One thing I'll Miss About Bush - His Hot Daughters

Look, let’s face it - the tide is turning against the Republicans. Just a few months ago, Dubya looked invincible. The Dems were a disheartened bunch, looking for leaders and someone with that “Clinton Magic©.” Now, it looks like the ride is over. Conservatives are starting to jump ship and the Administration is now trying to solidify their base by trying to pass an amendment to ban gay marriage.

Regardless, the one thing that I’m going to miss is the one good thing that Dubya has given the country - hot twins.

I love twins as much as the next guy. Especially twins capable of graduating from Yale University and U.T. - and I hear these girls like to party! There's no problem with having an alleged drinking problem (what inhibitions?!?). I kind of dig that, truth be told.

They're free spirits, man. Let them be. I mean, dad didn't even show up for their graduation, so they've gotta be a little resentful. And I think we all know that chicks that hate their daddies are the best lovers - they have to be. They're looking for substitute father figures. But then again, so is the country right now.

And now, the First Twins are on the campaign trail helping dad in his re-election bid. They're finally talking to the press. And in return, the media is focusing on the important issues like what designers the twins are wearing (Calvin Klein, Oscar de la Renta), their fashion-forward choice in hip-hugger slacks and their flawless make-up. And God bless them for that.

The NY Times has a piece (free registration required) about Barbara and Jenna's foray into the political arena. It also mentions an upcoming interview and pictorial in Vogue in which the twins wax on their future careers and their decision to campaign for poppa:

"It's not like he called me up and asked me," Jenna is quoted in the magazine as saying. "They've never wanted to throw us into that world, and I think our decision probably shocked them. But I love my dad, and I think I'd regret it if I didn't do this."

In other words, "Love me, daddy!" Rawrr. That's hot.
