1984 who debated alongside Al Gore, Jr. and Victor Ashe, and was responsible in part for the emergence of the Religious Right).

Members of the mainstream media (CNN, FOX/news, Chicago Tribune) have known about this Las Vegas woman [well known in the BDSM underground] since September of 2003 yet they have done little if anything to get to the bottom of it. Like Bush’s national guard service records they’ve given him a free pass concerning the what, where and when of his participation in the Texas Air National Guard.

We believe if the whereabouts and war-time behavior of Senator Kerry during his tour in Vietnam in the early 70’s are matters of importance to the American people [according to Sinclair Broadcasting and Swift Boat Vets for Truth] then the past behavior of this President and his involvement in a homosexual situation with another man in the mid 80’s is of equal importance.

When this Las Vegas woman told us about her conversation with Ed McAteer we thought it was something that should be looked into. He was being treated for cancer so we had to move quickly to open a dialogue. We believed obtaining a death bed declaration [if it came down to that] of a man of Ed McAteer’s stature in the Christian community [he was called the Godfather of the Religious Right] would have held tremendous weight. Ed [finally] coming forward to say what he witnessed or knew concerning this matter would have been unimpeachable. Ed was a staunch supporter of the state of Israel and quietly lobbied for the post of U.S. ambassador to Israel back in 2001 but was turned down for the position by none other than George W. Bush. It seems in George W. Bush’s isolated bubble, ambassadorships are rewards set aside for friends and lovers only.

We initially contacted Mr. McAteer back in May of this year. He mentioned at that time Victor Ashe’s sexual shenanigans were no secret in Tennessee. He seemed resentful of his party’s choice to back a ‘sodomite’ which is why he ran as an independent. Ed was on chemotherapy and it was extremely difficult for him to talk so we deferred until late August at which time his wife [Faye] informed us he wanted to talk further but was under doctors orders to refrain from all strenuous activity. Sadly, Ed McAteer passed away on Oct. 5, 2004, before we could do a follow-up interview, he was 78. For Ed’s sake [and that of his family] we hope his departure was natural [God’s will], however, the timing of it all seems rather untimely in our opinion. It bares looking into by the Tennessee authorities.

When he passed way another writer contacted Faye and she imparted to him that Ed seemed upset upon returning from the debate in Chattanooga back in 1984. Was Ed aware of Victor Ashe and George W. Bush’s bisexual behavior? Perhaps that is what upset him so.

Unfortunately he didn’t get the chance to tell us what he witnessed that night that upset him or if he remembered talking with the Las Vegas woman.

The Las Vegas woman was paid $15,000 to arrange sexual liaisons involving bisexual men for George W. Bush (then private citizen) and Victor Ashe (then a Tennessee State Senator). These adulterous bisexual affairs (3 encounters in all-3 different cities) took place in the state of Tennessee during the 1984 senate debates between, Al Gore, Jr., Victor Ashe and Ed McAteer. An African-American woman was invited to participate in this adulterous sexual encounter with George W. Bush and Victor Ashe immediately following the Chattanooga senatorial debate. This woman was paid $1,500. A few years later the Las Vegas woman was detained in Washington D.C. with Victor Ashe by the Metro D.C. police. She was released but Victor was taken into custody.

So confident was this woman that Ed would have remembered her [and their meeting] she had finally come forward and was prepared to tell it all. She will swear to the authenticity of what is being imparted here, which is the reason that we built this website so we could get this information out to you.

Bush & Co. will no doubt tell the world she’s insane, politically motivated thus concocting this for smear reasons. She is of sound mind and body and welcomes all inquires from the mainstream media. This woman deeply laments not having come forward back in 2000 when then Governor Bush was running for the highest office in the land against [ironically] Vice President Al Gore, Jr.

Disclosure of George W. Bush’s adulterous bisexual behavior will only happen if the American public demand answers. Contact your local news organizations demanding that this truth be revealed and not go the way of his Texas Air National Guard records. ~The Truth about George W. Bush

This has been posted on the internet for 2 years. The woman in Las Vegas involved in this came forward today after Bush made his speech supporting discrimination. She is Leola McConnell, who is the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Nevada. She has confirmed that she was the woman mentioned here and that this is an accurate account.

