Should Al Get Back In?

Elect Gore ‘04, Draft Gore, and Al Gore ‘04 are just several of the groups trying to convince Al Gore to re-enter the race. According to the Nashville Tennesseean there’s a rally scheduled in Nashville tomorrow (06/14/03) with up to 9000 people from across the country expected.

Kerry, Dean, Edwards. A look of the (long) list of candidates currently in the race leaves me feeling like Gore’s still the best candidate, even he doesn’t realize it.

We need a fresh face! God help this nation of Al Gore reenters the election race and actually wins the nomination. We need a vibrant face who is willing to talk about something besides the “Social Security Lock Box”; Abortion, Civil Right/Liberties, the debt, the economy, etc.

Gotta agree here—I think Gore has missed his one opportunity and if he jumps into the race will insure a divisiness in a Democratic party which right now is far too fractured! Just look at Kerry and Dean at each others throats. Graham should be interesting. Mosely-Braun is taking space which should be allocated to another. Al Sharpton—No chance of course, but I must say that I like listening to what he has to say!

We’re still very early in the process for the next presidential election and this should be a very interesting one.
