An Impressive Feat
In a scene reminiscent of Gerald Ford, George W. Bush falls off a Segway scooter while in Kennebunkport, Maine.
According to Stuart F. Brown’s review of the Segway for Fortune, “Using a Segway is so intuitive that it feels as though the thing has somehow been plugged into your central nervous system.” So what’s that say about W.’s mind?
Posted by blipsman at June 13, 2003 07:42 AMAll that this says to me is that the Segway was created by a Democrat. Bush on this Segway is what Clinton was to the Whitehouse. He just fell over.
Posted by: Scott at June 13, 2003 08:20 AMOhhh… The dems pick on Bush for falling off a Segway. Oohhh… That’s deep. Man, I’m voting Democrat next time! Those Dems are so sharp.
Posted by: Thinker at June 13, 2003 09:57 AMI suppose the Secret Service will visit Mr Kamen and investigate his political connections. Or will Ashcroft connect the Segway to Al Qaeda?
I wonder if “41” took a spin on the Segway? After all W’s dad was a real fighter pilot and probsbly much more coordinated. I heard that President Jerry Ford was up and ridng on his Segway without any trouble.
Thinker, as far as The Democrats picking on W for his spill from the Segway, it’s all one big conspiracy isn’t it? Oohhh.
Posted by: RE Cronn at June 13, 2003 12:45 PMWhile I found it a little amusing, I have to label this post as luke-warm trollbait. It’s along the same lines as the pretzel incident. I think it’s OK to talk about it and poke a little fun at Bush (it’s so easy!) but let’s please be careful about sliding too far under the bridge in our search for debate. Thanks.
Posted by: Editor at June 13, 2003 01:31 PMI hate to agree with the GOP, but this really isn’t an issue to debate. The pretzel incident proved GWB was a clutz, but then again I dribbled mustard on my shirt at lunch today. Cam’s correct, there is so much more material we could be using against him here.