Gay marriage legislation has no consequences at all. Discussing Gay marriage has the consequence of electing Republicans.

This is the last thing I will say on this topic in this cycle. Please stop talking about this? It can only help Republicans. We should give this topic no discussion at all.

One hopes and thinks that most main stream Christians are more loving, tolerant, and accepting of diversity. I wonder if playing the “lets hate people who are different” card will be as successful at motivating his extremist base in this election as it has been in the past. These people are gullible. Bush has played them for fools. Will they wake up, or, will they suck some more of his big dog - metaphorically?

Darrius has a point.

Perhaps Adrienne, however, on the other hand, laying down and taking it up the behind from the religious wrong, silently, can be equally dangerous.

I still believe that people who think that others should have less rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, should be ashamed of themselves and do not deserve to call themselves Americans. Nothing is more Un-American than to tell our neighbors, children, friends, etc, that they aren’t entitled to the same rights, but sit down, shut up, and pay your taxes like the rest of us. I acknowledge the danger that Darrius Cole points out, but my moral fiber strains to the point of snapping at the idea that our great nation is on the path to becoming Nazi Germany, I can’t take it lying down.

Today while visiting the hospital every TV I saw was set on FOX news, and 2 out of 3 conversations were based on something to do with homosexuality.

Well, a light bulb went on in my otherwise dim brain. All discrimination is evil. Even the least offensive of the offenders are still offensive and they only serve to lend credibility to the most offensive.

So, my apologies to AP. You were right, the machinations of Bush and the religious right are every bit as offensive as the Westboro Baptists. In fact Bush’s recent words do indeed lend credibility to Phelps and his bunch of wackos.

Maybe Republicans do have a sense of humor after all, it’s just a mean punk’d trick that he will never reveal, except to his cronies over a glass of vintage wine, smoking a big ol stogie. “Shmucks. What Shmucks. I love ‘em Karl.” And the joke is on us.

President Bush says he supports (although he has not proposed) civil unions. However, because he does not want to call gay unions marriage, the Democrats label him as anti-gay. This makes no sense, until you realize the Democrats are arguing the issue out of politics (just like Bush) and not for the rights they say they are supporting (again, just like Bush).

It’s true that marriage would give gay people all sorts of rights that they don’t have now. But “marriage” the word and the actual rights are different things.

In Congress, neither party is proposing laws to give rights to gay people or take rights away from them, because that does not fit either political agenda.
Instead, they are arguing over a word and a meaningless amendment that has no chance of passing anyway. Both parties are pandering to their bases, without having to support laws that would take the issue off the table one way or the other.

Homosexuals will not gain or lose rights in this debate. They will just be used as pawns in the political game. That’s how they’re really being discriminated against.

Senator Reid said:
In spite of the many serious problems we have just discussed… we will spend most of the week on is a constitutional amendment that will fail by a large margin, a constitutional amendment on Same Sex Marriage-an effort that failed to pick up a simple majority, when we recently voted on it.

I was about to say I agreed with Reid for once. Then I realized that the parties are doing the exact same thing with all the other issues he listed. Make it look like you’re doing something to please your base, but in reality do nothing so as not to lose the issue.

President Truman was wrong about his congress being the “do-nothing congress.” It’s really this one.

This is quite possibly the most politically savvy move the President has made in a long time…this coming from a staunch Republican.

With the midterm elections looming, the GOP needs to start reenergizing its base. And this is a great way to do just that. Granted, same sex marriage is not the most pressing issue of the day, however, its social reverberations reach all aspects of society, and everyone has an opinion on gay marriage.

Most (if not all) Republicans are against gay marriage (myself included), and there are a lot of independants out there who share the same viewpoint. Renergizing the gay marriage debate is a great way to entice wavering independants to side with the anti-gay marriage GOPers, thus garnering a chunk of the cherished independant vote in the midterm election.

Granted, anti-gay marriage independants aren’t just going to jump on the GOP bandwagon solely because of the gay marriage debate, but it’s an opportunity to earn some brownie points.

