What kind of Commander in Chief would send his troops into battle ‘undermanned’
During the initial presidential debate on foreign policy, most notably regarding the “Iraq War”, President George W. Bush repeated the phrase “What Kind of Commander in Chief” in a number of instances such as how Senator Kerry ‘could lead troops when at the same time saying this was the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time’. We have some issues with President Bush’s statements.
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would withhold troop concentrations from the borders of Afghanistan ... allowing a deadly enemy, terrorist-trained fighters to merely walk away, to reconstitute, re-network, and fight another day?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would withhold sufficient troop deployments from Iraq, more so when massive and widespread munitions and arms depots were discovered, allowing deadly weapons and munitions to merely walk away, to reconstitute, re-network, and fight another day?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would withhold sufficient troop deployments from the borders of Iraq, more so when there is now an elevated influx of fighters to bolster those elements already within Iraq geared only towards destruction, destabilization, and civil war?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would rush to war and send forces into battle without proper armored vehicles?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would rush to war and send forces into battle without proper armor-protective vests?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would place our men and women in harms way by manufacturing intelligence data to outright lie in the never ending effort to mislead our Congress and our PEOPLE?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would fail to recognize, accept, and adjust for clear failures in tactics, strategies, and policies?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would hold it against any person let alone a presidential challenger, who exercises his god-given inalienable right to question whether the Iraq War is the "wrong war, wrong place, wrong time"? Why not instead, ANSWER TO THE CHALLENGE?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... would pull military and intelligence resources away from the key targets in Afghanistan, and divert them to the non-essential target of Saddam Hussein and Iraq ... in an essential war on global terrorism? Here we are with global terrorists trying to obtain nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, and the "Commander in Chief" diverts key resources away from the KEY TARGETS?
WHAT KIND OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF ... TAKES HIS EYE OFF THE BALL?
During the debate on foreign policy we saw numerous instances where George W. Bush 'mindlessly drifted'. He drifted and could not even keep his eye on the ball for 90 minutes. WHO DO YOU WANT AS "COMMANDER IN CHIEF"? WHO DOES AMERICAN NEED AS "COMMANDER IN CHIEF"?
And now we have a Commander in Chief who wants to expand our nuclear arsenal. Who do you want on the nuclear trigger? A Commander in Chief who 'drifts', sometimes mindlessly, or one who 'stays on point'?

It is a fact that Bush and Cheney has taken their eye off the ball. In fact, I have asked anyone to show me just one time where this administration has been proactive on an issue. No, America deserves a president that is going to deal directly by sticking their nose in where it doesn’t belong.
As far as a good hunting dog goes, I want to have one that can not only find the game, but stays engaged in the game until it brings back my prize. All that work just for a dog biscut and a pat on the head. Bush wants the pat on the head just for showing up in the pound. I guess that is the difference between a mut and a registered AKA.