Typical Bush critics argue that the President should be focusing more on pressing issues…like border security or healthcare…and less about gay marriage. But why can’t Bush focus on border security, healthcare and gay marriage simultaneously? Granted, he may not be the most eloquent orator, but surely he can multi-task.

Too funny. Unfortunately, satire goes over the heads of many people. But, then it IS difficult to satirize the President, since he is virtually an ambulatory self satire.
Frankly, I think we should consider abolishing the word “marriage”. Give the language two terms, one of them referring to the legal arrangement we currently call marriage, and another that deals only with religion sanctioned relationships. Since the first deals with legal rights and responsibilities, and the second deals with whatever it is the church (or temple, or Mosque, or whatever) concerns itself, the government can stop getting involved with any kind of discrimination and leave that to the faith based organizations, some of which seem to do such an excellent job at that already.
This clears up the linguistic ambiguity, and those of you who think your interpretation of God’s desires is the only Truth can be comfortable with your own religion’s self imposed restrictions.
Then my cousin and her partner of around 30 years can get married and get health benefits and other equal protection under the law.
Now that that is settled, can the government please consider the real problems?

How on earth can you compare the two? Not only is that insulting to both Homosexuals and Afro-Americans, it is just plain offensive to me as well I hope, others on this blog.

And this is an issue that I,too feel, has been resurrected as some ‘moral cause’ to distract American Citizens from thinking with their brains, and think only with their hearts. Especially since Bush, I believe I recall, at one point, stated that the same-sex issue was not one he wished to deal with. Isn’t it odd that he picked NOW to change his mind?

OH PULEEEEEEAZ, AS GAY AS KARL ROVE AND KEN MEHLMAN ARE…(tsk) Gawwwd..

Okay they put in a chief of justice that is gay, John Roberts is queer, no doubt about that one. Karen Hughs is definitely a lesbian, Condi Rice is some form of asexual wierdness going on there. Some accuse George Bush senior of being a pedophile being that he actually, as documented, had young male prostitutes at the White House on several occasions. Then you have the fake reporter from the phony blog who then shows up on a website with the shaved Johnson and the ballgag. They all belong to Bohemian Grove (Bush, Rummy, Powell, Schwartzenegger—the scariest of all gays, imagine that chasing you around) and the Grove is a very homosexual fraternity, that was even too gay for Nixon who called it “The faggiest damn thing you ever saw!” There was Arrianna Huffington’s husband who was gay and another republican congressperson I remember reading about, who put an ad out on a gay matchmaker site to find a special someone to be the pitcher apparently. The Republicans are much gayer than us. What about this latest Porter Goss thing with the male prostitutes?

How gay do the republicans have to be before they can just admit they are just undeniably the gayesty party in American politics.

Then they turn around and do this:—ooh if we do this no one will know we are queerer than Cher and Streisand’s entourage combined. Republicans love the closet and they are all gay as hell, all of them have a wierd gay-ish side. Pataki seems a little flitty also actually. O’reilly’s straight and thus far that is all they have. Sonny Bono was gay even and so was his daughter. Lynn Cheney strikes me as an S&M type and probably is and her daughter is a lesbian.

I think George W Bush is gay too actually—he just kinda has that flirty bohemian grove twinkle plus I think that fake reporter with the ballgag is a personal friend of his anyway.

The #1 constituency of the republican party is the wealthy. But, they could never win an election if that were their only source of votes. Therefore, the republicans have formed a powerful coalition of constituencies which have been vital to their political success. The main groups in this union are the anti-integrationists, the N.R.A. and the gun lobby, the religious right and the neocons.

The wealthy and the neocons have done very well within this coalition. The gun lobby have held their own. The anti-integrationists, who’s cause is lost, have migrated to the religious right, to the gun lobby and or the neocons.

The one group that has so far been given little concern and has been the most disappointed with the republicans is the religious right. Many of them have become disillusioned with the republicans because only lip service has been given to their causes. And, many of them are amoung the 80% who can’t see how great the economy is doing. They are also appaled by the coruption in Washington D.C. especially when they see that some of their most ardent supporters are amoung the accused. And, two Supreme Court appointees just isn’t enough.

If the republicans are to continue to maintain their political power, both in Washington D.C. and in state legislatures all across America, they must do something to bring many of the disillusioned back on board. The defense of marriage Constitional amendment is the republican attempt to bring many of the disillusioned religious right back into the fold. The republicans know that the amendment is going nowhere. But, just as it has worked in the past, the republicans believe that just the illusion of doing something will be more than enough to bring the wondering sheep back into the fold.

You say potato There is a good reason why the liberal democrats will never take back the white house, the senate or the congress. The biggest issues facing america today happen to be the war on terror which includes the war in iraq. Also mother nature But what are you einsteins talking about on your blog cites?Bill Oreilly,Gay marriage, and the price of fuel which proves that your priorities are well lets just say a little childish.you are notorious for taking your eye off the ball.A good politition has the skills to change subject in mid stream.Democrats fall for this shell game over and over again and keep coming back for more.Even with a win in the war on terrorism the dems. will not be able to join in on the victory because they fought so hard for the defeat of america. You leave your self in limbo on any positive results from any issue.Don’t feal alone because some republicans are moving to your side. This is no longer a left or right thing its a Well lets just retreat thing or a lets keep kicking ass thing.Only time will tell who wins.

lookingout,

Excuse me, but who is pushing this gay marriage ban while much more important issues are neglected? Could it be? maybe? Oh, I don’t know…..Conservatives! Liberals are talking about these things because these are the issues that our inept Republican controlled Congress has decided are important right now. You are right though, their priorities are a little childish.

Spot on. But we should be rather pleased to acknowledge that because of all their failure, and insane spending, and all of the exposure of their total corruption. they’ve really got NOTHING else. They’ve simply got to try to rally their hate-filled, totally moronic base of supporters, or they are sure to lose. And if they do, everything is going to change in a very BIG way.

lookingout,

“you are like sheep you follow you dont lead.”

Leading America off the cliff isn’t my idea of leadership.

The right doesn’t appear to think of the consequences until they reach the very edge precipice, and by then they are ill-prepared for the fall.

People will make mistakes, that is a given.
To make the same mistakes again, and again, without any admission of the mistake, is insanity.

“But why can’t Bush focus on border security, healthcare and gay marriage simultaneously?”

He can barely chew gum and walk at the same time.
All multitasking is going to do is assure he screws up more than one policy at a time.

“Then you must believe that being African is a disease too.
How on earth can you compare the two? Not only is that insulting to both Homosexuals and Afro-Americans, it is just plain offensive to me as well I hope, others on this blog. “

Read the post I was responding to. It’s quite obvious what I meant if you can make the mental leap. BUT, since you might not be able to, I’ll spell it out.
IF, as this guy claimed, AIDS is the cure, homosexuality the disease, then, by association, since AIDS has killed MANY more Africans than gays, HE must also feel that Africans somehow deserve it too.
Is that clear enough?

Alas Mr. Siegel, I am afraid that this effort will fall victim to the “Cobair Repor” phenomonon. Some readers will take it literally, not being able to read between the lines. Those folks are of course who we might refer to as Republicans, or born-again neo-cons, or some of the folks who fell behind earlier.

JL,
Oh, I find Fred’s comments to be very offensive, however, as his writings seem to in general seldom make any sense to me, I tend to ingore him.

Maybe I shouldn’t, but I don’t think there is much hope for changing his veiw, while some hope might exsit for S.Eagle, Jack, norby, and the others, etc.

I believe it makes more sense to try to open those minds that are actually used to think.

To David S.
“That aside, how about if we round up all the homosexuals? That way they can’t poison our youth with their evil, God-hating ways. We’ll put them in camps, where they’re concentrated together. Seems like someone was able to accomplish something like this before…I just can’t think of his name. Can anyone help me out here?”

I belive his name was prescott bush. Was I right?

Sorry about my punctuation but I dont capitolize war criminals and treasonists. They dont deserve that much respect.
